You'd think maybe I would learn,

But no,

I always make the same mistakes.

There's no stopping it.

Did I not realize it would inevitably happen?

How will I ever trust anyone again?

Someone tell me,

Someone help me.

This thing,

They seem to call it love,

But who really feels it?

Who created this horrible beast?

Surely not a human experiences life without heartbreak,

When shall they realize it's not for them?

When will I realize to stop trying?

I guess I'm just waiting for the hurt all over again.

You say, "I'm waiting for the right one."

But you're just waiting for the right tragedy.

And I'm just sitting on the left.

Why must we always fall for love?
