The following story contains real events that I've personally experienced or seen happen. Each Issue contains a real event that has been altered a bit for privacy reasons and to add depth to the story. Certain Issues might be written by @Nora13, @lishyyy<3 and others, (the writer will be mentioned on the Issue) so not all credit goes to me.

Life is collectively referred to as a dark fantasy, although many of us attempt incorporating ideas in our head, searching for ways to escape reality. I for one believe anything that can befriend you, can kill.

Every creature has a dark side but mine doesn't have my best interests at heart, I mumble short prayers, locking all the doors and windows shut.

Every step I took upstairs, made the wooden stairs creek, I keep having this feeling am been followed but every time I look back, am left with goosebumps and my head increasing in size.

I swallowed an imaginary saliva down my throat and continue walking up slowly otherwise I will freak out and run upstairs, that will mess up my night.

If you know anything about darkness, you'll know it leaves no room for the weakest heart. This foreign presence happens whenever am home alone, I made a research on the life beyond and discovered that the level of one's fear determines how far we're willing to let the darkness in.

I gently crawl under the duvet and sleep on my right side facing the door, my heartbeat was accelerating, you could hear every beat of it. 2,3,4 minutes later, the gruesome feeling was gone and I accidentally took a nap that lasted for two minutes until my ears picked a creaking footstep 👣 approaching in the direction of my room, dragging a metal object on the wall,  I froze on the bed.

I searched for my phone under the duvet and my eyes found it far on the table which was close to the door, this wasn't a normal circumstance so,  my mind is blank.

"Do you wanna play", the voice said, sounding distant but very  near. That was when I remembered all the short phrases used in horror movies, I stupidly find myself screaming them one by one.

Is anyone out there?

"Who the hell are you?"

Show yourself coward.

"What do you want from me?"

The noise died down and just when I thought it's over, the door to my room was kicked open with full force.

Every year, the Lady chooses one of us to commune with. If this unfortunate person succeeds at pleasing her, she blesses the harvest and we have food for the year. If they fail to please her, she curses the harvest and we starve.

The nobles are the only ones allowed to use magic. They have their own magical traditions. They live in luxurious castles, keeping commoners as their unfortunate servants. Most of us commoners eke out a meagre living in our villages. But the forest, the mountains, the hills, they call to us and share with us their magic. And we learn the magic of the wild lands and of the commoners, and we teach each other the magic we know.

