A/N: Outfit for the episode
It was soon morning. Lily put her long hair in a braid, put on her outfit and shoes. She decided to wear the necklace that her grandma gave to her which was the one that looked like the Fox Miraculous. It would be cool if she had Trixx as her Kwami. But the odds are running into Master Fu might be low. Then she walked towards the kitchen and began to eat breakfast with her aunt and uncle.
"Are you excited for school, Lily?" John asked.
"A little bit. I just hope that I can make some new friends. I know that Chloé and Sabrina are going to the same school as me." Lily replied.
"That's a good thing, right?" May asked.
"Yeah. I just hope that Chloé isn't causing any trouble or making enemies." Lily prayed.
John shrugged, "One can only hope, Lily." He said.
Lily smiled before she finished her breakfast. Then she brought her dirty dishes over to the sink.
"Well, I better get going. Don't want to be late." Lily said as she picked up her school bag.
"Hold on." May spoke up and walked over to the counter where she spotted a blue box. May walks over to Lily with the box and holds it out to her, "Cookies, to help break the ice. Make sure to share, okay?"
Lily smiled as she gently took the box, "Thanks, Mom." She said before she left the house.
Lily exited the house, walked down the street, passed the bakery and went over to the stop sign where she noticed a guy typing on his phone and a bluenette haired girl carrying a small, long white box. She recognized the girl who was Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Lily was glad that she came before the 'Volpina' episode. Then she spotted a familiar old man in a red Hawaiian shirt with a cane, Master Wang Fu. He was walking across slowly as another car was coming towards him. Acting quickly, she grabbed Fu's hand and gently pulled him towards the safety of the sidewalk.
"Thank you, young lady. It would have been a disaster if you hadn't helped me." Fu thanked her.
"You're welcome, sir. But next time, be more careful." Lily warned him.
"I will." Fu promised.
What Lily didn't know was that he noticed the Fox tail shaped pendant around her neck. He was surprised that the girl had such a necklace. She held out the box of cookies to Fu. He smiled as he took a cookie and bit into it.
"Delicious." Fu smiled.
"Thanks. Well I better get going. Don't want to be late to school." Lily said as she closed the box.
"SCHOOL!!" Marinette shouted.
Lily and Fu flinched at her loud shout. Before Lily could blink, Marinette already took off.
"Goodbye and have a good day, sir!" Lily smiled.
Lily waved to Fu as she ran towards her new school. Master Fu waved at her back before she turned towards her school. Then he held a small black box with a red Chinese design on it.
"Thank you very much, young lady." Fu smiled and walked off to a certain location.
Lily had gotten her schedule from the principal after getting directions from a nearby student. She was slightly nervous as she headed towards her destined classroom where most of the main characters are. She hopes that she'll be able to befriend everyone. Marinette might be difficult since Marinette will probably see her as a rival for Adrien's affections. That will be one heck of a problem. When she arrived at the classroom, she noticed Marinette being frowned at by some bleached blonde with too much makeup and an orange haired girl right next to her. The blonde was Chloé Bourgeois, and the orange was Sabrina Raincomprix.
"That's my seat." Chloé declared.
"But this has always been my seat." Marinette stated, quietly.
"Not anymore," Sabrina confirmed, "New school, new year, new seats."
"So, why don't you just go and sit beside that new girl over there." Chloé pointed over to a brown-haired girl with glasses who turned around and glared at her. The brown-haired girl with glasses was known as Alya Césaire.
"But—" Marinette began.
"Listen, Adrien and Lily are arriving today; and since that is going to be Adrien's seat," Chloé pointed at the vacant seat in the front before glaring and pointing at Marinette's table. "This is going to be my seat along with Lily's. Get it?"
"Who's Adrien and Lily?" Marinette asked in confusion. The two girls laughed obnoxiously.
"Can you believe that she doesn't know who Adrien or Lily is? What rock have you been living under?" Chloé snarked.
"He's only a famous model. Lily is also a popular influencer." Sabrina added.
"And I'm their best friend." Chloé gloated as she placed her left hand on her chest, "They adore me. Oh, go on, move." She pointed back with her thumb.
