They all turned to the door. There he was. Standing tall. The wound he had sustained from the ghoul had healed, leaving behind a scar. However, aside that all the others wound had healed. Rick was alive and kicking.
‘Why do you declare me dead?’, Rick demanded.

The ghoul had buried his fangs in ghoul. Everything had turned black around his eyes, though the pain had brought him back. The other ghoul stood tall and looked down on Rick.
‘Seems like that’s it. I should take care of the others!’ So the ghoul turned around and ascended the stairs. That’s when Rick’s body started shuddering. The infection was spreading. And before he knew a man was speaking to him. (Voice in Rick’s mind: Finally I can possess someone and then the person looks that wrecked! And he’s an immune one!)
‘An immune one?’, Rick repeated, groaning under the pain. His body was numb and emptied of its energy, clinging to live like an old warrior to his weapon. (Voice in Rick’s head: Yes. Well, let’s make it short because you’re dying! I always hated demons and angels and was fascinated by humans. Let’s work together! Let’s enter a contract) (Rick: Why should I?) (Voice in Rick’s head: Well, it’s better for you, I guess. The immune ones from these days are not what they used to be once! Even if at first they can access the power of a demon or angels, with the time the demon or angels slowly takes over or he can resist, tearing apart the soul of the vessel! The short one!) (Rick: What’s your name?) (Voice in Rick’s mind: Call me Zahira)
Just then the voice of Zahira that had been neutral up till now turned to that of a female. And before Rick knew his wounds were slowly healing and the ghoul to his side had dried out. (Zahira: I control sand and I am a Noble!) ‘A Noble?’ (Zahira: Yes! It’s the third highest rank an angel or demon can have. You should be happy you got paired up with someone like me, hahaha!) ‘I’ll see myself!’, Rick grunted. (Zahira: Seems like I got a serios person. Lighten the mood a little bit!) ‘I have other worries now!’
The herd of ghouls were near but just then the attack of Nade and Angelica clashed and wrecked the whole level. Zahira commanded Rick and before he knew he had placed both hands on the floor. Sand spread from his palm towards the level where the attack had met. There it formed columns which connected to the walls to give back the building its stability. At the same time the whole level below Rick had been blocked off. No ghoul, at least no normal one would easily pass it.

When the smoke had cleared Angelica and Nade viewed the immense sand columns. Then they each gated at each other , looking for clues. After some seconds Angelica concluded:
‘Seems like that person does not belong to you!’
‘And neither to you!’, Nade replied. His breathing was unstable, his heart beating fast and strong. It felt like it could explode any moment. However, his Nade’s task was not done. And so he advanced. His walking turned to a jogging and then to a dash. In his sprint ice spikes formed around him. Angelica responded with a dash on her part, energy ball forming around her in the process.

The ghoul had soon reached the roof when he suddenly felt an immense presence behind him. Of course, he turned to have a look. However, the only thing he saw and definitely felt were the sand spears penetrating his body. Only then Rick came in sight and uttered:
‘I said there would be. No future for you!’ The ghoul dropped to his legs. This attack had taken him by surprise and he had no way to recover from it, even less due to the sand spears that were sucking him dry. No sparing him another glance Rick strolled past him towards the exit. That’s when he heard Emilia yelling:
‘Rick you idiot now I have to deal alone with this!’ With a wide grin, Rick stepped out and replied:
‘What do you mean? I am here!’ Everyone was happy to see him, everyone but the man who didn’t waste time and launched at Rick. Rick himself didn’t lose time and shot forth. Both men launched a fist. Only that the fist of Rick got covered in an abundance of sand that molded to a giant fist. The fist slammed into the man and sent him flying. He plunged over the cliff and as his shrieking got farther Rick hurried to Emilia. Further below Nade had once again clashed with Angelica and their attack destroyed most of the columns Rick had set up. The building lost its balance and slowly tipper over to the right
If this had been the only problems, Rick could have quickly taken care of them. However, when he heard the roar of a beast he knew more was coming. The same man who had received his fist came crashing down from the heaven. Underneath him cracks spread everywhere. This roof was nearing its end. The man had bulked up, his nails grown to crawls and his teeth to fangs. His smell was worse than that of a beast and his deep voice overlapped as he proclaimed:
