“Aika neesan! Where are you?” called Aiko from inside.
“At the gate!” replied Aika. “Kaede and Hakuto are coming! First to reach wins!”
”Hey! Cheat!”
Aika explodes with laughter as Aiko chases her. Kaede and Hakuto smile. Frankly, these girls won’t change, will they? Aiko catches up with Aika.
“Hey, Aika neesan! That’s pure wickedness, you know!”
“Your problem and your opinion!” replies Aika, giggling.
“Okay! Enough, both of you. You’re too boisterous! Will you keep quiet for a sec?” says Kaede.
”Oh, niisan!” replies Hakuto, laughing. “Will you leave them alone? Or does the boisterousness attract you, huh?
“H-hey!” says Kaede, blushing.
All burst into laughter. Such is one of the frequent meetings of Kaede, Hakuto, Aika and Aiko. None of them would have ever thought about what would happen next.
