In the middle of the week, Eric and Charles had a little meeting in a café. They were planning about their trip. Suddenly Freesia entered the café with other girl. A short pale haired girl in long grey coat hiding behind her back. Freesia told her to introduce herself. Her name is Daisy, she is about a year younger than Freesia. Freesia told Eric and Charles that she would join the trip too, Eric argued that the trip may be too hard for her judging from her appearance. Freesia replied that she would take her to the trip herself, because she thought that Daisy is too relaxed. “Not that relaxed “the cute high pinch came out from Daisy mouth. Everyone was laughing and Daisy start to make a sad face like she was going to cry. Suddenly Freesia start patting on Daisy head and smiling at her. Daisy reaction start to change, she smiled back to Freesia.
They were talking for a moment until Charles noticed Daisy necklace. a shining silvery necklace was carved into aquatic creature with large aquamarine in its mouth. The aquamarine’s shining light almost blinded Charles. He asked Daisy what is the necklace and where did she get it from. Daisy said that this necklace was passed through her family since the ancient time, she also said that her aunt told her that this is talisman. Charles was so surprised, he thought he might have seen that necklace before and insist the group to talk to Daisy’s parents about the necklace to full fill his curiosity. Of course Charles didn’t tell his true purpose to the group, but everyone seemed to thought the same, especially Daisy who is now very confuse because Freesia asked her to join the trip without telling about the news.
Later that day the group visited Daisy house. The house itself was very large, a large stair and tons for rooms almost feel like it is nothing. Eric and Charles visited many rooms while waiting for Daisy’s parents. They were talking about their feeling. “We are longtime friend right, Charles?” asked Eric. “Yes” Charles replied while walking along side with Eric. “I gonna be honest with you so, please honest with me, okay?” Eric said. “What is it, Eric?” asked Charles. “Are you afraid?” asked Eric with his non-emotional face, but can easily know that he was not very pleased with Charles. “Yes, I am worried” said Charles while bowing his head down. Eric start shouting at Charles, but his word nearly had no meaning, because it was reminded him about Freesia’s word and he couldn’t found anything worse than that in this meantime. Eric kept complaining at Charles until he was done. “So what” shouted Charles, his sound was echoed nearly entire house. “Is it so wrong for me to worry” shouted Charles. Right now both Charles and Eric were so stressed. “I just want you to have fun” said Eric before he walked away. Charles stand still unmoving like he was paralyzed. He was so confused “Am I right?”, “Is Eric right? Or he just going to ruin things again?” these were questions that were in Charles mind right now. Charles stand still until Daisy came in and told him that her parents had come.
They were meeting in the living room. Daisy introduced her parents, Mister and Misses Goodname, which were her aunt and uncle. They started the conversation by asked them about Daisy’s necklace. They replied back as the necklace was passed through the family like Daisy said early that day, but this time they told them the origin of the necklace. They said that the necklace didn’t belongs their ancestors, but instead belongs the chief of the ancient tribe, according to the legend the chief create the necklace as the talisman. It brought victory to the tribe in every battle, but the glories day did not last long. In the fateful night while the chief was on his journey through the Ocean. He and his crew were attacked by mysterious foe who came from the water. Nearly entire ship was killed. In the last moment the chief gave his best friend a necklace before pushed him into a raft. The chief was killed that night. When the necklace returned to the tribe, it lose its magic. Their glory had come to an end.
The room was silence, nobody speak for a while until Charles asked about the place where the attack happened. Misses Goodname replied without a doubt Sea of the Dead region. Eric smiled while gazed upon Charles face, but this time he was surprised by Charles’s calm face. Eric start to argued that there was no prove to show that Daisy’s necklace was the same one in the legend. Misses Goodname start to get mad by Eric’s speech, but Mister Goodname didn’t, he told Eric that the aquamarine in the necklace will insanely shiny when contact with sunset light. Eric didn’t believe at first, but he would try it out. After finished talking to Daisy’s parents Eric asked Charles and Freesia how they thought about the story. Freesia said she was interested in the story, same as Charles. Eric said that he was so exciting, he can’t wait for trip. Everybody was smiled not knowing what would come next.
