The Roadhouse

'Burl. Are you ready to order?', Sherlene asked him.

'Yes. A hamburger with the lot. And ketchup, please. And a coffee'.

'Coming up', Sherlene said.

The door was open.

A sickly-looking man appeared.

He sneezed.

Hard.

Then he fell onto the ground.

'Shit! He's infected'.

'I don't know. He's freaking out', Burl answered.

He didn't want the sick man to spread the infection.

'Is there a doctor here?', Sherlene asked.

'I'll call 9-1-1', Burl answered.

As he did so, the man vomited.

'Get everyone out of the bloody Roadhouse', Martin Roe, a trucker, yelled. As they did so, the infected man died.

The Roadhouse was closed after that.

It was open the next morning.

But the events that happened there wasn't forgotten.
