Shadow's mother, father, and their guests are surprised by this entrance.Shadow smiles nervously at them.

Shadow’s mother and father start scolding her.

Shadow’s Mother: “Enough with these mischiefs already!”

Shadow: “Come on, Mom, I just fought a bad guy. It’s not that bad.”

Shadow’s Mother: “You could have gotten hurt—or worse, that bad guy could have hurt you—or even worse, you could have died!”

Shadow: “But I didn’t die because I defeated him.”

Shadow’s Mother: “Thank goodness you didn’t die. If you had, it would have been a huge shock for us, and we couldn’t have gotten over it, young lady.”

Shadow’s Father: “And also, you broke a window of the royal palace. This palace was inherited from your great-great-great-grandmother, who was a respectful, rule-abiding, prestigious, and kind queen. When you grow up and after we pass away, you will become the queen. You will be responsible for this palace and for the citizens.”

Shadow’s Mother: “You are a princess. Therefore, you must follow the rules, attend classes, behave prestigiously, and be a kind and respectful princess.”

Shadow: “But I don’t want to be a princess! I want to be an adventurer. I want to fight bad men, bad women, and monsters. I want to live adventures! I don’t want to live with boring and silly rules!”

Shadow’s Mother: “I’m sorry, young lady, but you must follow the rules, attend classes, be respectful, prestigious, and kind. You must not risk your life for adventures. That's why we're sending you to a reputable school where you will learn to be more respectful, kind, and rule-abiding. You will no longer fight bad people or meddle in dangerous affairs.”

Shadow: “But Mom—”

Shadow’s Mother: “No buts! Until you become more respectful and kind, you will attend classes and stay there, young lady. You need to learn how to be a prestigious and polite princess.”

Shadow’s Father: “Your mother is right, young lady. You must learn how a princess should behave.”

Shadow: “But Mom, Dad, I don’t need to go to school! I'm already a respectful, kind, and prestigious princess.”

Shadow’s Mother: “No, young lady, you must go to school and learn how to be a princess.”

Shadow: “But Mom—”

Shadow’s Father: “No buts, Shadow. Discussion over.”

Shadow: “Ah, alright. I’m not happy about this at all."

Shadow’s Mother calls for Alter, points at Shadow, and says, “You can take her now, Alter.” Alter nods and leaves the room with Shadow.

An hour later, while driving to school with Alter, Shadow mumbles to herself:

"Alright, fine, I’m naughty and break everything. But they’re also disrespectful and unfair. The rules are silly! Everything is silly! Besides, I was never happy living in the palace anyway. I never wanted to stay there. They say I shouldn't put myself in danger and that I must be a kind, prestigious, and respectful princess. Ugh—"At that moment, the car stops, and Shadow sees the school, shocked."—even better!"

Alter turns to Shadow: “Here are your school uniforms, shoes, room number, and everything you need. Have a nice day.”As Alter drives away, Shadow mutters, “Hmm, well, it’s bigger than I expected. Seeing the secretary's questioning look, Shadow asks:“Where can I put my belongings? I have a number with me, but I don’t know what to do.”

Secretary: “Huh? Oh, you must mean your room number.”

Shadow: “Yes, my room number. Could you tell me where it is? I’m new here, you know.”

The secretary smiles warmly at Shadow's friendliness and reaches for a form.

Secretary: “Ah, well, umm, of course! I just need your first and last name.”

Secretary: “Okay, your full name?”

As she turns around to head to her room, she realizes she didn’t ask for directions.Returning to the desk, she sees that the secretary is no longer there.

Shadow: “Alright, guess I’ll find it myself,” she says and starts walking.

After walking for a while, she reaches the corridor with the rooms. She is sweating from carrying her belongings and walking.

Looking around, she sees a girl with blue hair and bright yellow school clothes standing by the door at the far end.

Shadow: “Excuse me, is this room 122?”

The girl hesitates, looking at Shadow’s face, so Shadow thinks she’s at the wrong room.

Shadow: “Wow, umm, guess I’ll leave then. See you!”

Altona: “Wait, what did you just say?”

Shadow: “I said I guess I’ll leave?”

Altona: “No, before that.”

Shadow: “Umm, wow?”

Altona: “No, before that.”

Shadow: “Is this room 122?”

Altona: “Ah, yes! This is room 122.”

Shadow: “Ah, really? Finally! I won’t have to walk to the other corridor. Hooray! And you must be my new roommate, right? Sorry for almost leaving, I’ve been a bit absent-minded lately.”

