“Honey, we have been floating aimlessly for days we must get our plan together and take action. Kai wouldn’t want you being the way you have been recently, plus the others are getting restless,” Eileen whispered again.

This time with a more subtle groan, Leon leaned back and stretched his arms out before wiping the remaining drool from his mouth. Five days they had been floating throughout the expanse South as they tried to find any hint of information that Kai might have left behind for a next step in regard to their future as a Faction.
In that time, nothing has been achieved, just frustration and hopelessness that everything that had been obtained had been for naught all due to Kai being captured. Leons’ stress was at an all-time high as his new position had been weighing on his shoulders to decide on what to do next, and his indecisiveness was winning, nonetheless.
“I just don’t know what to do, I’m sure the Dusk Alliance as a whole is on its’ way to us at this moment even, Kai is captured or killed, and we have no goal at this moment on how to go on. I thought I could do this, that I could have the mindset he has, but I have to admit to everyone that I do not,” Leon stated suddenly.

“That’s not true, those of us that still believe in our journey are just awaiting your orders. That is all,” Eileen began as she grabbed onto Leons’ hand, holding it tightly to her breasts. “You know that I would follow you to the end of the Expanse and back. You are just as strong, if not stronger, than your brother. You guys have been from the worst to proving to the whole world that you can accomplish anything. Please, Leon Gisada, do not give up on these people that have given their all for you guys already. Show them that this Faction, this Forever Journey is for life. Live or die, we go out on our shield. Show them the brilliant and brave individual that I fell in love with, and I’m sure they will follow.”

Once done, Leon stared mesmerized at the woman that stood next to him. She had truly followed him from nobody all the way to where they are now. She stood by and never questioned not once their goal or their direction, all she did was go with him to the destination.

“I love you Eileen, thank you for that. I still don’t know where to start though nonetheless...” Leons’ words trailed as something came to his mind.
Quickly he stood and began to move papers from on top of the desk and scrolls from inside of it even, seemingly searching for something specific.
“What is it?” Eileen asked while beginning to look through some of the papers as well.

“A list, it was almost delusional, but I think it actually might have been something. I didn’t think of it until now but,” Leon spoke as he found what he was looking for and held it up. “Kai and I used to leave coded letters for each other when we roamed the floaters in Catarei and we couldn’t meet up in time. That way others didn’t know where we would be staying, and they couldn’t hit our stashes.”

Moving the rest of the papers and items aside on the desk to where he had a clear working area, he pulled out an ink pen and began to circle every other letter in each word starting with the second letter. Eventually Leon wrote on the bottom of it the same page what seemed to be a list.

“I knew this letter to Miss Kira, I just had a feeling it could’ve been for something else as well,” Leon said with a hint of sadness dwelling in his voice.

Quickly Eileen smiled and followed Leon out of the room and down some stairs until they came out to the deck where everyone was waiting lazily. At the sight of Leon, all stood slowly, awaiting the news that was to come.

“I understand, you guys are upset. You left any chance at freedom or what freedom you could have at all to partake in this Forever Journey,” Leon began. Aida, Dulgit, and Hawk moved through the crowd to the front at this point. “I have been... hopeless. I won’t lie to all of you, I wasn’t sure where to go from here. Thanks to Eileen, and the rest of you for not giving up, I have figured out Kais’ original plan.”
