I was buying some food in the convenience store for dinner, and it was raining hard with some wind. A cord suddenly snapped from the post, and it went to the water where my left foot was and shocked me to death.

"Are you perhaps R.O.B?" I ask the man in a business suit.
"Bingo!" R.O.B tries his best to impersonate Jester from DMC3.
"Am sure you know me." The divinity statue asks.
I give the divinity statue a thumbs up.
"So, where do you want to go? A fantasy world or a modern/fantasy timeline based on that first story of yours." R.O.B said.
"If you choose to go to the modern/fantasy timeline based on that first story of yours., Me and R.O.B nudge a lot of things after we sent you and in this modern/fantasy timeline, some things already exist that were supposed to exist in the future. The divinity statue said.
"It seems the two of you are nudging me to choose the modern/fantasy timeline that is based on my story." I chuckled.
"While going to a fantasy world is not bad, you have some modern needs and portals from other worlds will appear at random places especially when the qliphoth fiasco is over." R.O.B reassures me.
"By portals means that it will intensify in the aftermath when Vergil decides to unleash the tree. You get some adventure too before or after that event since in this alternate timeline, before Vergil unleashes that tree, portals are already emerging that people don't know about." R.O.B also said that, I’ll end up as a hybrid, the same as Dante, Vergil, Verdun and Nero. Also, he asked that I only ask for two weapons since my new parents also have a weapon for their child. "Interesting." R.O.B muttered before he let the divinity statue see the abilities I want.
"The caveat?" I ask to prepare myself.
“Your father has enemies and he's gone missing, there is a high chance that you will suffer the same fate as Dante and Vergil. Also, your mother is MIA and also, your luck is permanent RANK: D.” The divinity statue said.
R.O.B also said that the DMC 3 storyline will start when I am in the age of 20. The divinity statue said that I have 5 years of practice before Vergil raises that tower.

I said my goodbye and gave him my thanks for letting me have a second chance in life.
R.O.B summons a long table, a travel bag and five briefcases appear in the table. R.O.B said that the sawn-off shotgun I want inside the bag along with some gold bars and those briefcases has one million dollars each.
“Think of it as a starter package.” R.O.B.

(*) In 1983 the world was shocked by the existence of angels and demons. Governments around the world are now sending people to learn magic. By 2005 the world will witness portals and dungeons that will spit out monsters.
(*) All monsters coming from a portal are buff to the point you will need a magnum round for it. 45 ACP can only be used on small monsters.
(*) Devil arms are a little bit buff and the same goes from the monsters.

“I see that he is the one who will be reincarnating in this world.” The woman spoke.
I ask politely who she is.

She did also give me some brief history about this earth and I should stay strong since monsters, angels and demons are not the way they are.
“Reality is not white and black but am sure you know that right?” Gaia says.
I give her a thumbs up.
“Most of the demons living in Qoskoucia federation are the ones who just want to be left alone, knows your father and Sparda. Some angels decided to live there too. Also, I know that you want to live the way you want but it would be best if you got yourself involved in some major event since I don’t want these people to go extinct and those you live on my earth. Show them how strong you are and it would also benefit you if you got some connection. The three of us here will get some entertainment too.” Gaia gave me a thumbs up.
“Before the three of us send you to your destination, there will be more events in the future.” With that, Gaia snapped her finger, Gaia said that I entered the portal to start my new life.
