In the previous chapter of Something... In order to join Xandra's clique, Ikjot had to devise a way to make Rye and his boys leave her and her girls alone. And what better way was there than for him to make-up a fake diary of Xandra, which would talk about how much she cared for Rye and his friends? Leaving the fake diary behind the wood chips field, Ikjot managed to draw bait: Glen, Azure and Wade... who would reveal the diary to Rye himself! But will he and his boys fall for this little scam...?14Please respect copyright.PENANA3dMsNaRHQV

The poor girls were brutalized to bloody pulps and left to cry in pain on the floor! When will this monstrosity end? How much longer can Vanessa and Vicky hold on? Ikjot Knows Not of Xandra's Real Diary

Back at the shack, loud stomping could be heard from inside.
"ERH!" groaned Derick, slamming his foot down onto Vanessa's nose, making blood fly.
"STOP IT!" cried Vicky, not able to stand the fact that her friend was being brutalized.
"AND YOU!" said Derick, running to Vicky and grabbing her by the neck.
"AH!" screamed Vicky, crying tears while Derick said, "You little PIG...!" He started squeezing her neck even harder before punching her in the eye.14Please respect copyright.PENANAVqMGCyYLSY
"AH!" screamed Vicky. Then, moments later, her eye turned blue and swelled up like a balloon; and she cried even louder in pain.
"Aw... look at that!" teased Derick. "Hey, Mike! Come see this!"
Mike walked to Derick with folded arms, looking down at Vicky. "Well-well.... He-he! Look what we have here...."
Derick chuckled. "Yeah!" He pulled back his fist, said, "No..." and slammed it right into Vicky's nose, "KIDDING!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" screamed Vicky, this time even longer and louder with more pain.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" said Vanessa, still unable to move. "PLEASE, STOP IT!" Mike looked to Vanessa with anger as she continued, "PLEASE!"
Mike, sick of hearing her whining, ran to Vanessa and jumped up before landing his feet right onto her face.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" cried Vanessa as her blood and tears flowed from beneath Mike's shoes.
Mike then jumped off of Vanessa's face, only to reveal it being even bloodier and more brutalized than before.
Before Mike would fold his arms, Derick said, "Wait... let's turn them over."
"Hm...?" puzzled Mike. Vanessa and Vicky, still crying and very brutalized, trembled in fear while Mike asked, "Turn them over?"
"Yeah," Derick replied. "I want us to start jumping on their backs...."
The girls became even more fearful while Derick said that.
Derick continued, "AND DON'T STOP UNTIL YOU HEAR SOMETHING CRACK!"
Vicky shouted, "YOU MONSTERS! WHY?! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! WE CAN'T BE YOUR GIRLFRIENDS IF WE'RE DEAD!"
"Hmmm..." puzzled Mike and Derick to each other.
"Fine..." said Derick before down in Vicky's face, making her tremble in fear. "But we're still angry about Mr. Bourdon refusing our asking... so we need to find some way to make you wenches feel our pain!"
"Why not we cut their hair...?" asked Mike with a smirk.
The girls could only tremble in fear, hugging each other as closely as they could.
"Yeah..." said Derick, approaching them as he reached into his pocket and took out a knife. "I don't like girls with hair anyway."
Mike snickered and said, "Yeah, me neither! Ha-ha!"
Vicky and Vanessa started crawling back, only for Derick to keep walking forward... with Mike who soon followed. The frightened girls would continue to crawl backwards until a wall would bring them to a halt, leaving them with nowhere else to go.
Derick, stopping before them with his knife raised to the air, said, "SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR BEAUTY!" and slashed it down.

Back at my school and on the playground, Rye and his boys, having read it aloud to Azure, Glen and Wade, completed reading Xandra's diary. They all stood there with shocked faces, finding it all to be so unbelievable... but you could tell they believed it anyway.
"Wow... she and her friends really do care about us... don't they...?" puzzled Rye.
"Man..." said Glen. "And to think we've been nothing but nuisances to them this whole time. I feel so bad now...."
"I guess Xandra and her friends really are kind people..." said Azure, scratching the back of his head.
"We should tell everyone else!" Wade suggested.
"Yeah! People think she's mean and stuff!" said Glen.
Rye shook his head with guilt. "No, Glen... we were the mean ones. Wade's right; we should spread the word of how good she and her girls are."
Azure said, "We'll need the diary to prove it though, otherwise they'll think the girls put us up to it."
Meanwhile, me, Xandra and Orabel's cliques, and Helena hid behind a tree, listening to the boys while they spoke.14Please respect copyright.PENANAkRS77IDOia
"I don't believe it!" whispered Xandra, holding back a laugh. "They're actually buying it! How stupid! Haha!"
"Way to go, Ikjot!" said Orabel, giving me a fist bump.
Xandra shushed Orabel and said, "Do you want them to hear us...?"
To Azure, Rye nodded and replied, "Right.... Let's go tell everyone to call off their fire for these girls."
"Right!" said the other boys. With that, they all walked toward two female students (a brown bear and a goose) in the distance. From here, they planned to spread the word to every kid in the school, saying how good of people Xandra and her girls were.
Xandra looked to me with happiness and said, "IKJOT, THAT WAS AWESOME!"
I became overwhelmed with joy before Yosef said, "YEAH, WAY TO GO!" And she gave me a high-five. Man... why didn't Xandra ever want to give me high-fives?!
Xandra happily told Orabel, "HE IS SO SMART, ISN'T HE?!"
"YEAH, HE IS!" happily said Orabel.
"Thanks, girls!" I said, smiling and looking down shyly. "I really appreciate it!" Yes... even with that pebble, I still had my shy moments.
Meanwhile, Ilana and her girls had just broken the news to Herbertia....
"What?!" Herbertia exclaimed.
"He said you two weren't in a relationship," said Ilana.
Herbertia was filled with disbelief, not knowing what to say. "But... but we are!"
"He's a total liar!" said Ilana to her girls.
"We should tell Xandra," said Xiomara.
But Herbertia, knowing how much I wanted to maintain my good standing with Xandra, quickly said, "WAIT!"
"Hm...?" puzzled Ilana.
"Don't tell Xandra that Ikjot and I are in a relationship! Please! I wasn't even supposed to tell anyone that we were in the first place!"
1098 could only observe Herbertia's dedication to me.
"So what?! He doesn't control what you say!" Ilana replied.
"Yeah!" said Gylda. "Where does he get off thinking he can push women around?!"
Herbertia said, "You don't understand! We..." Herbertia knew that there was only one way to save my reputation now. She looked down with guilt and said, "We were never in a relationship. I lied...."
Ilana and her girls all paused in shock.
"Wh-What?" asked Xiomara, confused in her voice and expression.
1098's mouth opened with disbelief while Herbertia continued, "That's right.... Ikjot and I were never in a relationship; we were never boyfriend and girlfriend. I only said that so..." and Herbertia could only gulp with discomfort, knowing what she would detest saying next, "...so you and your girls would like me."
"Wooooooow!" exclaimed Ilana, still in shock with the others. "So you... lied?"
Herbertia paused, pondering on Ilana's response.... "Yes..." she said, hesitating. "Yes I did."
1098 could only look at Herbertia with shock, finding it unbelievable that she had done such a thing for me.
"It's cool! It's no problem," said Ilana, keeping a straight face. Herbertia puzzled to this while Ilana continued, "We just wanted to know."
"Wait... so... you guys aren't mad that I lied then?" puzzled Herbertia.
"Of course not!" said Ilana, resting her arm over Herbertia's shoulder in a friendly way.
"Yeah," said Xiomara. "We were just wondering."
"Positive?" asked Herbertia, closely observing them.
"Yeah!" Ilana said, maintaining the straight face while nodding.
"Absolutely!" said Zine, doing the same.
"...Sure?" asked Herbertia again.