"Hey, who elected you the Queen of Seats?" Alya piped in with her arms crossed.
"Oooh look Sabrina, we've got a little do-gooder in our class this year," Chloé leaned against the table and then got close to her face, "What are you gonna do super newbie? Shoot beams at me with your glasses?"
Lily knew that Chloé wasn't really mean. She was only respectful towards her friends. She knew that she had to step before Chloé made things worse.
"Hey Chloé! Hey Sabrina!" Lily greeted.
"Lily!" Chloé and Sabrina beamed.
Chloé and Sabrina ran over to Lily and hugged her, making sure not to crush her box of cookies as they hugged.
"It's so good to see you, Lily! How are you settling in?" Chloé asked as she pulled away.
"I'm settling in fine." Lily replied.
"So are your parents starting to work?" Sabrina asked as she pulled away.
"Yup. Both of them are starting to get customers." Lily replied.
"That's amazing!" Sabrina beamed.
"Yeah. By the way, you said that Adrien is coming to school, right?" Lily asked as she put the box of cookies down on the nearby desk.
Chloé's brow arched, "Yeah, why?"
"It's just that I didn't think that Mr. Agreste would let Adrien come to school. He seemed pretty determined to keep him inside his house." Lily stated.
"Good point. Maybe he changed his mind?" Chloé shrugged with her arms out.
"I don't know, Chloé. You and I both know how stubborn his dad is. I have a feeling that Adrien is trying to sneak out to come to school. He was luckily enough to let Adrien come to the house party." Lily said.
"You could be right." Chloé agreed.
Then Alya ushered Marinette to her seat which caused her to trip. Lily quickly caught her fall with her right arm and caught the box in her left. She let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank you." Marinette thanked her as she stood up.
"You're welcome." Lily smiled as she handed the box to her.
Then Marinette and Alya went to their new seats while Lily (bringing her box of cookies with her), Chloé and Sabrina sat down together in the seat in back of Nino.
"Has everyone found a seat?" A tall female teacher with red orange hair asked.
Everyone stayed in their seats.
"For those of you who don't yet know me I'm Miss Bustier. I'll be your teacher this year." The woman with red orange hair said as she wrote her name on the board. Miss Bustier was a tall and light skinned woman. She had red orange hair that was pulled back in a high bun, teal-colored eyes, thin light pink lips, and freckles, "We also have a new student who has just transferred from Italy. Would you please stand up?" Miss Bustier requested.
Lily stood up from her seat, "Hi, my name is Lily Rossi. I'm from Italy. I just moved to Paris with my family because of my family's work. I like writing, street dancing, baking, drawing, crafting and cooking." Lily introduced.
Lily held out the box of cookies, "Would you all like to try one?" She offered.
"Sure." Everyone said.
Chloé and Sabrina got one first. Then Lily gave one to Nino, Miss Bustier and soon everyone else. Lily could tell that they all enjoyed the cookies.
"Thank you, Lily." Miss Bustier complimented as Lily sat down, "Now everyone, get your books out."
Chloé stared at the seat that was meant for Adrien to sit in. She leaned her cheek against her palm as she grunted with frustration. She knew that class had already started, and Adrien had yet to appear.
"Ugh, where is he? He should have been here by now." Chloé grumbled.
Lily placed her hand on her shoulder, trying to give Chloé comfort.
Meanwhile, a teenage boy with blonde hair and green eyes was headed towards the college. He quickly walked up the stairs until a car parked in front of school and a businesswoman got out of the car along with a man who almost looked like a gorilla.
"Adrien, please reconsider. You know what your father wants." The woman called out. Adrien stopped in his steps as the woman and a huge man walked up to him.
"But this is what I want to do." 'Adrien' said as he placed his right hand on his chest when he turned towards the two. He turned around towards the steps until he heard a grunt of pain and saw an old man in a red Hawaiian shirt on the ground, trying to reach his cane. He ran over to the old man and knelt down to give him his cane. Then he helped the old man to his feet.
"Thank you, young man." The old man thanked Adrien who smiled at that. Adrien turned around and saw the woman and the large man look at him with disappointment and patience. He frowned and stared at the ground as he walked over to them.
