Uncertain of her gift and its usefulness Veera gives back in the only way she knows how- at the outpost. Afraid of her future she puts it off until a threat to the Great Tree confronts her with no other option but to dive head first.

The story of the first human which was created and survived within the new world.

Eleven-year-old Evie Amanda Madison and twenty-one-year-old Mateo Brook are part of a specialized camp aimed at training aspiring Pinta Park Rangers. Evie, who has a dream to be just like her hero, Ranger Anthony, is unaware of the danger she is about to walk into.

There is a basilisk loose in the Paperblank Forest. It's a creature of old magic that dates as far back as the Green Guardian herself.

Audience:

Suitable for a bit "older" teenagers and young adults are the "main audience". However, I think anyone can enjoy this book since more adult themes such as se*xuality and violence are described very lightly in this book! No graphic or explicit content is described, I'm just "touching upon" these topics.

I'm writing this story in my free time and some days I have more time than others. However, I plan on making this into a paperback book when it's finished, and my main goal is for it to be somewhat of an ongoing project with not too many long breaks in between chapters.
