Days passed as the couple grew stronger. Three remained, Alfred and the Duo. Sadly, all stories have to come to an end, and Alfred’s came faster than he could imagine. School came around, dragging a new opportunity with it: a Science fair.
Now, to you that wouldn’t seem so dangerous. Just a bunch of vinegar and baking soda volcanoes right? Well—yes, but there’s always a bad side to things, even if it’s small. In this case, the partners messed with his project, a handheld water jet.

The blue oblong scrap shone in the bright lighting, water swished and splashed within the fully plastic container, proving others that he wasn’t tricking anyone. His goal was set to demonstrate that there was indeed a fun way to clean.
Layed out next to him on the table was a small, glass bowl. The contents were supposed to be soap shavings, which the young, short haired boy would add into his gun and fire it towards a piece of glass. Professors and lecturers scanned by, analysing each and every project.
Candice had taken part in the ordeal, but Baron hadn’t. It was a Chemistry Fair, which he wasn’t particularly interested in. (I’m not saying what he likes cause that’s a give away) Her face saddened when he rejected her offer, and at first she didn’t feel like going anymore. However he managed to convince her to go.

Candice and Alfred became close since he agreed to the disbandment of their previous group, but never really spoke to each other. The penultimate (Hahahaha) enemy. She gazed over at him from her booth. It was sad, she actually thought he was normal! But oh well. She wasn’t planning on killing him, poor boy was already suicidal from what she found out.
Her thoughts worsened, she could bear it though, Alfred might just end himself if we’re paitient enough. That’s what she thought. What she didn’t know is that Baron was after Alfred. After a small talk; the boy had revealed that Candice was the only reason he was living still, begging him to let them live.
Bloodlust and hysteria fogged over as Baron felt that family friend called jealousy. It pinged through him like a lightening bolt on a harmless tree; and it burned. He didn’t say a word, assuring his ‘friend’ that he would think about it. He joined his girlfriend at the fair, watching from the booths. Sure, they were allowed to visit and check out what was to offer as well but Baron decided for the better.
My Candi is far enough, this won’t hurt her–plus, her project is blast proof. Instead of soap shavings, the bowl contained Lithium shavings. Lithium doesn’t give a very high or critical reaction, but the plastic will melt. And that’s exactly what happened.
”NO WAIT—!” Screams bursted around the room, students running frantic as they noticed the booth set alight. Professors searched other booths swiftly for safety materials and lecturers led students away as far as possible. The only one that wasn’t panicking was Candice; she was both awestruck and dumbstruck.
How did this happen? Her eyes watched in pure confusion as she watched the horror-struck boy fling his flame ball into the glass, sending shatters launching. Oh my...— that thought was cut short as her face paled.
Alfred laid motionless on the floor.
She felt nothing, pity was the only thing settled in her otherwise stone cold heart and questions were the only things that ruled her mind. What happened? Why? Is he dead? Queries crowded her thoughts to the point she knew it was gonna explode.
A professor noticed her and flared. “Young Lady! You must get out of the room immediately!” He said, before rushing out with the remainder of the adults. As soon as the slammed shut, a cold shiver ran down her spine as she saw her lover stand from his place. “Oh. Well this isn’t good.” He chimed, a sadistic grin playing at his lips.
This wasn’t the Baron she knew; but it was the Baron she loved. Secretly, that’s what she had fell for; a kind-hearted, timid psycho. He was the perfect mix of insanity and care, just like herself. She wasn’t frightened, in fact, she let out a chuckle, strolling up to him in a sinful matter.
He didn’t move, patiently and carefully eyeing every step she took.. “What’s all this, Love?” She asked the younger in an innocent manner, “For you, hope you like it.” He smirked. Outlandish silence misted in a light blanket around the room, then Baron knelt down near the ‘corpse’.
“It’s pitiful,” he sang slightly, brushing a hand across Alfred’s cold cheek. Fire and ice, insanity and sanity. “I thought he was one of us Mi Amour, but oh well.” He sighed sarcastically, grabbing a shard and slicing his wrist. “Goodbye.” He waved, watching the figure glitch and teleport elsewhere.
“Now, lets get out of here.” He smiled, reaching out his hand and letting his lover grasp it. She smiled back; but her was sinking, for there was one thing she didn’t tell him yet.
There can only be one God.
“Love? Can—Can I tell you something?” She stammered, her sweetheart nodded, ushering her to go on. “There can only be one God.” Tears pricked her eyes as she stood up, ebony waves stuck to her face by the salty water.
“I—“ she choked slightly. “I’m sorry.” And with that she stabbed herself in the heart, resulting in an instant, painless death. “nononoNONNONONONO!!” Baron cried, tears falling hot and fast down his tan cheeks. He tried to run over to her, but was teleported to another realm before he could wish her goodbye.
I am now God...
