As Lily flew across the city, she suddenly collided with something black, and they began to fall to the ground. Luckily, Lily's yo-yo wrapped around the cat hero's staff and tangled them up together, dangling them just above the ground and swinging them back and forth. She opened her eyes and gazed up at a boy, around her age, who had a black leather outfit with cat ears on his blonde head, neon green eyes, along with a belt as a tail. She knew that this was Cat Noir, also known as Adrien Agreste.
"Well hello. Nice of you to drop in." Cat greeted, smugly.
"Sorry about this. I didn't mean to ram into you." Lily apologized as they swung back and forth.
Lily started untangling them. When she did, they both fell and landed on their feet. Her yo-yo returned to her as she also caught Cat's baton and handed it to him.
"Thank you. So, you must be the partner my Kwami told me about." Cat said.
"I believe I am." Lily confirmed, "But who are you?"
"I'm..hmm... Cat Noir..Yeah, Cat Noir. And you?" He asked her.
"I'm...uh...Lady Scarlet." Lily replied.
"Pleasure to meet you, Lady Scarlet." Cat greeted as he took her hand and kissed it.
"Why aren't you a gentleman?" Scarlet asked, smugly.
"Of course I am." Cat confirmed, grinned.
Suddenly the duo heard a loud crash and saw a building tumbling down ahead of where they were. Cat Noir backed up, elongated his stick and used it as a pole, which launched himself off the ground to a nearby building. Then he started jumping away.
"Wait for me!" Lady Scarlet called out.
Lady Scarlet threw her yo-yo out and began to swing towards Stoneheart.
When Lady Scarlet got to the stadium, she saw Stoneheart chase after Kim. She quickly went into action by jumping onto the field and grabbing Kim before Stoneheart could crush him.
"Are you okay?" Lady Scarlet asked as she put him down.
"I-I think so." Kim replied.
"You better get out of here. It's not safe." Lady Scarlet warned. Without being told twice, Kim ran off the field. Then she quickly noticed that Stoneheart was about to grab her, but Cat Noir jumped down and put his baton between them.
"Hey, it's not very nice to pick on people that are smaller than you." Cat stated.
"I guess you're talking about yourself?" Stoneheart said.
He tried to grab Cat, but he jumped out of the way. He ran on top of the arm of the giant and hit his head with his staff, landing beside Scarlet. A yellow glow covered his body and then he grew even bigger. Scarlet quickly grabbed Cat before Stoneheart could hit him.
"Why the heck did you do that?!" Scarlet exclaimed angrily.
"Uh...cuz I thought it'll break?" Cat admitted.
"Don't you have a TV at home or something?!" Scarlet questioned, "When the policemen tried to attack him, he grew bigger!"
Before he could answer, Stoneheart came at them again. The two of them had to keep dodging all of his attacks. Then Stoneheart ripped the soccer goal out of the ground and threw it towards Alya, who just happened to be there. Cat threw his stick and extended it which caught the net before it crushed Alya. In the corner of her eye, Scarlet spotted Stoneheart coming towards them.
"Look out!" Scarlet called out and grabbed Cat's hand and jumped away, landing at the soccer goal.
"What do we do now?" Scarlet asked.
"Let's kick his rocky behind." Cat said and started running towards Stoneheart. With quick reflexes, Scarlet grabbed his shoulder, preventing him from going after the giant.
"Wait! Don't you remember, he gets bigger and stronger with every attack?" Scarlet pointed out as she let go of his shoulder, "We have to do something different."
"Different how?" Cat questioned.
"It might be a good time to use our powers." Scarlet suggested.
"Oh right! Cataclysm!" Cat activated his powers. His right hand had black orbs coming from it.
"Apparently, I destroy everything I touch." Cat said with a smirk.
"Interesting." Scarlet commented.
Cat started leaning for the pole next to him.
"No, don't do that!" Scarlet shouted, but it was too late. He touched it and the goal crumbled to pieces. Then he started at the giant.
"Cool, it's just you and me now. Time to rumble, soon-to-be rubble!" he shouted as he ran towards Stoneheart.
"Cat Noir! Wait!" Scarlet yelled.
Then she sighed when she saw Cat dramatically slammed his hand down on Stoneheart's foot. He grows confused and taps his hand a couple times again when nothing happens.
"Uh oh. I guess I only get once shot to use my power." Cat awkwardly waves at the Stoneheart before he kicks Cat back. Then he came tumbling back and landed in front of Scarlet.
"Smooth, Cat. Now you only have 5 minutes before you transform back," Scarlet sassed with her hands on her hips, "Didn't your Kwami explain anything to you?"
"I guess I was a little excited about my new life." Cat replied, resting his hands on the back of his head.
"Well, that leaves it up to me. Lucky Charm!" Scarlet said as she activated her power. She threw her yo-yo in the air and Ladybugs flew out of it. The Ladybugs grouped up and a jumpsuit appeared.
"Superpower." Cat said, sarcastically.
"My Kwami said I had to break the object, where the Akuma is in." Scarlet explained, frowned.
"Well, he's entirely made out of stone." Cat explained.
