Introverts are often misunderstood as shyness or antisocial behavior.  However, introvert is primarily about how individuals recharge: introverts gain energy from solitude, while extroverts gain energy from social interaction. This misunderstanding can lead to misjudgments and unfair treatment.

Introverts don't dislike socializing; they simply require time to process social interactions. After socializing, they need alone to recharge. This doesn't mean they don't enjoy social events, but they need a balance between social interaction and solitude.

Introverts are sometimes perceived as arrogant or aloof due to their quieter nature and selectivity in friendships.  They are more comfortable expressing themselves in smaller, closer groups and prefer listening and thoughtful responses to dominating conversations.  This doesn't indicate a lack of caring, but rather a preference for observation and processing before responding.  Therefore, quietness shouldn't be equated with unfriendliness.  Given the opportunity, and supportive space, introverts have much to share.

I know this is not the usual thing to post on here, but I read something someone posted and …It reminded me that there was work

That still needs to be done. If any of you have read my work, you would know I tend to write on Dark subjects. You work with what you know.

As a child I was severely Traumatized,  I was S.A. numerous times in a Foster Home when I was 6 years old. In my life I have had to deal with the Aftermath, Depression, Thoughts of Self-Harm…trying to do so. But then I started thinking about my Trauma as I got older (30's) I started to look back onto how I reacted because of those Traumatic events….and others.

I am not going to tell you all that the Trauma goes away…

I think Individuals like myself and many others…. And I am pretty sure You (Who is reading this) have experienced Trauma. We found out that does not make us "Normal" and that is okay. We have been closer to "Evil" than other people. Trauma is like a scar that we carry through our lives. When "Normal" People are building the walls that make up their "House of Life", we have it harder, our material has a habit of breaking down. We have to learn that we build things differently. Social Interactions, relationships, we are different in how we treat ourselves.

But…that is our Strength over the norm. No.. things don't bother us the same way that they bother other people…that's because we have been through worse. Why do we have warped sense of humor? Because we have to smile in the face of what happened to us, the "normal"  people could not fathom why we have to laugh.

Everyone who reads this, every single person, you are FAR GREATER than what you have been lead to believe. If someone asked me "What connects us all?" without a doubt it is Trauma. We all know what that is, the truth is the Traumatized are become the new "Normal" Those who Traumatize are doing so at a pace far quicker than before. I want to fight against the day that there is only the Traumatizer and the Traumatized. You can help with that fight.

We start by helping our own. We have to recognize that How we dealt with Trauma, effects us in a way that we "Pass" it on to others, we, through the methods we take to deal…can inadvertently Traumatize others. Sometimes people can never break the cycle and pass on Generational Trauma… We have to stop being guarded, stop instantly blocking any concern or questions… We have to be truthful. You are Traumatized. You have the power to stop it with you or you can continue the cycle.

I want you, the reader, to tell that voice in your head that is reading this that you will take back what they stole from you. You are going to heal yourself. You owe it to who you were before those events happened. That person who you were, is still inside you. Waiting for you to love them once again.

Truth is, I see those who are like us as "Trauma Cousins" To fight against those who Traumatize, we have to stand as a family, we are all in this together.

I will gladly fight by your side.
