Think about meeting that one person,

That one special character.

The one who you project your fantasies upon.

There are so many personalities to consider,

So many journeys to send them on,

Yet there is always that one that you revert to.

.

You pretend that it's not based on you

And all the stories you dream to be a part of,

But deep down you still wish it was true.

.

You sit behind your computer

And create a world of wonder,

Each day being a new hero.

But your MC conquers all of your fears

And realizes your victories,

While you still sit and fantasize for years.

.

You dream of the worlds and adventures

That would take you out of your normal life,

Only to add it on to your character's strife.

.

I know how it feels to put your character first,

To keep pretending that you're not jealous

Of what life you bring to them.

But the funniest thing of all this zealous

Creating is that every time you look in a mirror,

Meeting your MC becomes even clearer.