Altona: “Ah, it’s no problem. You must be the new student, right?”

Shadow: “How did you know?”

Altona: “It’s obvious from your clothes. Plus, they told us a new student was coming this year. And… your feet are bare.”

Altona hurriedly grabs Shadow’s hand.

Altona: “We have to go now! Let’s go!”

Shadow and Altona run to where the other students are gathered.Shadow is amazed when she sees the students.

Altona is still pulling Shadow by the hand.

Shadow: “Wow!”

Altona: keeps pulling her.

Shadow: “Hey!”

Altona: “Sorry!”

Shadow, still amazed, looks at the students again: “Wow, the students look awesome!”

As the students talk among themselves, a march-like music starts playing.All the students look up.

Altona: “We have to go immediately!”

The students start moving.

Shadow: “Where are they going? Ahh—”

Altona pulls Shadow by the hand.

At that moment, a man passes by them.Shadow feels that he’s a bad man.When she turns and looks at him, the man grins.

Shadow: “Wait a second, what is that bad guy doing here?”Forgetting where she is, Shadow follows the bad guy.

Altona calls out after her: “Hey! What are you doing? We can’t move when the music is playing!”

Despite Altona’s warning, Shadow follows the bad guy.

When she catches up, she sees that the bad guy is laughing with the principal.

Principal: “Ah, so we can make our deal, right, Mr. Heinz?”

Mr. Heinz: “Yes, we can, Mr. Humps.”

The principal looks around cautiously, then hands a bag to Mr. Heinz.

Principal: “So, where’s mine, Mr. Heinz? You know I’m not a patient man.”

Meanwhile, Shadow tries to understand what she’s witnessing.

Mr. Heinz: “Of course, there’s something for you too,” he says, handing something to the principal.He continues: “Have you ever thought about ruling the world—or your school—in a better, more peaceful way?”

While asking this, Mr. Heinz secretly draws out a knife.Just as he moves toward the principal, the principal notices Shadow and stands up.

Principal: “Shadow! What are you doing here? Lost your way? Looking for the bathroom?”

Shadow: “Uh, I…”

Mandies approaches them and asks the principal: “Who’s this girl?”

Principal: “Oh, she’s the daughter of the Grix family. Shadow Grix.She’s the Galactix Purple Pearl Princess, heir to the royal bloodline and the throne.”

Upon hearing this, Mandies smirks, bows down, and kisses Shadow’s hand.

Mandies: “It’s a pleasure to meet you, my lady. I am Mandies Heinzberg, Commander of the German Armies.Meeting you is an honor.”

And I just laughed.

A slight glitch occurred in the air.

“Principal Onur? What’s she talking about?” Luca asked, tilting his head toward Wolfie.

“Wolfie, could you show our new friend around?”

Wolfie pulled out his phone and adjusted his glasses.“Sure, come on, friend,” he said kindly.

He gently took my arm and began to show me around the entire school.The school was absolutely enchanting.

Stockholm Syndrome – Episode 1: Am I Facing My Opposite Character?

I was at the bar. Songs were playing, and rain was pouring outside the window. Everyone had come with their partner, while I sat there all alone. The doctor prescribed me something—said I had Stockholm Syndrome.

I was no longer a superhero. I used to save people, but… I was starting to get tired of it.

A door in front of me opened. A man walked in, drenched from the rain, his wet hair falling over his eyes. He walked arrogantly. The men in the bar, irritated by his insolent stride, spoke rudely.

Men: Hey! Do you think you have permission to walk around so arrogantly? This isn’t some random stable you can just barge into!

Yet, even as they spoke, the man didn’t acknowledge them—he kept walking, just as boldly as before. This only angered them further.

Men: HEY! ARE YOU DEAF OR SOMETHING? WE’RE TALKING TO YOU!

The men stood up and approached him. One of them reached to touch his shoulder. Just as they did, the man suddenly slapped them and sprinted toward the door.

Seeing this, the men became even more furious.

Men: HEY! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING? COME BACK HERE!

They ran after him and rushed out the door.

Curious, I decided to follow them. I stepped outside and saw the men running to the right. After a moment, I realized they had entered a dead-end alley. When I reached the same alley, I saw a man in a brown suit, his back turned to me.

And then… I saw them killing the man with their bare hands.

The scene terrified me. I fell to the ground. A violent flash of lightning split the sky.

That’s when he turned around.

A man—his body covered in grotesque, tentacle-like appendages—noticed me. He smirked wickedly, like a true villain.