"Yes!" said Ilana and her girls with a laugh.
"Well, okay..." said Herbertia, shrugging her shoulders.
With that, Ilana and her friends walked away without even saying bye.
Herbertia noticed this and said, "So, uh... I guess I'll see you guys later!"
But Ilana and her crew didn't even respond.
1098 walked to her and whispered, "Herbertia... what were you THINKING?!"
Herbertia replied, "Well I couldn't say Ikjot was a liar!"
1098 just paused with anger. She shook her head in disbelief, realizing she could no longer hold her tongue. "Okay, that's it! While I value Ikjot's secrets, it's not my job to deprive you of them in the process. I'm supposed to let you both know the truth about one another!"
"The truth...?"
1098 paused again, taking a deep breath... and said, "Herbertia...? Ikjot likes Xandra. He's only keeping you around so that in case Xandra turns on him, he'll still have you as a back-up."
Herbertia paused, not saying anything as she would stare at 1098... then finally laughed in response.
"What...?" puzzled 1098 with wide eyes.
Herbertia laughed so hard that she had to wipe a tear from her eye and said, "Oh, I get it...! Since you couldn't have Ikjot for yourself, you decided to make up this crazy lie about him in hopes of breaking us up!"
"WHAT?!" exclaimed 1098 in shock. "Herbertia, no! I'm telling you the truth! Why don't you open your eyes and see what's really going on here—?"
"Because it's coming from the mouth of the girl who I CAUGHT SLEEPING IN THE SAME BED WITH MY MAN?! What would you expect me to believe from you?!"
1098 became unamused. "You know what...? Fine.... As an Effect, it's my job to inform those who gave me existence of what's going on; not convince them that what I say is true. If you wish to see Ikjot for something he's not, that's not my problem—have your fun. But don't say I didn't warn you that a broken heart was on the way from all of this...." Clenching her fists, 1098 turned in the opposite direction from Herbertia and walked away. She muttered under her breath, "Humans and their drama...."
Herbertia grew unamused as well and said in a low voice, "Oh, I'll have fun alright." She too turned in the opposite direction, not taking her eyes off of 1098... and walked off while saying, "Lousy Effect...."
Little did Herbertia know of what Ilana and her girls were up to....
"Wow! Seriously...?!" exclaimed Hobbs Sydnor, hearing Ilana's words.
"You've gotta be kidding!" exclaimed Xander Lennon.
"She totally lied to us!" exclaimed Ilana.
"Yeah!" said Xiomara. "She told us that she and Ikjot were in a relationship, but they really weren't!"
"What's this I hear about someone lying...?" asked Qinton Ulrich, holding a basketball as he approached them. Qinton too was another one of my enemies! He was a sloth with round glasses and short, curly white hair.
"You know Herbertia in our class?" asked Ilana to Qinton.
"Yeah?" said Qinton.
Ilana said, "She told us she was Ikjot's girlfriend, even though she wasn't!"
"Wow!" remarked Qinton. "What a liar!"
Ilana said, "I know, right?! She's a total—!"
"What's this I hear about a liar?" asked Yetty Ozimek, a light-brown bear around Xandra's tall height with orange hair in a spunky ponytail and side bangs. Yetty Ozimek was a seventh grader who was good friends with lots of students.
"Some chick in our class who claimed she had a boyfriend and didn't," said Gylda, replying to Yetty.
"Yeah!" complained Xiomara.
Yetty made a fake laugh and said, "Wow! She sounds like a witch...."
"She is!" said Ilana with a straight face.
"We need to tell people about this girl," said Hyacinth.
"We do!" said Zine in agreement.
"And she's mean too!" Xiomara added.
Ilana nodded and said, "Yeah! She insulted me before and I hadn't even done her anything!"
Qinton gasped and remarked, "Get out!"
"WOW!" exclaimed Yetty. "She did that?!"
"She's a total witch!" said Xiomara. "She's mean and she's a liar!"
Yetty folded her arms and said, "We need to tell everyone about this."
"YEAH?!" said Ilana in a Gee! You think?! kind of tone.
Man... what had Herbertia gotten herself into? No... what had I gotten her into?

Back at Marta's house in Sanne, Tiane was kicking Mr. Grey across the floor.
"AH! AH!" screamed Mr. Grey.
Tiane then grabbed him by the head and slammed his face into the floor, making blood spill from his nose.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Mr. Grey yelled—this time even louder.
"LEAVE HIM ALOOOONE!" screamed Marta, coming towards Tiane with a flying kick, only for Tiane to grab her foot and throw her aside. "AH!" yelled Marta, hitting the front door before falling to the floor.
Tiane then ran towards Ram and Mrs. Grey who stood beside each other, and she exchanged punches between them. First, she hit Ram in the face, then Mrs. Grey in the face, over and over again. As they both fell to the floor, Tiane jumped up and landed feet-first on their stomachs. She jumped up and down, continuously, making Ram and Mrs. Grey cough blood again and again.
Mr. Grey ran at Tiane from behind.
Tiane threw her fist back, slamming it into Mr. Grey's face and sending him flying.
"AUGH!" yelled Mr. Grey.
Marta was just about to regain her balance... before Mr. Grey flew into her. "AUGH!" grunted Marta while falling back. "GAAAAH!" grunted Mr. Grey while falling on his daughter.
Tiane then picked up Ram and Mrs. Grey by their heads before throwing them into Mr. Grey and Marta, resulting in all four of them to painfully grunt and lay before the front door.
Before even one of them could move, Tiane sped towards them and started kicking against Mrs. Grey's back. Because she was in front of the other three, Tiane's kicks to Mrs. Grey made all four of them continuously impact against the door, grunting in pain as they did.
"Trying to kick out your own family?!" said Marta. "That's low, Tiane—even for you!"
"Heh..." scoffed Tiane before stomping her foot down on Marta's cheek.
"AH!" screamed Marta as three teeth fell from her mouth.
"MARTA!" cried Ram.
Tiane dragged her foot back and forth on Marta's face.
Ram continued, "STOP IT!" while jumping at Tiane to grab her in a body lock.
Tiane immediately fell to the floor, rolling around and constantly smashing Ram beneath her.
"AH! AH! AH!" cried Ram while Tiane rolled back and forth.
"WHEN WILL YOU STOP?!" said Mr. Grey, grabbing a lamp and busting it over Tiane's stomach—only to realize that it wouldn't work.
Tiane had stopped rolling just to watch as the lamp would shatter to pieces from her father's failed attempt.
"What?!" Mr. Grey exclaimed with wide eyes; one of them twitching. "But... HOW?!"
Tiane said, "Gee, I don't know!" She lifted her legs while going on to say, "Maybe I'm just too STRONG for you!" and kicked Mr. Grey upside the jaw.
"AH!" cried Mr. Grey as four teeth flew out from his mouth.
Tiane caused Ram to scream by elbowing her in the stomach. Then Tiane jumped up to punch Mr. Grey in the nose, making his blood fly onto the floor while he'd fall.
"DADDY!" cried Marta.
Tiane looked to Marta and happily teased her with saying, "PITIFUL! Twelve years old and you STILL call Chad 'daddy!' HAHA!"
"AT LEAST SHE HAS RESPECT!" said Mrs. Grey, coming out of nowhere to punch Tiane in the face.
Tiane smirked and bit her mother's fist.
Mrs. Grey screamed with wide eyes, "AAAAAAAH"
Then Tiane kicked her mother in the stomach. As Mrs. Grey bent forward, Tiane grabbed her by the hair and threw her on top of Mr. Grey, causing both parents to grunt in pain. Tiane laughed, "HA!" Then laughed again while saying, "Pathetic! You call yourselves threats?!" And laughed some more.
Ram struggled to regain balance, seeing as how weak she was from Tiane's assaults. Regardless, she managed to pull it off and charged Tiane from behind. "HAAAAAAAAAA!" she cried, punching Tiane in the back with her working hand.
