We're not, no we're not friends, nor have we ever been.

My eyes meet yours as we walk down that same staircase we did when we were younger.

We just try to keep those secrets in a lie,

A smile glistening on my face while I try to hide my blush, classmates crowding me.

And if they find out, will it all go wrong?

But I don’t say a word, smiling at them as if nothing happened.