Tentacle Man: Well, aren’t you just adorable?

He threw the men aside effortlessly and quickly approached me. His gaze scanned me from head to toe, analyzing me. Then, something changed. His expression became sharper, almost mocking, as if he recognized me.

His voice dripped with sarcasm.

Tentacle Man: Hmmm? Shadow… It’s been a long time. Ah, you’ve changed—you’re becoming more of a woman.

His smirk deepened as he continued.

Tentacle Man: But be careful. If you keep becoming more of a woman, Manuh will start seeing you as one of those mature women… and leave you for someone his own age.

The moment he said that, I recognized his voice.

It was a voice I had heard before—one that belonged to someone from my past.

Wait!

Before I left the simulation…

This voice… It belonged to my school principal. My greatest enemy.

I blushed, completely bewildered by the situation. How could it be that the man I had a crush on was standing right in front of me? I couldn't comprehend it... How was I facing him? I had to defend myself against the monster immediately! Thankfully, I had brought my spray with me for dangerous situations. I reached into my pocket and pulled it out, but as I pressed it toward Mark, I realized it was empty. How could my spray run out at the worst possible moment? Could a girl be this unlucky? I had just embarrassed myself in front of the guy I liked!

Ah, I found a way! I needed to distract Mark to escape... But how? Think, think, Shadow! You have to use 90% of your brainpower. Aha, perfect! A brilliant idea popped into my head! To execute my plan, I took on an indifferent attitude. Clearing my throat and looking at him with a careless gaze, I said:

Shadow: "Eh! Umm, you've lost weight lately. Are you on a diet? I'm glad to see that!"

Mark, however, was unconvinced. His expression remained serious as he spoke in a stern tone:

Mark: "Did you really think you could fool me like that?"

Shadow shuddered at the sound of his voice and shook her head. Mark then continued:

With those words, Mark grabbed Shadow and pushed her against the wall, moving even closer. His voice darkened as he whispered:

Mark: "Let's see how it feels to be close to your boss, huh? We've done this in previous versions of the simulation... Over and over again... We did all of this, and in the end, we had sex. We always did, didn't we? An unbreakable fate, right? But in the last simulation, you, Manuela, left me! That made daddy very sad! Hmm? Should I kill you with my own hands, just like I did with Lucas? Or should I just use you as a mere sexual object? I can't decide."

Hearing this, I became even more serious. I fell silent, lowering my head, unable to say anything. I couldn't hold back my emotions and started crying. Mark wasn't surprised; instead, he looked at me like I was a fool. With a mocking tone, he said:

Man: "Mark Blackjack! What a big surprise! Or should I call you the creator of the simulation?"

Mark recognized the man's voice instantly, showing no sign of surprise. He released me from the wall and turned to face him. With a smirk, he spoke in his usual casual tone:

Mark: "Well, well! Look who we have here! How are you, man? It's been a while! Looks like you've gained some weight! How’s your wife doing? Or should I say… White?"

White let out a soft chuckle. He was a tall, slim albino man with long, tied-back hair. Dressed in a dark blue police uniform and wearing a cap, he carried himself with a calm, intelligent, and gentle demeanor—like a father who had a daughter, at least in my eyes.

With his usual composed tone, White replied:

White: "I’m doing well. My wife is always busy with work. The business world is demanding, after all. At least she doesn’t run away from her job to flirt with other girls like you."

Mark burst into laughter, grinning mischievously:

Mark: "Ahhh, White! You're so funny! I wish I could be as funny as you! If I were a girl, I'd definitely fall in love with you! Do you like men?"

White, keeping his calm tone, replied:

White: "Unfortunately, I'm only in love with my wife. Now stop wasting my time! Surrender and leave the girl alone!"

The police officers stepped out of their cars. One of them approached me and took me to White’s side, while the others surrounded Mark, pointing their guns at him. Mark scanned the area carefully, weighing his options.

With a cunning smirk, he said:

Mark: "Ahh, fine, I'll leave the girl alone! But I will never surrender! Do you know why? Because I’m not an idiot like you! I can still have my fun with her later. No worries! Just like you can always cheat on your wife and have fun with her instead!"

As he finished his sentence, his voice grew lustful, his breath hot, and his gaze filled with desire. White, visibly disturbed by Mark’s perversion, turned to his officers and ordered in a stern voice:

White: "Kill him!"

The officers prepared to fire, their fingers on the triggers. But just as they pulled them, Mark suddenly teleported—vanishing into thin air.
