A/N- mention of abuse
Nick pov *gasp* whaaat?
"Bye Nick" Rose said to me as she got out the car.
I watched her walk up to her door and go inside. She was so adorable. I'm such an idiot for almost taking it too far. I sighed and started up my car. I glanced over to her house one more time, when I noticed her purse was left on the seat. I chuckled. I decided it wasn't too late to go give it back. I turned off the car, grabbed her purse and got out the car. I was walking up to the front door when I heard some weird noises. As I got closer I could hear some yelling too. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.
"Rose!? Are you okay in there!?" I yelled asking her. I heard some more yelling and something must have fallen over because I heard a loud crash. I decided to just open the door, and see if it was unlocked. Turns out it was.
"I'M S-SORRY! IT WONT H-HAPPRN AGAIN. Please let me go" I heard someone cry as I walked in to see what was happening. It sounded like Rose. I quickly ran in to where I heard her screams.
"I Knew you were a slut! Who'd you fuck this time huh!?"
After the women's voice said that I heard more screams coming from what sounded like Rose. I ran in the kitchen and saw something horrible.
"HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE. WHAT ARE DOING!?" I yelled to the woman who was burning Rose's arms.
The women quickly dropped her arms and looked at me.
"Who the fuck are you? Why are in my house!? I'm gonna call the cops! Get out now!" The women yelled.
" Oh yeah!? Well I guess we'll see what they do to you when they check out Rose's arms huh?" I told her back.
" Fine. Take the brat. I couldn't care less what happens to her. I just hope I never see her again. If I do she'll be in trouble then!" The women yelled at me and then walked in another room.
I ran over to Rose who was now on the floor crying and holding her arms in pain. I hugged her and told everything was going to be okay now.
"Rose come on. Let's go grab your things. I'm taking you with me okay?" I told her while wiping her tears off her face.
She looked so upset and in so much pain. I wonder how long this has been happening to her. She never seemed to act like anything was wrong whenever I saw her around. She stood up whimpering and led me upstairs to her room.

"Where's your clothes and some other things you might need? You're going to stay with me now" I told her.
She walked over to her dresser and started grabbing things. I quickly stopped her, and told her that I would do it. I was pulling her clothes out of the dresser, when she handed me a bag to put her clothes in. After that, she grabbed some things from the bathroom and a few books. I put them in the bag for her. When it seemed like she had everything I gently grabbed her hand and led her outside to my car. I quickly put her things in the back of the car and then walked over to her. I put my hands on her cheeks and wiped her tears away again.
"It's okay now rose" I whispered to her. " I got you now. You're okay"
I hugged her to my body. Her face was in my neck and my hands were in her hair trying to calm her down. I felt her arms wrap around my waist giving me a hug back. After a few minutes of hugging I opened the door to my car and let her get in. I walked over to my side and started the car. I turned the radio on to listen to music because I'm pretty sure she wasn't ready to talk yet.
The drive to my apartment was silent except for the music in the background. I glanced at her every now and then to make sure she was okay. She just kept her yes focused outside the window. I reached one hand over to grab hers soflty. I rubbed my thumb over the top of her hand and then squeezed it gently. I felt her squeeze back. A few minutes later we arrived at my apartment. I turned off the car and grabbed her things out of the back. I walked over to her side and helped her out of the car. I laced our fingers together and walked up to my apartment door. I unlocked it and we went inside. I put her things down in my room and walked her to the bathroom.
"Sit here Rose. I'll wrap your arm" I told her. She didn't say anything, but sat down on the counter by the sink.
I grabbed some gauze wrap and turned the sink on. I tested the water and it was a good temperature. I then gently grabbed the arm that was burned and put it under the cool water. After 5 minutes I took her arm out and put some moisturiser on her arm. Then I wrapped the bandage around her arm and she was good to go. I saw she was looking at the ground. I walked in between her legs and lifted her chin up so she was looking at me.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I whispered. She shook her head no. I leaned my head on her's so our foreheads were touching.
"Okay. I'm here whenever your ready" I told her softly. I put one hand on her cheek and rubbed my thumb softly on her cheek bone.
"Let's go to bed, yeah? You can sleep on the bed. I'll go sleep on the couch" I said helping her down from the countertop.
I walked her into my room and showed her where I put her bag. I then showed her the bathroom that was connected to my room.
"If you need anything let me know okay" I said rubbing her hand and then letting go. "Goodnight Rose"
She walked into the bathroom with her bag probably putting on her pajamas. I walked over to my dresser and grabbed a pair of sweat pants. I then went into my closet and grabbed a blanket for myself. I was almost out of the room when I heard my name being soflty called. I turned around and saw Rose in her pajamas. She walked over to me and reached for my hand.
"Can you...can you stay with me tonight?" She said quietly.
" Sure. Anything you need" I said bringing her hand to my lips and kissing it. "Let me get changed and then we can sleep"
I walked into the bathroom and and took off my shirt and then my pants. I put my sweatpants on and put my other clothes in a basket. I walked back in the room to see rose already in the bed. I walked to the other side and got in the blankets.
"Goodnight Rose" I whispered to her.
"Goodnight Nick" I heard her whisper back.