"Just want to go to school like everybody else. What's so wrong with that?" Adrien questioned, "Please don't tell my father about all this."
Adrien reluctantly went back into the car, followed by the woman and the gorilla man. Once they were all buckled in, they drove off.
But what Adrien didn't know was that the old man watched him leave and turned around to leave with his cane laying over his shoulder as he whistled. He had found another chosen one for another miraculous.
Class was soon over, and some students were preparing to leave.
"Those of you who have PE, Mr. D'Argencourt is expecting you at the stadium," Miss Bustier said, "The rest of you can head over to the library."
"Can I join you guys in the library?" Lily asked Chloé and Sabrina as she picked up her bag.
"Of course." Chloé replied.
"Kim!"
The three girls turned at the voice and saw a tall buff boy growl at another boy in a red short-sleeve hoodie at the table next to him. The tall buffy boy was known as Ivan and the one in the red hoodie was Kim. Ivan looked like he was about to punch Kim as well.
"Ivan! What is going on?" Miss Bustier shouted.
"It's Kim!" He pointed at Kim. He looked at Kim again and lifted his fist, getting ready to punch him. "I'm so gonna-"
"Ivan! Go to the principal's office!" Miss Bustier ordered.
Ivan looked at Kim and growled while crumbling the note in his hand, he put his backpack over his shoulder. Kim snickered at him as he walked out. Lily could already tell that Kim was a cocky jock who liked to make fun of people. To Lily's point of view, that kind of personality was just as bad as Chloé's. However, she felt bad for Ivan. She knew that whatever Kim had written on that note he had given to Ivan had set him off.
"I hate guys like that." Lily said as she followed Chloé and Sabrina.
"What guys?" Sabrina asked.
"Guys like Kim. I can't believe he would tease Ivan like that." Lily stated.
"I take it that you don't like jocks all that much." Sabrina guessed.
"You bet. I remember there was this really arrogant jock back at my old school who wouldn't stop asking me out on a date." Lily explained.
"Really?" Chloé asked.
"How'd you get him to stop?" Sabrina questioned.
"I told him that one of my uncles owns a lot of guns and won't mind using him as target practice." Lily grinned, "My uncle Matt won't miss because he's a former sniper."
"Wow, that would get any guy scared to ask you out." Chloé commented, blinked in shock.
"Yeah." Sabrina agreed, nodding.
"Works like a charm. Hopefully I won't end up in that kind of situation any time soon." Lily prayed.
"You just might." Chloé commented.
The three girls giggled.
The girls soon arrived at the library; Chloé was talking about her new blog she started recently. Suddenly the ground shook, causing some people to fall to the floor along with a few books and chairs.
"What the heck?" Lily asked.
Chloé quickly helped Lily and Sabrina to their feet and rushed them over to the middle of the library where there were four cameras that were placed outside, and three other students were there.
"Did you hear that?" One asked. One of the cameras had a rock giant on it, with a small crater on the sidewalk.
"Kim!" the giant yelled. That voice. It was oddly familiar.
"What's going on? He has Ivan's voice?" Marinette questioned.
"I think that's Ivan." Lily answered.
"It's as if he'd been transformed into a real-life supervillain!" Alya said, pulling her phone out. "GPS, check. Battery, check, I'm so outta here." She ran towards the door.
"Hey, wait a minute!" Marinette yelled, "Where are you going?!"
Alya turned around with excitement on her face, "Where there's a super-villain, there's always a superhero not far behind. No way I'm missing this!"
"Is she crazy?" Chloé muttered.
"Maybe." Sabrina muttered.
Lily, Chloé and Sabrina turned towards the screens. The rock giant walked into the street, and a car screeched to a stop. Ivan picked it up as two people ran out screaming.
"Kim!" he yelled, throwing the car at the camera.
The three girls flinched as the camera got destroyed. The three ran out of the school and went to their homes.
Lily was watching the news about the stone giant on her computer as she sat in her chair. She saw how the army tried to deal with it first, only for the giant to grow bigger. Then it went towards the mayor.
"I'm asking all Parisians to stay home, until this situation is under control." The mayor announced as the news reporters were calling out for him. The screen turned to Nadja Chamack.
