Meilin, a rising Esports player, finds herself bound to the deadly Astaran demon king, Deming, with whom she is prophesied to destroy the Fairy Realm. But her heart belongs to her charming teammate, Ningshun, a man with an equally inevitable fate...
Matian Meilin is an 18-year-old girl with a passion for gaming and a very well-known figure in the Esports community. One day, her life takes a turn when a handsome tyrant, Feng Deming, the ruler of the Astaran realm, enters her world. Initially assuming him to be another Prince Charming, Meilin quickly realizes that Deming is anything but charming and the last person she wants to be acquainted with. "Silly Little Human, as much as I despise it, I'm stuck with you," Deming sneers. Meilin fires back, "Stuck with me? I'M stuck with you!"
As they face various obstacles, Deming finds himself drawn to Meilin, ultimately falling deeply in love with her, despite being aware of the potential separation that comes with the mission of fulfilling his destiny to overthrow the 'gods' and conquer all realms upon his return.
However, Meilin's heart already belongs to another man with an equally intriguing background. Ningshun, the attractive leader of her Esports team, has a charming personality and flirty humor that easily sway her, making her yearn for something more between them. But he's a man of many mysteries, and his hidden side carries a risky secret.
Why do Deming and Meilin need each other? Is this truly Meilin's first otherworldly encounter? And what secrets does Ningshun have about his connection to Meilin?

Suddenly, I could see bright white lights creeping quickly towards me, so quick that I could only see what it was right before the impact. My weak body was no match for the large transportation bus that would not let anything slow down its path. My body shot away from where I had previously knelt and it felt as if my soul had been left behind, but I knew very well that it hadn't. I wished it had left, at least then I would not have felt every bone in my body fracturing into tiny pieces. In that cold weather, I began to warm up from the blood that seeped out from unknown parts of my body like it had to get somewhere.
That situation seemed ironic in a way. I was the woman who needed saving, but still no handsome man, or person at all, had pulled me out of the agony that I was in. It was nothing like the novels I had read, or maybe it was because I wasn't pretty that no one saved me.
In that moment of sorrow, still I was angry. Not angry at myself, but upset that I could not read the final chapter of that novel. As I took in my last breath, I murmured my final words, "Now who is going to tell me what happens in the final floor?"
