"YOU'RE THE ONLY PIECE OF SHIT HERE!" Kyra yelled, a ferocious undertone to her words, but Evan could see the tremor in her hands, her façade of bravery cracking under the fear's weight.
"Shhhh!" Evan hissed, fear clawing at him as he pressed a finger to his lips. They were already trapped, and he needed to keep them both quiet.
"What? They already know we're here? We're fucked!" Panic bubbled in Kyra's voice, and Evan could feel his own resolve teetering.
His mind raced, a thousand thoughts colliding. He looked at Kyra, noticing the way her breath quickened and her shoulders shook. He had to act fast. There was only one option left. "We have to teleport."
Kyra shot him a sharp glance, skepticism etched on her face. "Have you done it before?"
"No, this would be the first time," he admitted, anxiety tightening its grip on his throat.
"What if it doesn't go right? Like when you first gained your power? What if we teleport and end up-" She hesitated, voice trembling, "-like, when we land, we have no skin or some crazy shit?"
"Skin will grow back," he replied, trying to keep his tone steady, but the fear of failure loomed larger than ever. "I have a feeling he has something worse in mind than skinning us alive."
"BUT I LIKE MY SKIN!" Kyra cried, her words spilling out in a rush of panic, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
"Babe." Evan stepped closer, gripping her shoulders, grounding her amidst the chaos. "Do you remember when I promised you I'd keep you safe?"
"Y..." yes." Her eyes searched his, flickering between doubt and trust.
"When I said that, I meant it." He leaned closer, his voice firm and unwavering. "I won't let anything happen to you. You have to trust me on this. This is the only way."

Looking around the room, he comes across Kyra and evans blueprints
"Robot buddy? The fuck are these two up to?" collecting the scattered blueprints as one of his agents walks in the door he handed to him. "Take these and look them over. We need to see where their mind is. And we need to get to these two as soon as possible before our friends arrive."
As the dust settled around Agent Clark, the door's reverberation still echoing in his ears, the front desk lady strode into the room, her hair a wild mess and her name tag reading "Gertie." She looked at the bullet holes and raised an eyebrow, her tone surprisingly serious.
"Did it really have to come to this? You were so mad that he didn't leave you any cake that You turned my hotel into a scene from an action movie," she said, hands on her hips.
Clark turned to her, his patience wearing thin. "This isn't a joke, Gertie. Do you have any idea what just happened here?"
"You think I don't know?" Gertie replied, crossing her arms. "I can practically smell the trouble from the front desk. And you just gave me some new decor for the room!"
"That's the least of your worries," Clark shot back, his voice low but firm as he collected the blueprints scattered on the floor.
"Why were you allowing fugitives in your hotel? Aren't you supposed to run IDs?" he pressed, his irritation rising.
Gertie's expression shifted slightly. "Well, Evan caught me off guard when he checked in! I thought he was just another handsome underwear model looking for an upgrade. Who could've guessed I was giving room keys to the wrong kind of 'guests'?"
Clark sighed, shaking his head. "Well, that's too bad. Because the two of them are wanted for arson, aggravated assault, and possession of illegal substances with intent to manufacture."
Gertie stood there for a moment, shock washing over her face as she processed his words. "So, you're saying my hotel is a haven for criminals now?"

Clark couldn't help but chuckle. "I think i can do that- now just focus on covering those bullet holes."
"Deal! Just make sure you tell your men to stay out of my way while I'm working. Last thing I need is them turning my front desk into a crime scene!" Gertie replied, moving toward the supplies with a determined look, the chaos slowly fading behind her unwavering, humorous spirit.

"Look, babe. I think you need to get more comfortable with your powers. Sure, there've been moments when you've done wild things in the thick of it, but this is just chilling, you know? "Cosmic superintelligence, the ability to transform, indestructible, with some kind of personality, and a screen on its chest?" he recounted, his expression shifting back to determination.
"Don't forget 'cute'," she reminded him with a playful smirk.
"Cute, right," he echoed, a giggle escaping his lips.
"I think we should get that done ASAP. Those guys will be looking for us, and you're going to need your powers more."
As the smoke curled slowly toward the ceiling, Evan nodded, his mind already racing ahead. "Okay, so let's focus on refining the concept. We need to make sure Robot Buddy stands out.
