Margot changed into her red gown in the chamber room.

She adjusted the jewelry, and placed it across her neck.

The mirror was old.

She heard the door was creaking.

She turned around, and saw Lord Nathaniel.

'You came back, my Lord'.

'I'm going away. To London, England, my Lady'.

'England'.

'I've failed you, my Lady'.

'No, you knew what was going on'.

'Death will come here'.

'I know that, my Lord. Lady Charlotte is married'.

'Yes, and I'm glad she is', Lord Nathaniel said.

'Will you stay overnight?', Lady Margot asked him.

'Yes, but in the morning, I shall be going by ship to England'.

He kissed her, and she cried.