"Gee, I didn't notice." Scarlet muttered which earned a glare from Cat.
"His right hand, it's so closed." Scarlet gasped, pointing at the fist, "That's where the Akuma must be!"
"What's your plan?" Chat asked, tilting his head.
Scarlet looks around, her lucky vision catching and locking on Stoneheart's fist, Alya, a water pipe and a water hose.
"This." Scarlet grabs the water hose. She connects it to the item she got from her lucky charm and wraps her yo-yo around Cat's feet. "Don't resist, trust me!" She nods and tosses him into Stoneheart's grasp.
"This girl is crazy!!!!" Cat shouted.
"Catch us if you can!" Scarlet taunted the stone man, getting caught in his grasp as he dropped whatever he was holding.
"Alya, now!" Scarlet instructed.
Alya quickly turns on the water which makes the suit expand and he drops them. Scarlet uses her explosion to blind Stoneheart so he wouldn't get the spotted heroine. Scarlet crushes the object beneath her feet, and smiles as the black butterfly flies away.
"Oh no, you don't." Scarlet opens her yo-yo and throws it towards the Akuma, capturing it, "Gotcha!'
The rock disappears and Cat Noir and Ivan are left behind.
"Bye-bye, little butterfly!" Scarlet releases the white butterfly, watching as it flutters away.
"Thanks for your help, Cat Noir." Scarlet thanked him as she helped him up. Cat's cheeks turned pink at Scarlet's thanks.
"No problem." Cat smiled which made Scarlet turn pink.
Then Scarlet threw the jumpsuit in the air. "Miraculous Scarlet!"
"Pound it!" Cat and Scarlet fist bumped as the flurry of Ladybugs repaired the damage around them.
Cat's ring beeps, signaling that he was about to change back.
"You should get going. Our identities must remain a secret." Scarlet warned.
"Farewell, M'lady!" Cat bows and he takes off running, "Let's do this again soon, okay?"
"Not too soon I hope." Scarlet smiled.
Scarlet turns to Ivan and picks up the rolled-up paper, opens it and reads it, "You haven't even got the guts to tell Myléne that you love her, wuss!"
She knew that Kim was the one at the fault. Just why did he have to tease a boy like Ivan who liked this girl named Myléne. Scarlet walked over to him.
"Kim wrote it. He's always making fun of me." Ivan grumbled sadly.
"You know, you shouldn't get bent out of shape about that. There's no shame in telling someone you love them, young man." Scarlet stated, patting his arm.
"You think so?" Ivan asked.
Scarlet smiled and nodded, "It's true that it's scary to confess to that person, but you have to at least try and tell the lucky girl."
Ivan smiled at her words. Then they noticed Alya right across from them, filming them.
"Uncanny, amazing, spectacular." Alya said, holding up her phone, "Are you gonna be protecting Paris for now on? How did you get your powers? Did you get stung by a radioactive Ladybug? Oh I've got a ton of questions to ask you... uh... Miss?"
"Uhh... Lady Scarlet, call me Lady Scarlet." Lady Scarlet grinned and took off.
"Lady Scarlet, super awesome." Alya said.
Lady Scarlet jumped down to her balcony doors and transformed back into her civilian form. Tikki floated by her side as she went onto her computer to watch the news.
"So thanks to this amateur footage, the Parisians now know the identities of their heroes." Nadja said.
"I am pleased to announce, we will be organizing a huge celebration in honor of our city's new protectors, Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir." The Mayor announced.
"You did great, Lily!" Tikki cheered.
"Thank you, Tikki," Lily complimented, "How about some cookies?"
"Sure!" Tikki agreed.
Adrien's Room
"I am pleased to announce, we will be organizing a huge celebration in honor of our city's new protectors, Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir." The Mayor announced.
"Lady Scarlet." Adrien said, smiling fondly while watching the news.
Adrien felt like Lady Scarlet was familiar to him somehow. He couldn't wait for the future battles they might have together. Even though Lady Scarlet now holds a place in his heart, but there's someone else who's still holds his in first place.
"Eww, wee, what is this?" Plagg asked, holding a cup that held fruits and a tiny umbrella.
"Seriously? My personal chef made all this!" Adrien said, glaring at Plagg.
"If you expect me to get my energy back after the transformation," Plagg drops the cup. "I need to eat something more... delicate!"
"Okay. What do you want?" Adrien asked.
Lily walked down to the kitchen with Tikki hiding in her hair. She went up to the cupboard and took out a small bag of cookies as she headed back upstairs. She sat down at her desk and handed a cookie to Tikki who took a bite. Lily couldn't help but chuckle as Tikki ate most of the cookies. Lily had a hard time believing that she was given the Ladybug Miraculous. She wondered what kind of changes would occur now.
"Tikki, there's something that I have to tell you." Lily said.
"What is it?" Tikki asked.
"You probably won't believe me though." Lily stated.
"I'll always believe in you, Lily." Tikki promised.
Lily smiled at Tikki's words. She knew that Tikki is a very supporting being.
"Alright, I'll tell you everything from the beginning." Lily decided.