Tiane turned her head and said, "I've already broken one of your hands.... How's about I break the other?!"
Ram watched with fear, seeing Tiane raise her hand to strike.
Marta cried, "NO!" and grabbed hold of Tiane's arm.
Tiane, however, was too physically strong to be confined by Marta's grip. She tossed Marta aside and sent her crashing into the back wall.
"AH!" screamed Marta before falling to the floor again.
"STOP HURTING MY FRIENDS!" said Ram, throwing a punch at Tiane again.
Tiane, much to Ram's shock, grabbed Ram's fist and said, "You know what? I'm getting a little tired of this routine! I think I'll just beat you to a bloody pulp, the same way I did to Marta!"
Ram's eyes widened in fear while Tiane laughed.
Tiane then pinned Ram to the floor.
"NO! RAM!" cried Marta, seeing how Ram was unable to move.
Tiane lifted her right fist with an evil smile and said, "Nighty-night!" before punching down on Ram's nose.
"AH!" screamed Ram while her nose bled.
"STOP IT!" cried Marta, running towards Tiane.
But Tiane did not turn around this time. Instead, she kicked her leg back at just the right moment to trip Marta and make her fall to the floor. This allowed Tiane to keep Ram pinned to the floor while she punched her face again, this time making Ram's mouth bleed in addition to her already injured nose.
"AAAAAAAAAAH!" cried Ram, even louder than before.
But Marta was not going to give up. She got up again, this time to see that Mr. and Mrs. Grey had already beat her to the 'punch.' In unison, they slammed their fists into Tiane's back, only for Tiane to turn her head with a very twisted smile and tell them, "You know what...?!" Mr. and Mrs. Grey stepped back in fear while Tiane went on to say, "I think I'll end this... once and for all!" Tiane maintained her grip on Ram's arm, slamming her at Mr. and Mrs. Grey, knocking them both to the side and onto the floor.
As Marta ran towards her older sister, Tiane slammed Ram forward, causing her to fall as well. Marta's mouth bled due to the intensity of the hit, making Tiane laugh at her pain.
"STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!" cried Ram. "YOU CAN'T USE ME AS A TOOL TO HURT MY FRIENDS!"
"DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO!" said Tiane before repeatedly punching Ram in the stomach.
"AH-AH-AH!" coughed Ram, foaming blood from the mouth while Tiane continued to punch her with joy.
"STOP IT!" said Marta, running towards Tiane again.
"MAKE ME STOP IT!" teased Tiane, slamming Ram across Marta's face again.
"AH!" cried Marta, falling to the floor with even more blood on her mouth.
"LET GO OF ME!" said Ram, punching at Tiane's stomach.
Tiane grabbed Ram's fist. Holding onto Ram's arm with her other hand, Tiane tightened her grip on both Ram's left arm and right fist, slowly bending them both in opposing directions. She laughed while Ram cried in great pain.
"AAAAAAAAAH!" cried Ram, feeling Tiane squeeze harder and harder. "AAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
From there, Mr. Grey grabbed Tiane in a head lock and said, "YOU MONSTER! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!"
"THAT'S IT!" said Mrs. Grey. "WE MUST CALL THE POLICE!" As she ran towards the phone on the table, Tiane quickly noticed and elbowed Mr. Grey in the gut.
"GAAAAAAH!" grunted Mr. Grey.
Then Tiane dropped Ram to the floor.
"AUUGH!" grunted Ram with closed eyes and a pained look.
Then Tiane sped after Mrs. Grey. Grabbing her in a head lock, Tiane stopped Mrs. Grey just an inch away from reaching the phone. "REACH FOR IT!" dared Tiane, squeezing her mother's neck harder and harder. "COME ON, WENCH! REACH FOR THE DARN PHONE!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" cried Mrs. Grey, unable to bear Tiane's forceful grip and began to struggling for oxygen.
Tiane reached for the phone and grabbed it off its hook. She held it to Mrs. Grey's face and teased, "Here! You want the phone...? Have it!" Tiane started slamming the phone into her mother's face, over and over again.
Mrs. Grey's mouth and nose bled while she cried, "AaaaaAAAAAAAAH!"
"LEAVE YOUR MOTHER ALOOOONE!" cried Mr. Grey, charging at Tiane and punching her in the back of the head.
Tiane flipped the phone over her shoulder, causing it to break through Mr. Grey's eye glasses he wore and bust his bare right eye.
"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" screamed Mr. Grey, holding his right eye in pain while shards of his glasses pelted the hardwood floor.
Ram, holding her already broken hand that was now in more pain, was unable to do anything at the moment.
It was up to Marta to get up off the floor and run towards Tiane. With a readied left fist and tears visible in her angered eyes, she cried, "STOP THIS MADNESS, YOU BEAST!"

Back at my school, classes were once again over for the day. While everyone else stood before the gate waiting for their parents or the bus to arrive, I sat in Sister Yedda's office to inquire about the singing I had planned for Xandra.
Sister Yedda puzzled with saying, "So... let me get this straight. You want to use the cafeteria on Friday?"
"Yes," I said, trying to remain calm as this was very scary for me.... Even with my social anxieties lifted, I knew better than to cross the head of this school.
"And... you and a group of students will sing for Xandra?"
"That's what we have planned."
"Hmmm..." she puzzled. "Well, will this song be appropriate for Our Lord's Appearance Catholic Church and School...?"
That I knew of, Xandra didn't listen to any songs that used coarse language or anything. I said, "That I am aware of, yes!"
"Well, alright then!" Then Sister Yedda opened her office door, peering her head out to several other students waiting in the hallway and told them, "He's the only one who's said he'll sing an 'appropriate' song. The rest of you... save it for the internet."
And with that, those several students looked down in disappointment and walked off.
Sister Yedda brought her head back inside the office and shut the door, continuing her conversation with me. She laughed with saying, "Now, I am okay with this..." then got serious. "But you will have to ask the cafeteria workers if they will agree!"
Pfft... no problem. If Sister Yedda accepted an idea like this, I knew the people she signed paychecks for would too. I said, "Will do, Sister Yedda!" I got up from my chair, holding out my hand for a handshake. "Well, it's been a pleasure talking with you!"
Sister Yedda stood up and shook my hand. "You too, Ikjot! You too. Oh, wait!" Sister Yedda turned her head, looking at her calendar and said, "Yes, Friday is tomorrow...."
"Tomorrow?!" I exclaimed. "Well then, it looks like I've got no time to waste. I'd better get on over to the cafeteria and ask those people, pronto!"
***
In the cafeteria, the people who'd serve the food were four women (a cougar, ostridge, two bears) and one man (a pelican).
One of those bears was Helena and Xandra's mother, Kyra Xaver. She worked at the school to help with the support of both Xandra and Helena.
A fifth woman was the gray cat cashier who would take student lunch tickets. She was seated at a register.
In either case, all six of these people would have to agree to my terms or else Xandra couldn't have her event. I walked into the cafeteria and saw the four women and one man in the back. They were putting away food, I supposed.
"Um... excuse me?" I said.
"Yes?" said Kyra while walking to me.
"I was wondering if the cafeteria would be available this Friday, possibly at three p.m." I would've said two p.m., but I wasn't sure if Mrs. Ives would have been willing to stop our class an hour early.
"Three o'clock p.m.?" Kyra repeated. "Hmmm. What's the occasion exactly?"
"Well, I was going to perform a song." Now... I didn't tell Kyra who the song was for, as I didn't want her to say something like Awwwww! You're performing a song for my daughter? That is soooo cute! That would have... been a little too embarrassing for me, even with this multi-colored pebble helping me out.
Kyra smiled and folded her arms with a smirk and curious brows. "A song? And did Sister Yedda agree to this?"
"All she told me was that she would if you would."
