The King simply observed the scene.17Please respect copyright.PENANALYNZbuq2rU
The Queen stepped forward—and Seraphina rose into the air, hovering toward her. She stopped a few meters away. That’s when it began.
Her arm twisted unnaturally. Bones cracked. Skin tore.
"Arhhhhhhhh!"17Please respect copyright.PENANAljBLzgsaoF
Seraphina bit her lip, forcing the scream back. Eyes clenched shut, holding back tears. Then came the other arm. Slower. Crueler. The group behind them could only watch—helpless. Even Nade and Rick couldn’t summon ice or sand.
After her arms came her fingers—each one breaking, one by one.
Inside the White House
Sarah reached the secure room. She slammed the door open and ran to the lone computer inside. No hesitation—she sat down and started typing.
Somewhere else
"Larah, please calm down!"
"I am calm, Dean! The calmest I’ve ever been. That’s how I realized this world must burn."
"What do you mean? You want to kill everyone?"
"No. We will. You’re with me, right? Together—as a couple!"
"Wait, what? Why would we kill everyone? What would that even accomplish? This doesn’t make any sense!"
"It makes perfect sense. This world has always been shit. Yes, ghouls and demons appeared—but humans? Some of them are worse. Worse than monsters. I still had hope that one day, justice would come. That the good people would get a happy ending. But look at her!"17Please respect copyright.PENANAlctEE8Pzpp
Larah pointed at Hope.17Please respect copyright.PENANAfQCTQemumk
"She was just born. Innocent. And she still suffered!"
"And that’s why you want to kill everyone? How?"
"You’re right. Killing them myself would take too long. Let the bombs decide!"
"What are you talking about?"
"I can hear everything. The thoughts of everyone in this world. And trust me, after hearing it all—I know humanity deserves to be destroyed. I know where Sarah is. I’ll find her. And I’ll kill her!"
"Why?!"
"She wants to stop the bombs. I can’t let her."
Larah put Hope down and headed for the door. Dean stood in her way.
"Larah... I understand your pain. But I can’t let you leave."
"I see."17Please respect copyright.PENANAvpPdErYZc6
She smiled coldly.17Please respect copyright.PENANABGii5aqsTe
"Then you’ll be the first to die."
Outside
Seraphina’s hands were ruined—arms broken in the ugliest way. Her body hung limp in the air, barely conscious. She had no more tears left to cry. Her eyes kept fluttering open from the pain.17Please respect copyright.PENANAYwdILG2Ps4
(Seraphina: Where are you, idiot?)
"Seems like you won’t speak no matter what I do," the Queen said.17Please respect copyright.PENANARt8svTgQjD
"Then I’ll just snap your neck."
Above them, a gate opened—and something dropped.
Temphael’s head.
Everyone stared at it, stunned. No one noticed Abbadon, who emerged behind the Queen.
Only the King reacted—he surged forward. Abbadon kicked the Queen toward him and slashed the air, launching a demonic blade. The King blocked it with his arm—it sliced through his power, digging a deep wound.
Abbadon dashed forward and caught Seraphina as she fell.
"You’re late, idiot!" she muttered.
Abbadon looked down at her mangled body. Rage filled him. “Anger” wouldn’t even come close. With the King and Queen behind him, he walked to the others—handed Seraphina to them—then turned back.
"I don’t care what happens to the world today. Let it burn. I don’t care."17Please respect copyright.PENANAX9DaeRKTuH
His blade pointed at the Queen.17Please respect copyright.PENANAQLm7HMnoKk
"But you—you’re getting a good beating."
"Try me," the Queen hissed, golden light bursting from her body.
From the King, a dark violet light.
For the first time, he spoke:17Please respect copyright.PENANA56JneSS9QE
"You may be a King Candidate—but even one of us is too much. Now face both."
"Shut up, you bastard King."17Please respect copyright.PENANAZ3GqyrTZnr
He raised his arms.17Please respect copyright.PENANA9xq9qZQ8Ac
"Come at me, both of you."
Inside the White House
Sarah had only one option left—reroute the nukes.17Please respect copyright.PENANA634UawLpkv
They had already been launched.
"Fuck! Fuck!"
Somewhere else in the White House
Voltra removed his cloak.
Underneath: green military pants, black boots, a tight black shirt. He was massive—muscle stacked on muscle.
"I always wanted to fight the Warlord."
"You know me?"
"You turned black, but I could never forget you. Don’t disappoint me."
Lightning roared through his body—blasting in every direction.
He lunged.
Fast. So fast Dae only realized he’d been hit when a fist slammed into his ribs. A kick followed—Dae flew backward. Voltra appeared again. Thunder built in his palm, formed a spear, and hurled it. It pierced Dae and slammed him into the floor.
Smoke cleared.
Dae stood—barely. Breathing was hard. Blood clogged his throat. The spear was gone—but it had left a massive hole in his stomach. He fought to stay conscious.
"Disappointing."
Voltra struck again. He aimed a killing thrust—but Dae ducked, then formed a fist.
With all his strength, he smashed Voltra into the ground.17Please respect copyright.PENANAtAdKlPjGrF
BAAAAM!17Please respect copyright.PENANAMXvwjoczbZ
The floor cracked wide.
"Who’s disappointing now?"
Thunder crackled overhead. Dae braced—but it wasn’t aimed at him.
Voltra absorbed the lightning. His skin glowed. He turned to thunder itself.
"I take it back, Warlord. Round two!"
He was pure electricity—faster than sight. Dae, knowing he couldn’t keep up, shielded himself in demonic energy. The thunder obliterated the barrier—but it slowed Voltra just enough.
Dae dodged.
He grabbed Voltra’s wrist—but the lightning surged through him, paralyzing him briefly. It was enough. Voltra landed ten lightning-fast blows. Orbs of light formed and turned into spears—impaling Dae.
"I think I know where your powers come from," Voltra said.17Please respect copyright.PENANAQzuvOzG1ta
"Your father. They say he’s immortal. That would explain the regeneration."17Please respect copyright.PENANAocvpCYXZK4
He grinned.17Please respect copyright.PENANAkdWH6DCA0D
"Well—there’s always a way to kill someone like you."17Please respect copyright.PENANA7GFrsOVZrY
