I, Olivia Dixon, now known as Lily Rossi, was enjoying my new life. On the day I was born, my mom gave me to my Aunt May and Uncle John. It was sad to say that May couldn't have kids, so she and John adopted me. Truth be told, after my mom told my real dad about being pregnant with me, he took off like a shot. My mom didn't want to do an abortion and wanted to focus more on her career, so she decided to give me to my aunt and uncle. The two were happy to have me in their lives. My uncle John works as a tailor while my aunt May is a fashion designer with a hobby of painting. Even though I have a mom, my aunt and uncle were like real parents to me. I was very glad to call them mom and dad.
When I turned six, I told them that I wanted to learn a lot of things but had a hard time choosing. My rich grandparents, Richard and Elizabeth Rossi, decided to step in and helped hire a few tutors for me. The reason they're so rich is because of their wine company which is very popular in Italy. It's a very popular brand and many stores love them too. Many famous people buy their wine for their special events. My grandparents even got to meet them in person.
As I stayed with John and May, I learned that this universe didn't have the same celebrities, movies, books, tv shows, manga, anime and games as my previous life. But there were some familiar things as well. I'll tell you at a later date. I couldn't believe that people were missing out on so many great things. Then I decided to publish them under my name. Well since those writers, directors, artists didn't exist here, it probably wouldn't count as plagiarism, right? I could make some new changes and the facts as if writing fanfiction! As I got a little older, I did attend public school while being tutored on the side. I still write down my transcripts from my favorite movies and tv shows and draw my favorite manga as well. Lucky enough my art skills were just as good in my previous life and improved a little more in my new life. I didn't want to send my scripts to any directors yet since it would be strange for a young kid to have made an interesting script. So I decided to wait until I get a little older.
I also became quite an influencer online. I do a lot of blogging by posting my arts and crafts along with my cooking videos since I was 12 years old. I've gained a lot of viewers and followers since then. I hope people continue to enjoy my art and cooking.
When I was six, my family and I visited Paris, May's home country. That's where I befriended Chloé, Félix and Adrien. The thing that also surprised me was that John and May were friends with Gabriel Agreste. May and Émilie along with Amélie, Émilie's younger twin sister, were friendly rivals when it came to photoshoots and films. In fact, Émilie let May hold Adrien after he was born and Amélie let John hold Félix. Émilie and Amélie were happy for May when she heard that May and John adopted me. I knew that Chloé could be a brat most of the time, but she was just insecure and had no female model to look up to since Chloé's mom was always in New York with Zoe. At first, Chloé didn't really like me, but she slowly warmed up to me which I was glad of. After I left, I promised Chloé, Félix and Adrien I will always stay in contact with them.
My family and I also traveled to different places as I grew. I visited New York, Spain, India, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and many other places. I really enjoyed my time in New York and California. In New York, I got to enjoy the thrill of street dancing along with the art and music festivals. That's where I met Zoé Lee, Chloé Bourgeois's half-sister. The two of us really bonded well and became friends. She admitted to me that she was jealous of Chloé because she's always with her dad while she hardly gets to see him and that her real dad left her behind. I had told Zoé that Chloé was also jealous of her, and she had asked why. I simply told her that Zoé was always with her mom while Chloé wasn't. I encouraged to call Chloé and try to bond with her. After that phone call, Zoé and Chloé would do weekly facetime. Luckily, I was able to help mend the strain relationship between the two sisters. We also introduced her to Adrien and Félix, and we became good friends with one another.
So far, I think I did some good for Chloé and Zoé. The two sisters were now very close and now encouraged each other's with their future goals. Their weekly chats became longer by the week. I was really glad that I was able to fix their relationship and their bond became stronger. Zoé would actually come to Paris to spend the weekend with Chloé and her stepdad. There were also times I would also come to Paris to meet up with them as well. Adrien and Félix would come too as well. Sabrina Raincomprix was also invited and became a bigger group of friends.
However, things turned worse when Émilie Agreste disappeared and Colt Fathom, Amélie's husband, passed away. My parents were very worried for Gabriel, Félix and Adrien. Me and the girls did our best to be there for Adrien and Félix. Gabriel soon became distant towards everyone and made Adrien become homeschooled instead of going to a public school while Amélie went back home with Félix. Chloé, Zoé, Sabrina and I would talk with the two boys whenever we could and try to be there for them. Somehow, I knew that the boys were grateful towards us for being there when we can.
Lily's Point of View:
Right now, I'm packing for Paris. My dad managed to open a tailor shop in Paris and my mom will work as a designer for a boutique right next to dad's tailor shop. Luckily our apartment is right next to the tailor shop. I was truly excited to move to Paris. I couldn't wait to meet up with Chloé, Sabrina and Adrien. They were on a group video chat on my laptop. Félix, Chloé, Zoé, Sabrina and Adrien were on the screen as I folded my clothes into a suitcase as I sat next to my suitcase.
"[So you're finally moving to Paris huh Lily?]" Chloé asked.
"Yup. I'll be going to Collège Françoise Dupont with you and Sabrina." Lily replied.
"[I'll be going to Collège Françoise Dupont as well.]" Adrien spoke up.
"Really? / [Really?]" I and the others questioned, surprised.
"[How did you manage to do that, Adrien?]" Zoé asked.
"[Yeah, uncle seemed pretty determined to keep you under house arrest, cousin.]" Félix commented.
"[Oh, I have my ways.]" Adrien grinned.
"[Ooh, it'll be so great that you and Lily are going to be joining Sabrina and I!]" Chloé beamed.
"[Totally!]" Sabrina added.
"[Wish I could join you guys. But I'm stuck in private school.]" Félix said and then groaned.
"[Sorry, Félix. I know you guys want me to join you. But I like my school here in New York.]" Zoé apologized.
"We all wish that Zoé and Félix could join us. But that's how it is. Maybe we should plan a get together some time." I suggested.
"[That would be great. It's been a few months since we all got together.]" Sabrina agreed.
"[I'll ask my father for permission. Let's hope he will.]" Adrien prayed.
"We'll cross our fingers and toes while praying." I commented while crossing my fingers as everyone did the same thing.
Adrien just smiled and chuckled at that, "[I'll do the same.]"
We smiled at him. Adrien smiled back and then let out a sigh.
"[I gotta go. Piano playing before bed.]" Adrien said and waved at everyone, "[Bye.]"
"Bye. /[Bye.]" I and the others waved goodbye before his screen went black.
We all let out a sigh and shared a look. We knew that Gabriel was very strict to Adrien and rarely let him out of the house. I could only hope that we can somehow convince to give Adrien more freedom in his own house.
"Well, I gotta go too. I need to finish packing and getting ready for the flight tomorrow. Luckily, the house is finally done. We just have to bring ourselves." I said.
"[We understand. Have a great time in Paris. Bye.]" Zoé waved goodbye before her screen went black.
"[Me too. I need to get back to studying. Bye.]" Félix waved goodbye before his screen went black.
"[See you later, Lily!]" Chloé and Sabrina waved goodbye as I waved back before their screens went black.
I let out a sigh before resuming my task of folding my clothes into my suitcase. Soon I was done, and I closed it. I looked around my empty room. It was almost hard to believe that I've been Lily Rossi for the last fifteen years now. It's been a great life so far. I can't wait to see what adventures I'll experience in Paris.
A Day Later:
I was finally in Paris! I couldn't believe it! I gaze at all the buildings as we rode the taxi. We soon arrived at our new house.
I have to admit that I was surprised when I first saw it, but I already grew to love it. I couldn't wait to explore these rooms.
"After a week of renovation, it turned out to be a great house." John said, wrapping his arm around me.
"Yeah, I love it." I said.
"Go find your room, honey, you're gonna love it." May urged.
"Where is it?" I asked.
"Second floor, third room to your right." May instructed.
"Okay!" I beamed.
Then I rushed inside and went up the stairs. Soon enough, I found my room and I instantly was in love with it.
I couldn't wait to start doing my arts and crafts here. I put my suitcase on my bed and went to check the bathroom that was attached to my room.
I was absolutely amazed at it. I was so glad to have my own bathroom as well. I then checked out the kitchen, dining room and living room.
Then I checked out the backyard.
It was official. I definitely love this house.
My parents soon gave a house party. I invited Chloe, Sabrina and Adrien to the party. Their parents came along as well. But Garbriel Agreste didn't show up, only Adrien's bodyguard did. Even though he didn't come, Adrien told my parents that his dad said hi and will try to arrange a dinner with them when he was free next. My parents were upset but they understood that Gabriel would always be busy. My friends were amazed at the inside and outside of the house. Chloe and Sabrina suggested they should do a sleepover sometime soon. I couldn't wait for that. Soon enough, it got late, and my friends and their parents went home. I helped John and May with the cleanup. After wards, I took a shower and went to bed.
I would be starting school next week which I was excited about. I was happy to be with my friends at school. But I knew I had a few challenges ahead. But as long as I have my friends, I can handle anything. I wonder what awaits me.