"Well, alright then! We agree."
"Sure!" said the pelican in the back.
"It sounds like fun!" said the ostridge.
"Are we going to have cake?" jokingly asked the cat cashier last.
I could only laugh because, seriously, there wasn't going to be any cake.

Somewhere in town, a mother ferret strolled her baby daughter towards a clothing store. She wore off-brown clothes with sewn patches and a baggy cap. Her long licorice hair wasn't shiny as it should've been since she... didn't have access to running water. And her daughter was just a very small ferret with a blue bonnet around her head. Little was the mother aware of three girls: Xandra, Wynfred and Yosef... who all hid behind the store, still dressed in their school uniforms and listening for the stroller to come closer and closer.
Yosef whispered, "I don't know about this, Xan. We're in our uniforms. What if she comes to the school after all this and points us out?"
Xandra giggled quietly and whispered, "Then we just tell the adults that we'd never seen that lady. They'll think she's crazy or whatever and trespass her off the property."
"Oh," whispered Wynfred, nodding while keeping her eyes on the mother and baby.
"I see," whispered Yosef, still looking at Xandra.
With the mother now passing the store's door, Xandra knew it was time to strike. Xandra whispered to her girls, "Okay, follow me."
"It's too bad we're homeless, Olivia..." said the mother, bearing a sad face to her child. "But don't worry... we'll have a home soon."
Olivia, holding her rattle, could only look her mother in the eyes with hope.
"Um, excuse me!" came Xandra's voice, catching the mother's attention.
The mother stopped strolling her baby and looked forward with curiosity, seeing Xandra and her girls before her, all with straight faces. With worry, the mother told those girls, "Um... can I help you?"
"We're from Our Lord's Appearance Catholic Church and School," said Xandra. "Have you heard of them?"
"Hmmm..." puzzled the mother. "I'm... not sure I have. I would be curious though if... the church could help my everyday situation." The mother looked down sadly. "Yet so far, it seems... they have not. I wish I could afford a better quality of living for my child, but... I just don't know what to do...."
Agreeing with her mother, Olivia nodded to Xandra and her girls.
"That is so sad...!" said Xandra with a sorrowful expression.
"Very sad!" said Wynfred, playing along.
Xandra continued with a sympathetic smile, "Well, our school is giving away food and clothes for the homeless today, right inside this store!"
"Really...?" puzzled the mother, widening her eyes with Olivia's.
Xandra said, "Yup! The more homeless people that take stuff home from here today, the more accurately the city's Diocese will be able to gauge exactly how many goods are needed for helping our homeless neighbors." Xandra pointed at the shop. "There will be many more events like these, so long as we get enough people to take items from here." She then politely lowered and folded her hands in front her skirt. "That or one person taking as many items as possible."
The mother said, "That sounds wonderful!" She strolled Olivia towards the store's front door. "I'll go inside and get some food and clothes for us immediately—"
"Uh, wait," said Xandra, grabbing the mother by her shoulder.
The mother stopped and curiously looked to Xandra, facing her since Xandra was pretty much as tall as the mother despite being younger.
At the same time, Xandra went on to tell the mother, "Before you go inside, you should probably leave the baby out here."
"Yeah," said Yosef. "They won't give you anything free if they see you have a kid."
"We could watch her while you go inside," suggested Xandra.
"Yeah," said Wynfred, nodding.
"Well..." said the mother, looking down at Olivia with curiosity.
Olivia smiled and shook her rattle, showing the mother that she trusted these three girls.
The mother hesitantly smiled and told the girls, "Well, okay!" Then she looked to Xandra. "If she starts crying, call me."
"We understand the perils of homelessness, dear ma'am..." sorrowfully said Xandra, looking the mother in her eyes. "We understand if she cries from it all. We'll most definitely let you know."
"Indeed," said Yosef, nodding sympathetically.
"You are such sweet girls," said the mother before walking to the door. "Bless your souls!" With that, she opened the door, walked into the store and closed the door behind her.
"Oh, we'll take good care of her..." said Xandra with a snicker.
"So what do we do now?" puzzled Wynfred.
Xandra replied, "Watch and learn...." She looked down at the baby and said, "Hey, Olivia! What's up?"
Olivia laughed in response, shaking her rattle with joy.
Xandra said, "Awwwww. So cute!" Then she looked over at Wynfred and Yosef, snickering while telling them, "Isn't she cute, girls?"
"Uh, yeah, she is!" said Wynfred, playing along.
"Absolutely, Princess Xandra," said Yosef, doing the same.
Xandra said, "Y'know... Piper called me by the name 'Xan' today. I was thinking that could be my nickname. Call me 'Xan' from now on."
"Sure, Xan!" said Yosef, nodding.
"Absolutely," said Wynfred with a nod too.
With a pleasant smile, Xandra said, "Yup!" Then she told Olivia, "You like that rattle, don't you...?"
Holding onto the rattle, Olivia giggled with a nod.
Xandra said, "Well..." then snatched it from Olivia's hand. "GIVE ME IT!"
Olivia was immediately shocked and started to grow a sad face, all while making a saddening sound with her voice. Her eyes became watery.
"Awwwwww?" teased Xandra. "You want this back?" Yosef and Wynfred giggled while Xandra continued, "Too bad!" Holding onto the rattle, she busted it against the store's outside wall.
Olivia made a loud cry, seeing how it had cracked from the impact.
Xandra, seeing Olivia's reactions, said "Awwwww! Look at that!" and held the rattle right in front of her, just so Olivia would see the crack up close. "Isn't it horrible? Your toy's wrecked, yo! Haha! Well... not yet." Xandra prepared to slam it forward again. "First, we gotta make this crack a little..." and she bashed it against the wall, "bigger!"
The rattle cracked even more, making Olivia cry even louder with more tears.
Xandra and her girls laughed while watching the baby become so upset.14Please respect copyright.PENANARogCw8XIFF
Xandra said, "Hey, Yosef! Bring her closer to watch the rattle!"
"I'm on it!" said Yosef, grabbing the stroller by its handles and moving Olivia closer to the rattle.
Xandra pointed and laughed at Olivia. "Look at her cry!"
"I know, right?" said Wynfred.
"Soooooo saaaaad," teased Xandra, pouting and trying to talk like a little baby herself. "Haha!" she laughed while bashing the rattle against the wall again, this time causing some pieces to fall.
Olivia cried even louder this time while Wynfred asked, "Wait! What if the mother hears her out here?"
Xandra replied, "Uh... yeah. This store has soundproof windows. Olivia here could cry louder than a passing airplane and her mom wouldn't even hear it."
"And the windows showing inside the store?" asked Yosef.
Xandra cleared her throat, expecting Yosef to conclude her sentence with one word.
"Uh... 'Xan?'" Yosef nervously concluded.
Xandra happily replied, "Lucky for us, the cashier at that desk is really a good friend of mine, like you guys."
"Awwww!" happily said Yosef with a blush.
"That's sweet!" happily said Wynfred.
"Woo! Yeah!" happily said Xandra, high-fiving them both. "You two are my homies! So, anyway, yeah! The cashier is more than dedicated to keeping that mom's eyes away from the window. If my guess is right..." and Xandra briefly turned her head, looking through the window. She saw that the gray mouse cashier had escorted the mother into the back, ensuring she wouldn't think of looking out the window to see what was going on. And even if that didn't work, the cashier would keep putting clothes in front of the mother's face to ensure she wouldn't see. "Yup!" Xandra said. "She'll be distracted for as long as we need her to be."
Inside the store, the cashier held another pair of clothing—this time a shirt—before the mother. The cashier was just a bit taller than Xandra, had long and very light-orange hair that was middle parted with a white headband, and wore a blue cardigan with a name badge that read KATIE. "What do you think?" the cashier Katie asked the mother. "Will you take this one?"
