Kael Miro has been visiting Miriam’s bookstore for as long as he can remember. The place feels like a second home, tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. One rainy afternoon, after a long day of school, Kael stops by to browse the shelves, and Miriam offers him a book she found outside by the trashcan. It’s old, covered in dust, and filled with strange symbols Kael doesn’t understand.
Curious and intrigued, Kael takes the book home—and soon discovers that it’s not just a book. It’s a key to something much bigger, and possibly dangerous. Miriam seems to know more than she lets on, but when Kael presses her for answers, she only gives him a knowing smile.
Why did she give him the book? And what secrets does it hold?
