”I mean yeah.” She said. I swear this girl was gonna make me choke her stupid ass. I swear when I met this girl she was a doctor with so much going for herself but looking at her I see she’s for nobody but herself. My daughter adored her mom even at 13. My daughter Dream was a daddy’s girl but the way she looked up to her mother was kinda breath taking. Her mother lost her job two years ago and as the the mother of my child I told her don’t worry about it I got. She had this boyfriend or whatever. My daughter said she’s never met him but clearly I see why.
15 years ago I met shorty at some party and I had to have her. When we got together I dropped all my hoes and put my best foot out to get her. For years she dogged me. I had to get a dna test for my daughter because she was cheating so much. We went to therapy and that’s when I decided I didn’t wanna do this shit no more. Nothing she ever did was wrong. She was out here playing with my sanity. When I left she begged for me to come back but I just couldn’t. For years she ran off any girl I wanted to try and date. Now that she told she was moving I was like cool but to leave our daughter? That’s low.
”You know I don’t know what happen to you but if you leave and abandon my daughter don’t come back.” I said.
Weeks turned into months when Kali left. She changed her number on my daughter and the sad thing is my daughter waited on her to call. She was in denial. Crazy thing about everything was she held it well for a long time. Except tonight she was knocking shit over in her room crying. Shit was killing me because who the fuck was about to clean this up.
“Dream Talk use your fucking words.” I yelled at her.
”How can she just leave me and live her life like I don’t exist. Look at her.” She said and I saw why she was upset her mom was pregnant. I pulled my daughter in my arms and hugged her as she cried.
”Fuck that bitch. You don’t need nobody who don’t need you.”
”Do you need me daddy?” She asked looking at me.
“More then you know my dream.” I said and hugged her.