The mother gently pulled the shirt out of her face. "Listen, these are all very nice but... I haven't even seen any food in here, even though you told me there was. That and... I just feel like there's something wrong with my baby."
"Oh, nonsense!" said Katie with a smile. Placing her hand on the mother's chest, she continued, "I'm sure your baby is doing fine."
The mother shook her head with worry and said, "I don't know...." She walked past Katie and said, "Maybe I should go check on her—"
"Nonsense!" Katie said with a smile, grabbing the mother by the shoulders. She escorted her to more clothes and continued, "You should continue shopping for clothes for your child. You don't want her to catch a cold out there. I mean, now that it's September, winter shouldn't be too far away from now."
"It's still fall," said the mother, flipping around and grabbing Katie's hands, stopping herself from being moved. She went walking again and said, "I'll just be a minute."
But Katie was persistent. She walked in front of the mother, spread out her arms and said, "Nope! You should stay here and continue your shopping!"
"Listen, I really want to check on my kid."
"Your kid is in the safe hands of sweet girls from a private school." Then Katie folded her arms. "You should trust them!"
"I know, but... what if they're not—"
Katie gasped and interrupted in saying, "You think they're fakes?! Dear lady, how could you even think such a thing! Why, they're wearing their school uniforms!"
"Anyone can put on fake uniforms and be thugs...."
"Oh, what are you saying...? Are you saying that they aren't really from a private school...?"
The mother nodded. "Yes! That's exactly what I'm saying!"
"Wow.... No need to get mad. I'm just saying—"
"You know what...? I don't have time for this...." The mother pushed Katie aside and walked forward. "Get out of my way."
"Wow..." said Katie, grabbing the mother by her left shoulder. "That wasn't very nice."
The mother looked to her with anger. "Oh...? You haven't seen the half of it."
"No, I think I have.... Why don't you chill out?"
The mother slapped Katie's hand away. "I'm going to check on my child and that is that!"
As the mother walked towards the front of the store, Katie stepped in front of her again and said, "No you're not. Come on, let's just keep shopping!"
"I said let me go!" commanded the mother before pushing Katie to the floor.
Katie groaned and looked to a box on her left. Inside of it were some shoes, pants and sweaters. Grabbing one of the sweaters, Katie got up and put it in front of the mother's face.
"AH!" screamed the mother while Katie tied the sweater in a knot, as though it were an alternative blindfold. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" panicked the mother, walking in all sorts of directions. "I CAN'T SEE!"
"You're darn right you can't," said Katie, pinning the mother against the wall.
"HELP! HELP!" panicked the mother. But with soundproof windows all over the store, no one would hear her cries for rescue.
Outside of the store, Xandra once again smashed the rattle against the wall, laughing as Olivia cried from it breaking even more. "You like that?" teased Xandra. "Nah! Of course you don't. You hate this..." and Xandra laughed while showing Olivia the now even more destroyed rattle, "but that's why I'm doin' it!" Olivia kept crying while Xandra teased, "Awwwww.... Just look at it!" Some chippings fell off the rattle. "Isn't it just damaged beyond repair...?" Xandra pointed and laughed at Olivia who cried even louder. "LOOK AT HER CRY!" laughed Xandra.
"What a loser!" teased Wynfred.
"Too bad about your rattle, huh, Olivia?" teased Yosef.
"Oh, she's really gonna hate this...!" said Xandra before smashing the rattle against the wall, over and over again.14Please respect copyright.PENANAxr8AodWfkH
Olivia could only cry louder and louder, seeing her beloved rattle slowly smash into pieces with every strike while Xandra would continue to point and laugh at her pain.
After ten smashes against the wall, the only thing left of the rattle was its handle—but the ball was shattered into tiny pieces on the ground.
"Awwww," teased Xandra to Olivia who was now crying louder than ever, "look at that." Xandra shook the handle before the baby's eyes and continued, "It's all gone...."
And that made Olivia cry even more.
Xandra then noticed something next to Olivia. "Hmmm, what's this?" she puzzled, seeing a brown stuffed teddy bear in the crib. "Ewwww, how creepy! Yosef, Wynfred, come see this."
Yosef walked in front of the stroller, looked at the toy bear and said, "Creepy? It's just a teddy!"
"Yeah!" said Wynfred, folding her arms while standing beside Yosef.
Xandra looked up in a snooty way, telling them, "Well, I'm a bear and I feel stalked by this kid." She sternly turned her head back down, looking down at Wynfred and Yosef. "The teddy's goin' down."
Though reluctant to abide, Wynfred said, "Oh, okay, fiiiine."
Yosef looked Xandra's way and said, "But... Xan, that bear is probably the only bit of joy Olivia has left."
Xandra elatedly exclaimed, "All the more reason to take it!" Then Xandra grabbed the teddy bear by its legs and held it upside down.
Olivia cried even more, reaching her hands forward and basically saying, in baby language, Give it back!
"Now let's see..." said Xandra to Olivia, "what can I do with this rattle handle... and this bear...?" Xandra pinpointed the handle to the bear's head and asked her crew, "What do you think, girls?"
"Xan, please!" pled Wynfred.
"She's had enough!" pled Yosef.
Xandra closely observed the crying Olivia and smiled, saying, "I don't care! This brat's been stalkin' me, she's creepy n' she's gonna pay." And Xandra prepared to stab the bear's head. "Watch me kill your friend! Haha!"
Olivia kept begging with her crying for Xandra to stop.
Xandra responded by shoving the rattle's handle right between the teddy bear's eyes, causing stuffing to pour out all over the ground. Olivia could only scream and cry even louder as Xandra showed the bear right to her face. And Xandra whooped, "WOOOO!" and said, "YEAH! Look at that!" while enjoying how Olivia cried from seeing her precious teddy bear's face ruined by the impalement. Xandra, keeping the bear up-close to Olivia, continued, "Now let me think... what do I do from here? Oh, of course!" Xandra began pulling the handle south, causing a long split to form down the bear's body.
Olivia was turning red in the face as she continued to cry, watching her only toy being destroyed and its stuffing falling everywhere.
In the process, Xandra laughed at Olivia's pain and kept pulling the handle down, nice and slowly, just to prolong that poor teddy bear's destruction, as well as the poor baby's sorrow. "Do you like it...?" teased Xandra. "HUH?! Do you like it?! Of course not! That's why I'm doin' it! Haha!" Then finally, Xandra fully slid the handle down the bear's body, causing its remaining stuffing to fall all over the pavement.
Olivia cried louder than ever, filled with great sadness over the loss of her only toy. Knowing she was unable to even crawl, let alone walk, Olivia was unable to stop Xandra. All she could do was cover her eyes at this point if she didn't want to see any more bad things happen to her bear.
Noticing that Olivia closed her eyes, Xandra said, "Hey, Yosef!"
"Y-Yeah... Xan?" Yosef replied, visibly uneasy about how far this was going.
Xandra laughingly told her, "Don't be stuttering; that's dorky!" She snapped her fingers, smiling as she said, "Anyway, I need you to make sure she keeps her eyes open."
Yosef puzzled on how she would do that, considering the fact that Olivia had them closed. "Um... do you want me to tickle her?"
"Ewwww, tickle? And risk the baby havin' some kind of joy through all this? No dice. I want her experiencin' only sorrow n' pain. Be mean about it. Just pry her eyes open with your fingers."
Yosef paused with shock to that command. "You... want me to do what?"
"...Uh, Yosef... you do speak English, right?"
"But... Xan—"
Xandra once again used her sad pout and puppy-dog eyes.
Yosef said, "Oh, okay!" She moved her hand towards Olivia's face, touched the baby's left hand... and tried to move it away from her face.
But Olivia was too reluctant to let Yosef do that.
Yosef said, "Um... she won't budge."
"Um... so make it move?" rudely replied Xandra. "Yosef, you're literally nine years older than this kid."