Şeyma and Utku were experts in the field of archaeology, driven by curiosity and excitement as they ventured towards the ancient burial ground. The mysterious symbols and carvings among the tombstones further piqued Şeyma’s curiosity, while also fueling her fear. The air danced with the rustling of leaves, carrying the silent whisper of death. In the distance, the murmur of sandy dust and the howl of the wind transformed into an eerie silence, heralding the beginning of a nightmare. It was as if all of nature had sensed the impending doom, holding its breath and awaiting its fate. This moment was sheer terror; one where you’d want to flee, yet be unable to move. Şeyma and Utku stepped into the depths of a dark and mysterious cemetery, entering a labyrinth filled with ancient inscriptions. Utku scanned the interior carefully, while Şeyma attempted to decipher the enigmatic writings on a massive tomb. The writings seemed to be from a superhuman entity, as if written in a language from another dimension. Şeyma began to read the writings with trembling hands, feeling a mixture of fear and curiosity. The writings narrated the chilling wars of demons and jinn, the annihilation of human souls, and the silence of the gods. The words, written in strange languages, created a mysterious enigma that confused Şeyma’s mind. As she pieced together the shattered stones, she read the words describing rituals for summoning demons and jinn. Suddenly, Şeyma’s hand was grasped by an unfamiliar force. A shock passed through her body, and her heart began to race. Turning around, expecting Utku’s touch, she found him standing behind, gazing into the depths of the labyrinth. Şeyma whispered, her voice trembling, “Utku...” At that moment, time seemed to stand still. Şeyma felt a withered, humanoid hand grasp her own. This touch signified the presence of a demon. Shaking with fear and horror, Şeyma began to scream, her sobs turning into hiccups. The cold, icy air froze her tears, creating a terrifying scene. Şeyma’s screams echoed through the dark corridors of the labyrinth, piercing Utku’s ears. Utku immediately rushed to Şeyma’s side, asking with a worried voice, “Şeyma, what’s wrong? Why are you screaming like that?” Şeyma, her eyes shining with terror, pointed at the demon with her trembling hands. Utku, faced with his friend’s horrifying state, was left frozen, a mixture of shock and fear reflected on his face. Şeyma tried to explain the terror she had experienced. Utku, though struggling to believe it, had to accept the reality of the experience. Utku placed his hand on Şeyma’s shoulder and said, “Calm down...” As Şeyma attempted to convey her traumatic experience, Utku’s worry grew. With a trembling voice, he asked, “How can you explain this, Şeyma? Is this demon really here?” Şeyma nodded helplessly, saying, “Yes, I felt it. It held my hand, it was real...” Her tears flowed down her cheeks, freezing as they fell. Utku tried to comfort his friend, but he too was faced with a terrifying reality. The presence of the demon was felt among the graves. Was this a nightmare or a reality? The duo realized they were confronted with an unknown power in the depths of the dark cemetery, caught between fear and curiosity. Deciding to return home, the pair tried to make their way back through the labyrinth in silence. Şeyma’s mind was preoccupied with the terrifying experience she had endured. Was it real or just a dream? This question continuously circled in her mind. Şeyma and Utku struggled to escape from the dark and mysterious labyrinth of the cemetery. They wanted to go home, but the paths kept leading them back into the labyrinth. No matter how hard they tried, every exit led them back into the maze. Tiredness and fear enveloped them. They felt that escape was now impossible. With one last effort, they tried to get out of the labyrinth, but they found themselves back inside once again. Their eyes closed, and fatigue was taking over. They dozed off for a moment, and when they opened their eyes, they found themselves inside an ancient tomb. Soil was slowly being poured onto the tomb, beginning to cover them. Şeyma and Utku were horrified. The presence of demons and jinn held them captive within the tomb. Terrifying insects had taken Şeyma and Utku as prisoners inside the tomb. Utku tried to wake Şeyma with his trembling voice, but Şeyma, consumed by fear and exhaustion, couldn’t open her eyes. The soil was slowly creeping up on them. The tomb’s walls were pressing against them, making it difficult to breathe. Şeyma and Utku struggled helplessly, their eyes burning with terror. In a final desperate move, Şeyma and Utku clung to each other. Breathing was becoming increasingly difficult, and the soil was swallowing them up. They tried to scream, but their voices were weak and muffled whispers. The soil covered their bodies, completely cutting off their ability to breathe. Now, as they tried to breathe, they were swallowing the soil. In their final moments, Şeyma and Utku’s nails scratched the tomb’s walls. Eventually, the soil consumed them entirely. Their breathing stopped, and their bodies lay motionless. Silence reigned within the tomb, as the curse of the demons and jinn left them trapped in the darkness. Şeyma and Utku had lost their lives, suffocating under the soil. The power of the curse had held them captive within the tomb, cutting off their breath. Now, under the shadow of fear and the curse, they had descended into an eternal slumber. Outside the tomb, silence and darkness prevailed. The presence of demons and jinn circulated around the grave, maintaining the power of the curse. A kind of cursed cloud rose from the soil on top of the tomb. Şeyma and Utku’s bodies began to decay slowly beneath the soil. Insects and worms roamed around them. The tomb had become a kind of cursed grave. Over time, a kind of cursed aura formed over the tomb. The grave frightened and repelled visitors. The power of the curse continued to hold sway, as if trapped within the tomb. The story of Şeyma and Utku tells of the terrifying power of a curse and the end of two brave souls. Within the tomb, beneath the soil, their spirits remained under the curse’s captivity. This tale strikes fear into the hearts of its readers and serves as a reminder of the terrifying power of demons and jinn’s curse. Şeyma and Utku’s final moments reflect the grim fate of those who struggle against the power of a curse. Within the tomb, beneath the soil, Şeyma and Utku’s spirits would remain under the curse’s captivity forever. The power of the curse had left them trapped in the darkness of the tomb, and now only their memories and terrifying tale remained...

This is my letter I wrote to the Canadian government asking them to send troops to Ukraine in order to help the Ukrainian people as they fight for freedom.
