"Are you sure this is going to work?"134Please respect copyright.PENANAyNFvTQWvXM
"No"134Please respect copyright.PENANAGrOfLAAxNM
"Wonderful." Opening the door, the two teens-really kids, both barely fourteen-stepped inside. "Just putting my faith into an old haunted house and a few fancy candles."134Please respect copyright.PENANAA7geUezIuh
"It's more than that." They stepped into the foyer of a house that hasn't been renovated in, seventy years? Sixty maybe? The newspapers about the murders here were always cryptic and brief. The two didn't know how long its been since a family lived here. Clearly people have, the trash in the corners and graffiti on the walls said so.134Please respect copyright.PENANA3QCUFxFtCY
"Is it really?" The other retorted, "You have so much hope in this-"134Please respect copyright.PENANAujiXzdPxvd
"And you have none"134Please respect copyright.PENANAY7FPR738KV
"Because a little crystal isn't going to solve this"134Please respect copyright.PENANAo23zYM30ID
Before either spoke again, the two started walking towards the graffiti-infested kitchen, "It doesn't look like your precious science worked on this one" The kitchen was littered with trash and some crude anatomy parts drawn onto the walls. 134Please respect copyright.PENANAkoWwLV4MIJ
"This house was once beautiful. I wish it was still" One looked through the trash and debris, their deep blue eyes melting into the dirty marine wallpaper behind them.134Please respect copyright.PENANAWS62ekbDcP
"No need to look at beauty that once was, poet" Then walked through the kitchen to find a small closet with a rickety old staircase of rotting wood greeting them.134Please respect copyright.PENANAbqhGKvnk0V
"Why would i do that when i can look at beauty that is ever so present? Witch." The poet responded more kind and quiet than the tone of their banter. Their blue gaze fixed on the back of the Witches head, even though it was hard to see, considering The Witch was out of the dirty kitchen window's light. It was dark in the house, even though the sun had just risen. And where the Witch was walking to was even darker.134Please respect copyright.PENANAyvsKoP4zcE
"Care to follow me? We have things to do" The Witch started up the staircase, and The poet followed. 134Please respect copyright.PENANAQeBaaVTNMf
"Any thoughts, concerns, or poetry to share?" The Witch continued up the staircase, which was long, but considering it went to the fourth floor-the attic- it wasnt suprising.134Please respect copyright.PENANAUah3HpbD7D
"Plenty of concerns" The poet didn't add more. Considering they were thinking about those pretty blue eyes the Witch had.134Please respect copyright.PENANAtZHutZ3Rq4
They made their way up the staircase, which was truly dangerous, and sooner or later was going to kill someone. But regardless- they made it.
The attic was pitch black. Void of any way to see, but the Witch didnt care. Seeing the Poet distracted them, that tossled light blond hair looked too nice today. So instead the two clambered out of the staircase and stood in silence.
"Well then Witch, what would you like me to do?" The poet walked into the supposed middle of the room, and flung their arms out to do a spin in the complete darkness.134Please respect copyright.PENANAoOQidzmGQG
"What you do best" The witch replied, and was pulling out a lighter and a candle.134Please respect copyright.PENANAkufgLKjLNO
"Complain? Sleep? Engage in Stupid activities with you? Spin words around to make pretty sentences?"134Please respect copyright.PENANAB1TD4WlWUQ
"That one"134Please respect copyright.PENANA1YuHa020o9
"Well then dearest-give me something as beautiful as you to talk about" The poet was quiet while they said it, and the room got noticably warmer. Why did the poet have to wear a coat, its getting really warm.134Please respect copyright.PENANAVcWpRUWe99
"How about the look on your face when you see this work" The witch responded, sounding somewhat breathless as they started to light the candles. There were a lot of them, all of them placed in a circle around the Poet.
Both of their heart rates increased, and it wasn't becuase of the crushes they had on each other, maybe the fact of what they were about to do.