"Xan, this is crazy!" pled Wynfred.
Xandra laughed, "I know, right?!" She told Yosef, "COME ON! DO IT!"
Yosef and Wynfred both knew they had to do anything it took to be on good terms with Xandra, the highest of the cool in their class. It was because they knew this that they knew better than to refuse any of her orders, no matter what those orders would be. This is exactly why they would never go so far as to refuse her orders after she'd already feigned sadness; and it was also why Yosef had no choice but to hold down both of the baby's hands by force, making sure that Olivia wouldn't be able to move them.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" cried Olivia while Yosef commanded to Wynfred, "HEY! I can't do this all by myself! Open her eyes!"
"Whaaaaat?" puzzled Wynfred.
"JUST DO IT!" said Yosef, visibly getting agitated.
Wynfred adhered to Yosef's orders and used her fingers to push open Olivia's eyes, regardless of how much the baby struggled to keep them closed.
Though Olivia cried in pain from both of their actions, the girls knew they had no choice but to do this if they wanted to maintain their coolness. Wynfred turned to Xandra and said, "Okay... we're done with this kid, Xan."
"Nuh-uh!" said Xandra. "First, I've gotta rip this bear to shreds...." Then she looked Olivia in the eyes. "Isn't that right, loser...?" Olivia's only response was to continuously cry while Xandra said, "Don't blink. This will only hurt forever...." Then Xandra started stabbing holes into the bear from all over, using the rattle handle. As Olivia cried louder and louder, unable to close her eyes again, Xandra kept stabbing holes into various parts of the toy. From its nose, to its head, to its arms, to its legs, to its stomach, to all parts that Olivia could see before her, the bear was being butchered by Xandra. And Xandra just kept stabbing that bear, enjoying the fact that it kept Olivia so upset. Xandra said, "Now I'm gonna start rippin' off limbs!" Using the handle, Xandra struck the bear's left leg and said, "Let's start from the bottom!" before ripping it off. Olivia screamed and cried while Xandra slid the handle over to the next leg. Xandra whooped, "WOOOO!" and said, "YEAH, WE'RE GETTIN' THERE!" Using the handle again, Xandra ripped the bear's leg off, making Olivia cry even more. "YEAH!" cheered Xandra before putting the bear closer to Olivia's face. "Look at that! WOW! This bear sure is gettin' dismantled, isn't she?!" Xandra whooped, "WOO!" and said, "Alright!" while gliding the handle up to the bear's right arm. "Now we're gonna take off her arms!" With that, as the baby continued to cry, Xandra used the handle to slice off the bear's arm, sending it and a lot of stuffing to the ground. She whooped again and said, "Yeah! How's THAT for awesome?!"
Wynfred and Yosef looked at each other. Their eye contact was enough to communicate the pain they felt for what this child was going through.14Please respect copyright.PENANAFkG4AN9S1R
Xandra slid the handle towards the bear's other arm and said, "This time, I'm gonna make a limb fall into your CRIB, creep!"
Olivia lost her mind with crying.
Xandra said, "Here it goes!" She used the handle to slice the bear's arm and tons of stuffing right before Olivia's feet.
Olivia's face was just turning redder and redder while her crying grew louder and louder.
At the same time, Xandra happily got down in the baby's face and shouted, "Now before I rip your little friend's head off, I'm gonna put all her body parts in your crib, creep!" Placing the handle in the same hand she held the bear with, Xandra used her available hand to pick up the bear's right leg and hold it before Olivia's face. And Xandra laughed in her face while saying, "It's so awesome you can't close your eyes! Awwwwwwww!" Still smirking and speaking a bit calmer, she told Olivia, "Now I get to show you whatever I want." And Xandra just kept the bear's right leg in close view while telling the child, "Haha! Look at your friend's leg.... See how she no longer has it?" With that, Xandra dropped it by Olivia's feet.
Olivia's crying grew louder while she kicked her feet up and down, unable to move her arms and eyes due to Yosef and Wynfred.
Xandra reached down and lifted up the bear's left leg, holding it in plain sight for Olivia while saying in a cheering voice, "YA! Look at that! WOO!" Then throwing it near Olivia's feet, Xandra said, "Here!" And she laughed, getting in the child's face, "Play with your new toy!" Then Xandra giggled, "Hehehehe!" while reaching for the bear's right arm. Picking it up and holding it before Olivia, Xandra loudly teased, "OH, LOOK! YOUR BEAR LOST HER POOR ARM!" Xandra then cheered, "WOO!" while throwing that arm by Olivia's feet. She then struck the bear by its neck and laughingly teased, "Now here goes her head! Yeah!" Xandra laughed as Olivia screamed for mercy, watching Xandra slowly slit the bear's head off. Xandra wanted to give as much detail of the brutality as possible to the baby's poor eyes. Xandra whooped, "WOOOOOO!" while still slowly ripping off the bear's head with the rattle handle and said, "Yeah!"14Please respect copyright.PENANArAJnNDDeOC
Finally, the bear's head fell off, as did a lot of stuffing, before Olivia's feet.
How are there no police coming to stop this by now? thought Yosef, truly confused. Or... anyone else tryin' to stop us for that matter?
But there were police.... They were just sitting in a parked car way down the street. They seemed distracted, staring up at the sky through their windshield. The reason they stared was because imagery of space and its floating stars played in their minds.
Thanks again, Tiane, thought Xandra, briefly smirking the way of where she knew those cops were. And there was a flashback:
Tiane took her last step before standing beside Xandra and those two big, muscular guards. Tiane bowed to Xandra and said, "I take it that number I did on the one called 'Ikjot'... was to your likin'?" And she smirked. "Heh."
Smiling with folded arms and leaning against a building wall, Xandra looked to that woman and said, "Not just to my liking, but it even made me laugh." Xandra then approached the woman, shook hands with her and said, "Now that you're onboard... let's get to that favor we discussed?"
Tiane nodded, keeping a smile while she said, "Yeah, like I said, I don't really use this whole 'mind control' thing." Tiane closed her eyes, lowering her head slightly. She lifted her right hand and rubbed it down her face while saying, "Open." And once her hand was away from her face, a glowing and round light appeared at the center of Tiane's forehead. She then lifted both hands, rubbing them down her face again and said, "Release." And with that, the light at the center of Tiane's head became a green hologram of her own brain.
The hologram then gravitated towards a smiling Xandra, stopping soon enough before her face.
"Alright," Tiane told her. "Now you say 'brains' but backwards, and you have to say this six times."
Xandra's two guards stood there in awe, not believing what they were seeing.
Touching her index finger and thumb to her chin, Xandra curiously said, "Huh, interesting. Hmm.... sniarB. sniarB. sniarB. sniarB. sniarB. sniarB." And for each time she spoke the word backwards, the hologram emitted ever-increasing winds blowing around her.14Please respect copyright.PENANAttskdbftIn
Then the hologram of Tiane's brain shaped itself to the same width and height of Xandra's body. And within three seconds, that reshaped hologram phased itself into Xandra.
***
No longer in a flashback, Xandra thought, I'd be in the future makin' my mark with this power right now. Stupid Ikjot and his dumb time machine. Then she smirked. Oh well, 2005 it is then.
Olivia, this whole time, just couldn't stop crying, now more than ever.
Looking down at Olivia again, Xandra laughed, "HAHAHAHA!" Then holding what remained of the bear's body, Xandra told the child, "I believe this is your creepy toy..." and threw it before Olivia's feet. "Well... what's left of it anyway."
Olivia's only response was to keep crying as she couldn't close her eyes from the horror of watching her bear be destroyed.
To Wynfred and Yosef, Xandra said, "Keep holdin' onto her. Don't let her close her eyes until I feel she's savored the moment of seein' her bear completely destroyed."
"Yes, Xan," said Wynfred.
"We will do exactly as you say," said Yosef.
