Magic poem.

Two thousand years have passed since magic was discovered. Two thousand and five since the first meta human was born. Today, magis live alongside metas, coexisting under a fragile, uneasy peace.

Meta Felix Pagonis is a member of the Guardian Council, an organisation created to keep the peace in Sirius City. Born with vast psychic powers, he is perfectly content living comfortably with his younger sister as an perfectly normal school boy.

But all that will change when his fellow Guardian, Sorcerer Gaius Deusdedit, discovers a spellcraft  that causes metas to go berserk during a mission. Together, they uncover a plot that aims to destabilise the peace between their races and even bring about the end of their world.

Will our two protagonists stop the plot? What secrets are Gaius hiding from his colleague? Will they make the right decision in the end?

He lunged at Omar, and tried to kill him. But Omar was not a fool, nor a corpse. He was a sorcerer, and a warrior. He had sensed Zhang's treachery, and prepared for his attack.

He dodged Zhang's dagger, and countered with a wicked blast of magic. This struck Zhang in the chest, and  sent him flying across the room. Omar said,

"You are the fool, Zhang."

A fool to betray me, and a fool to underestimate me. You have failed, Zhang. By the gods you have failed your master, and your own pitiful self.

"And now, you will pay!"

Bruce: "Okay, Wong,

I have given you a chance to back down from your foolish challenge and save face. But now, you have aroused my deepest anger and offended my honor.

"So, you must die!"

Wong: "Ah... Hah!" You are no match for me little grasshopper! And powerfully kicks Bruce upside the head with a Crouching Tiger martial arts blow. This sends him slamming to the ground.