"As incredible as it seems, it has been confirmed, Paris is indeed being attacked by a super-villain. The police have been struggling to keep the situation under control." Nadja stated.
After that, the camera switched to Roger Raincomprix, "Be confident! The strong arm of the law will come crashing down!.." He raised his arm that was in a cast, "..on.. er.." He put it back down, wincing. "I mean, the other arm."
"I'm already hating the first day of school." Lily moaned, cupping her chin in her hands. She then noticed a familiar little black box with red designs was sitting on near her keyboard, "No way."
'A Miraculous! I can't believe it. But which one is it?' Lily thought with worry.
Lily picked up the box and opened it to reveal a pair of Ladybug themed earrings were seen in the box and a second later a bright red glowing orb came out, scaring Lily. A creature the size of a pen holder was revealed after the orb's glow faded away. She was stunned to see who the creature was.
It was Tikki, the Kwami of the Ladybug Miraculous!
"Uh hi. Who are you?" Lily questioned, hesitantly.
"I'm Tikki and I'm a Kwami!" Tikki answered.
"What's a Kwami?" Lily asked.
"A Kwami is a creature that grants superhero powers!" Tikki replied.
"Am I really capable of becoming a superhero?" Lily questioned.
Tikki fluttered closer, her eyes shining with sincerity. "Yes! You must trust me. You're the only one who can stop Stoneheart!" she urged, her tone hushed but urgent.
Back at Fu's place. Fu was putting away the box that contained the miraculous. Master Fu stared at the empty places where a few Miraculouses were missing.
"Do you think they'll be up to it, Master?" Wayzz pondered.
"I only got it wrong once. It will never happen again. At least I hope not." Fu answered as he closed the lid on the box. The box went back to its hiding place inside of the phonograph.
Lily took a deep breath, her thoughts swirling with uncertainty. "Okay, I'll try, I guess..." she said hesitantly, her voice wavering.
She couldn't help but question herself— was she truly capable of handling this responsibility? The fear of possibly ruining this universe. She already changed the relationship between Chloe and her sister. Not to mention that she was able to befriend Zoe, Chloe, Felix and Adrien. She didn't know what changes would be if she became Ladybug. But why did Master Fu choose her instead of Marinette?
Tikki fluttered closer, her expression reassuring. "You're the chosen one, Lily," she said firmly, her voice steady and filled with conviction. "But don't worry. I'll stay by your side every step of the way."
Lily smiled softly at Tikki's assurance, "Alright then, what do I have to do?" She asked.
"Okay," Lily put on her earrings. "So all I have to do is break the object where the akuma is hiding, right?"
Tikki nodded, "Right. And after that, you must capture it."
"Lucky Charm is my superpower, right?" Lily asked, pretending not to know.
"Correct! And after that, you need to throw the object in the air and say, 'Miraculous Ladybug' to fix the damage of the akuma attack, okay?" Tikki asked.
Lily nodded, "Okay."
"Also, after you use Lucky Charm, you have five minutes before you return back to your civilian form. I also need to eat something in order to get my energy back." Tikki explained.
"Got it!" Lily said.
"Now say spots on!" Tikki said.
"Tikki, Spots on!" Lily called out.
Suddenly a flurry of ladybugs surrounded Lily and, Ta-Da, she became Ladybug.
"Whoa." Lily examined her outfit.
The outfit was a completely different from the first season. It looked nothing like the original. Her long hair was in a ponytail tied with the red ribbon and two shorter bangs framing her face, which was loosely tied near the ends with red bands. There were also red highlights at the end of her ponytail and bangs.
"Well, here goes nothing, please god make me not regret this." Lily mutters the last part.
She was cut off by Nadia on the screen reporting about Stoneheart.
"The monster seems to be unstoppable-"
She looked at her computer screen and saw the stone giant heading down a street. Right behind him was Alya riding on a bike.
"Alya." Lily gasped with wide eyes. She knew that Alya liked superheroes, but she didn't know that she would be that crazy to go after a super-villain. She quickly went to her balcony.
"Don't worry, you can do this, Lily." Lily encouraged herself and threw her yo-yo across the city. With a gentle tug, she flew forward across the city.
