“I remember when I was five or six, I believe it was, he told me that parts of the world were unique and that exploring all of the waters of the world should always be a journey he would partake in. What kept him from doing so were the ‘walls’ of the Outer Waters. He told me stories of people that went there and were met with fifty to a hundred-foot waves constantly coming from every direction,” Dulgit stopped to take a second as if something had hit home while he spoke of this subject.
“My father died when he finally chose to try to explore the world, and when he went to the Outer Waters he had never returned. He told me he would but we found parts of his ship floating through the town I grew up in...”

Kai’s head faced down with his eyes closed as he took deep, calmed breaths to remain focused. The area he was in was underneath the seating of the citizens, but far below. It remained dark where he was at everyone had fought except for him at this point. He wasn’t sure who lived or has died, all he knew was that he was next.