"Care to tell me what your doing?" The poet asked, carefull ignorance coated onto his words to hide his uncertainty.134Please respect copyright.PENANAHs73J7vxAZ
"No, your confusion is cute"134Please respect copyright.PENANAqyTBd2v9az
"I'd prefer to be called perfect, or maybe beautiful, than cute"134Please respect copyright.PENANAPv5IWzloLE
"Too bad"134Please respect copyright.PENANAScHjdQkmi2
All the candles were lit now, and the witch could see the poet's outline and tossled hair with relative ease now. The witch was still almost invisible, but the bright pink strand of hair at the side of their face was like a glow-stick.
"Care to say some pretty words?"134Please respect copyright.PENANA8QJbR8U1on
"I would love to"
The Witch placed crystals around the circle as the Poet unfolded a piece of paper, crumpled and scribbled down, probably from one of their dreams.
The Witch stood in front of the poet, both in the circle.
"In a world, where i don't exist, there is a life i never lived."134Please respect copyright.PENANAoCUYmNxWU5
The witches breath stilled, it was her turn.134Please respect copyright.PENANAyWaWEW84Gu
"In a world, where i don't exist, there is a life i never lived."134Please respect copyright.PENANAeoFiFlMeEF
The poets eyes seemed to have tears in them.134Please respect copyright.PENANAcg8iLypQHe
"It is not made for who i am, but who i am going to be."134Please respect copyright.PENANAGApAvZ1UGc
The witch didn't want to do this. But the plan-134Please respect copyright.PENANAA7sS6oVgYe
"Is is not made for who i am, but who i am going to be"134Please respect copyright.PENANAzzCxs1vler
The poet would miss the witch, more than anything.134Please respect copyright.PENANAUSpCq8p648
"But i must become who the world needs"134Please respect copyright.PENANANvem4unsY1
The witch couldn't. How could they- but it was almost over.134Please respect copyright.PENANAgmwFQyxaNN
"But i-"134Please respect copyright.PENANAkV3fNzy0uz
The poet tilted their head-and in those brown eyes the Witch could see tears. The two were supposed to do this, separate becuase they were in wrong worlds. Swap for the witch to see their dreams and the poet to understand peace for once. But what if that didn't need to happen?134Please respect copyright.PENANAzXdTp71Q37
Selfish thoughts they both had. Selfish thoughts to stay with the other.134Please respect copyright.PENANAS2l28xXm0H
"But i-i will not be who this world needs"134Please respect copyright.PENANAhBiL86Ui1G
The poet smiled.134Please respect copyright.PENANAJmVOriTx9U
"And i shall revoke my right to see the world in magic if only to see the person that means the world to me" The poet said these words as if a vow, they only had one chance at this, and only these two could travel through the realms once-and yet for teen-barely teens, both just barely fourteen- love, they would.134Please respect copyright.PENANAXOpvvPBj2f
"And i shall cease to understand my magic if it means i can see magic anew" The witch paused, the two stepped closer. The candles were flickering madly, the crystals glowing with power unused from the spell left undone.134Please respect copyright.PENANARxLhyLgJOy
The room was iluminated from the dark with candles and crystals, the two stood facing one another. It was like no time has passed, silence echoed into the walls and the Witch and the Poet looked at each other for what felt like the first time.134Please respect copyright.PENANAuyOg73jFYt
"I don't think i've told you my name" The Witch Starts with, and takes the poet's hand, "I'm Reilly"134Please respect copyright.PENANA89RrWALGQK
The Poet faintly smiles, "Hi Reilly, I'm Rowan." They take each others other hand. Rowan's heart is doing backflips, "I think there is something i haven't done just yet" They slowly lean in.134Please respect copyright.PENANAA5NVs5RzgZ
"Well why don't you do it?" Reilly leans in while Rowan brushes away the pink strand of hair.134Please respect copyright.PENANAKOtPnLLcA9
With a flick of their wrist Rowan blows out all of the candles. Maybe theres more to the poet than fancy words. "Well i'm going to do it right now."
And in the pitch black of the attic, two teens-just kids really, just Reilly and Rowan, staying together even though they aren't supposed to-kiss when they should be doing anything but that.