Seeing what remained of her bear, Olivia just kept crying. So many tears in her eyes had fallen by now that the whole front of her body was soaking wet. Her face was red as an apple while her eyes shined with water. And her crying didn't lower in volume; it remained nice and loud since she was so upset from this experience.
Xandra laughed, "Haha! Look at how upset she is!" She then told Wynfred and Yosef, not facing them while her keeping eyes on the baby, "Alright, you two can release her now."
With that, Yosef let go of Olivia's arms, and Wynfred let go of her eyelids, both of which Olivia could immediately move again.
Olivia closed her eyes and kept crying, rolling around in her crib with great sorrow and pain. Her tears would continue to fall so long as she continued to be sad, only for Xandra to laugh at and enjoy it.
"Hahaha! What a dweeb! Haha!" laughed Xandra, covering her mouth with one hand while using the other to point at the child's face. Then she looked through the window of the store, seeing that Olivia's mother had been blindfolded by the cashier Katie.
The mother walked around in circles and kept falling all over herself, only for Katie to laugh in response.
To Wynfred and Yosef, Xandra said, "Hey, y'all, our work ain't done yet."
"Hm...?" puzzled Wynfred.
"What is next, Xan?" asked Yosef.
Looking down to the baby with a smile, Xandra said, "Hey, Olivia... we're gonna bring you inside the store to watch your mom get beaten bloody, okay?"
Olivia couldn't really understand words so much as she could actions. Regardless, she was still too upset over the loss of her rattle and her teddy bear to even listen to Xandra.
With disgust for ignoring her, Xandra said, "I hate when stupid kids don't listen to their elders...." She picked up Olivia by the legs, holding her upside down, much to the shock of Wynfred and Yosef.
"Xan, be careful!" warned Yosef.
Wynfred warned, "You don't want any blood rushin' to her head."
"Uh... and I care why?" asked Xandra, keeping a straight face with her eyes on Olivia. She then slapped the baby's back, shouting, "LISTEN, YOU STUPID BABY!" And Olivia cried even louder, now feeling a stinging pain while Xandra slapped her back again and continued, "I'M IN CHARGE HERE!"
And Olivia cried even more.
Xandra went on to shout, "WHEN I SAY SOMETHING, YOU LISTEN!" Then Xandra slapped Olivia's back again. "Now we're gonna go inside... and you're gonna watch your MOM..." and Xandra continuously slapped her back, "get... beat... up! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" And Xandra stopped slapping.
Olivia's only response was to cry more than ever, feeling the pain from Xandra's strikes.
Though Wynfred and Yosef both felt uneasy about what was going on, this whole experience taught them one thing: They would have to accept anything Xandra did, no matter how evil, if they wished to be one of the cool girls. What other choice did they have? Xandra, as said again and again, was the highest of the cool in their class—possibly soon to be the highest of the cool in the entire school, thanks to my diary scam.
Setting the baby back in her crib in the stroller, Xandra said, "I hope you understand that I hate repeatin' myself.... We're gonna go in that store and you're gonna watch your mama get beaten! Am I clear?!"
Olivia's only response was to keep crying.
Xandra said, "Good enough." Then signaled to Wynfred and Yosef and said, "Let's go...." Xandra then led them into the store, strolling Olivia inside.
"XANDRA!" exclaimed the cashier Katie with joy, running to Xandra while the mother kept falling all over the place.
Xandra said, "It's Xan now and WOOOOO! WHAT'S UP, KATIE?!"
Hugging Xandra, Katie replied, "KEEPIN' IT REAL AS ALWAYS, XAN!"
The mother, still trying to feel where she was going, exclaimed, "WHAT?! YOU TWO KNOW EACH OTHER?! I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS WHOLE THING WAS A SET-UP! WHERE'S MY BABY?!"
Olivia then started crying louder than before.
"OLIVIA?!" the mother realized. "MOMMY'S HERE, SWEETIE!" she said while walking forward, trying to follow her child's voice.
Katie, playfully pretending to be sad, said, "Xandra...? This woman's not bein' a very nice customer. No matter what I try to give her, she just won't take it."
"I DON'T CARE FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO GIVE!" yelled the mother. "ALL I WANT IS OLIVIA AND I WANT HER NOW!"
Xandra shyly laughed and said, "Hey, Katie, beat this woman to a bloody pulp. Wynfred, Yosef, make sure you keep the kid's eyes open to watch it."
"Right!" said Wynfred and Yosef, nodding.
Katie made a small laugh and walked towards the woman. Keeping a smile, she said, "Excuse me, miss... but I'm afraid if you don't know how to respect store employees, I'll have to teach it to you."
Struggling to rip off the blindfold, the mother said, "SHOOT! What do I have to DO to get rid of this thing?! I can't defend myself if I can't see!" And the mother groaned in frustration.
Katie, now standing before the mother, pulled back her fist and said, "Mind if I help you...?" As the mother continued to struggle with the blindfold, Katie swung her fist forward with a, "Hi-YAH!"
The mother was slugged right in the nose and sent to the floor.
While Olivia cried with fear, Xandra and her girls cheered and laughed with joy.
The mother, now having a bloody nose, slowly regained balance. She looked from side to side, not knowing where Katie would strike next.
Katie walked around the mother and laughed before saying, "You know, it's kinda dumb to try defending yourself when you don't even know where your opponent is." Katie stopped behind the mother and said, "Here, I'll show you," before pushing her down to the floor.
The girls laughed while the baby cried, as the mother struggled to regain balance.
Katie, waiting for the mother to stand again, hand gestured her to come forth for another round.
As the mother finally regained balance, she looked around again, hoping to face the right direction when she would throw a punch at Katie. Unfortunately, she punched the air... because Katie was standing right beside her.
Katie swung her fist into the mother's face, knocking her to the floor again.
Xandra and her girls laughed while Xandra teasingly said, "WOW! You're gettin' pretty old in your age, huh, 'Mom?!' Hahaha!"
As for Olivia, she had no choice but to keep crying. Watching her mother be brutalized and unable to defend herself was just too much to stay calm about....
Concluding Xandra's tease to the mother, Katie said, "Yeah! Why don't you get up?"
The mother slowly leaned up from the floor, breathing heavily and bleeding even more from the nose. Slowly but surely, she once again regained balance.
Hand gesturing for the mother to come forth again, Katie said, "Come on, let's go."

Back at Nydia's trailer, Nydia laid on her sofa, still crying into the pillow. For her clothing, she was in her normal clothes (not her school uniform) which was a green T-shirt, brown pullover jacket, short blue jeans and white moccasins.
Nydia's older brother, sitting on a chair in the corner, got up and walked to her. He was a rather round raccoon with bowl-cut orange hair and round glasses, wearing a dark-red T-shirt and grayish baggy shorts with brown sandals. Back in the clothing store around seven o'clock at night, Olivia was screaming and crying. Xandra and her girls were laughing, enjoying the fact that Olivia's mother was now on the floor and beaten bloody in the face.
Katie, hand gesturing for Olivia's mother to come forth again, was standing before the beaten mother and teasingly said, "Wanna get up again...?"
The mother's only response was a feeble groan, seeing as how she was too weak to move at this point.
"Come on," Katie continued teasing her. "Don't you wanna fight me?"
Still laughing, Xandra said, "Add ease, Katie!"
"Hm...?" puzzled Katie.
Xandra continued, "Okay, here's your review: I like how you would wait until she got up, just to make her fall again. I also enjoyed watchin' Olivia cry as her mother got beat-up! That was awesome and so cool!"
Katie said with a sweet smile, "Awwww! I always do my best to please, Xan!"
Also with a sweet smile, Xandra replied, "Well, you always do a perfect job, homie! And you're gorgeous!"
Katie hugged Xandra and said, "Aw, thanks!"
