The sun has set on our perfect day as Matty drives us through the lanes, the headlights lighting up the path ahead. Trees lining either side of the car make it appear darker than it really is. The heater is on and the music down low. He rests one hand on my thigh, he's so confident. He doesn't have to overcompensate, he's just himself unapologetically.

My phone buzzes. And I scramble in my bag to retrieve it. I unlock it feeling like I haven't looked at it for hours. It's now a foreign object to me.

I flick my brunette curls back amazed that my hair has remained silky and frizz free. I mentally thank Rhea for the hair tips. I'm overdressed for a house party. I'm also slightly wine drunk already after my two large glasses.

Matty stops off at the off license, he buys me a bottle of Malibu as he says Ross has rubbish alcohol. He also gets tobacco, mint filters and some disaronno for me to try.

We park up outside Ross' house. He leans over to me hand still on my thighs and kisses me. Urgently and passionately. When he breaks it off he keeps his lips on mine.

I follow him out of the car slightly stunned by the kiss. He rests an arm around my shoulders I'm still wearing his jacket. I look down at my heeled boots and long legs, my burgundy dress that shows off my figure. I feel confident, how could I not? Matty draped around me and I'm dressed the part. His possessiveness pretty much screams; she's with me. And this is one instance where I don't mind that one bit.