Also hugging Katie, Xandra replied, "No problem!" She signaled to Olivia's mother and continued with a laugh, "I mean, just look at how BLOODY her face is! Olivia here will be cryin' all night over it!"
Indeed, Olivia kept crying. She just couldn't stop. She just couldn't help it. If you were a little baby, could you?
Realizing something, Xandra continued with a straight face, "Oh, one more thing: Break her mom's legs."
The mother's eyes widened with fear while Katie replied, "As you wish, Xan."
"Noooooo!" cried the mother, and her baby kept crying too. "No, pleeeeeeeeeease!" the mother kept begging the girls not to do what they intended.
"COME ON, DO IT!" laughed Xandra.
"OKAY!" laughed Katie before jumping up, then down onto the mother's knees—so hard that she crushed every last bone in them.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" cried the mother while Xandra and her girls laughed at the poor woman's pain.
Having finished the job, with Olivia crying more than ever, Katie stood up and asked, "So, we'll just leave them here in pain?"
Still laughing with her girls, Xandra had to find a way to calm herself from all the cackling and said, "Ye-Yeah! I'll... ahaha... enjoy a little baby bein' left in a dark store all night to cry over seein' her battered mom!" And Xandra still laughed a little more. "Oh, and I do mean dark, by the way. Turn off the lights when we leave, since she's probably scared of the dark and all. It'll add to the pain she's already feelin' over her mom."
"But wait, will she still be able to see this lady...?" puzzled Katie. "We don't want the dark to take away this brat's full visual quality of her beaten mother."
Unamused, Xandra replied, "Um... your idea is so not better than the one I have, if that's what you're thinkin'."
With a nervous laugh, Katie replied, "But of course not, Xan!"
Holding her hands on her hips with her nose to the air, Xandra said, "I've got a better idea. Why not we just leave the lights on? That way, the little brat won't be deprived of seein' her beaten mom as clear as possible."
"That's what I said!" said Katie.
"I know," said Xandra, "but it's better when I come up with the good ideas."
With a smile and while Xandra looked back at her, Katie rolled her eyes and said, "Of course...."
Xandra said, "DON'T ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME!" Then Xandra laughed.
"Yes, Xan!" said Katie, this time with respect.
Xandra laughed some more in reply. She then looked down to Olivia with a smile and said, "Hey, Olivia! If you think you've got pain now, just wait 'til we leave you here in the store all by yourself, having no one else to look at but your brutalized mama." Olivia cried even more while Xandra teased, "Awwwwww. You don't like that, do you? GOOD! Keep crying'! YEAH! KEEP CRYING!" and laughed.
Remembering something, Wynfred's eyes widened while she said, "Hey, Xan, we've got homework due tomorrow.... Let's get home."
"I'm in charge!" said Xandra. "Anyway, we've got homework to do, so... let's head home."
"That's what I said!" said Wynfred.
"Yeah, but it's better when I say it."
Wynfred rolled her eyes and replied, "Of course—"
"Um... what did I just say about eye-rollin'?"
"Sorry, Xan," Wynfred apologized, looking down while scrubbing one of her sandals around a floor tile.
Xandra hugged Wynfred and said, "Aw, it's cool, bestie! I forgive ya'!" She then looked to Olivia and said, "Well, hope you suffer all night, creepy kid." She walked to the door with the other girls and cleared her throat, waiting for them to do something.
"Oh, right!" said Wynfred, opening the door for Xandra.
Holding her nose in the air, Xandra walked out with Yosef and Katie following from behind.
Once they all headed out, Wynfred, one last time, looked to the damage they had done.
Katie said, "Hey, Wynfred, don't forget to turn off the light!"
Wynfred replied, "Oh! Sure, Katie!" and turned off the light before closing the door behind herself.
From there, with the girls gone, Olivia and her mother were left in the store to their pain. Olivia could do nothing but cry at the sight of her bloody, beaten mother.
The mother could do nothing but lay on the floor, weak and unable to move anymore. She couldn't even see Olivia... because the sweater was still tied around her face. All she could do was remember how Katie kept sending her to the floor, whether it was a punch, slap or a push. She also remembered how Xandra and her girls would laugh while she suffered this abuse, as well as their collective laughter from Olivia's sadness. All of these thoughts gave the mother the strength she needed to weakly say only one word: "Monsters...."

Around an hour later, Xandra was home and on the phone with Piper while doing her homework. Xandra said, "Man, homework bites...."
"Oh my gosh!" said Piper. "I know, right?! I hate it—OW!"
"What's up?"
"I cut my finger on a piece of paper...."
"Oh. Hey, you know who else bites? Yosef and Wynfred!" Xandra laughed. "I mean, really! Those two are such losers!"
"Wow.... Girl, you're talking about your own clique members that way?"
"Yeah and I like it!" she laughed again. "You're cool though, Piper. I mean, you're awesome!"
"Yeah, but not as awesome as you!"
"Awwww, thank you so much, Piper! I'd say we're equally awesome; how about that?!"
Piper elatedly squealed and said, "You're so sweet, Xan! Equally awesome for both of us it is!" Piper calmed herself, still super happy. "So we're friends then?"
"Girl, you know it! Well, I'll talk to you later. Dad wants me to take out the trash; says he'll take my phone privileges away again if I don't."
"Wow, what a bummer! No one cool as you should have to do something like that! Taking out trash?! Yuck!"
"I know, right? Well, bye! See you at school tomorrow."
"You too, bud! See ya'!"
With that, Xandra and Piper hung up at the same time. Xandra then thought, Heh. Piper you're so easy to fool like the rest. She reached for the floor, picking up a small and pink book that had the nickname 'Xan' surrounded by drawn sparkles and written on its cover—this was her real diary. She popped open a plastic lock around the book, causing it to open. On the back of the book was a pink pen attached, which she would use to write in her diary. Grabbing this, she wrote:
Dear diary... I can't believe this loser, this... Ikjot, of all vermin... is responsible for me repeatin' these times of mine all over again. I will say though, hurtin' a child and mother was new for me and felt nice. Hehe.
Yeah, it's true, I've always had a good laugh in ruinin' people's lives... but then I lost my dad... and had to endure my vicious aunts without daddy... bein' around to protect me.
You think this is funny, Ikjot? Makin' me have to live like some vulnerable peasant all over again? As for what disrespected me, it wasn't you not replyin' to us when we asked you who you liked in our school... but the fact you've made me have to relive my dad's death... and the tyranny of my evil aunts all over again... that's what you've done to cross me, boy, and I'll punish ya for it.
But hey... at least I'm still makin' you live with guilt over somethin' you didn't do. You didn't hurt me or even make me feel small. I just wanted to waste your time again n' so far it's given me a good laugh! Haha!
You returned to 2005, Ikjot, because you thought you could turn this negative past of yours into something positive... that'd no longer haunt you.14Please respect copyright.PENANASVFfc9pqa4
Meanwhile, I'll have to relive the death of my daddy in 2007 all over again... because of you. I'll have to relive what this house was like under the rule of my aunts all over again when daddy was no longer around to protect me from them... because of you. If your happy ending comes at the expense of me havin' to suffer this way all over again... I'll turn this little timeline of yours into the greatest nightmare that'd frighten even Satan. And you, Ikjot... will not escape it.
With much sufferin' n' ruined lives to come,
Xandra D.
And Xandra gave a small smile. Her eyes were shadowed darkly. And having completed her daily entry, she slid the pen back into its slot, closed the book, locked it, slid it under her bed and got back to writing on her homework worksheet.

The next day at school, everyone stood outside in their respective class lines, waiting for the bell to ring. Me, Herbertia and 1098 had already arrived by seven-forty a.m.—or at least around that time frame. And in Herbertia's sixth grade line, something weird was going on....
"Hi, Ilana!" said Herbertia.
Ilana responded by turning away, folding her arms and keeping her nose in the air.
Herbertia replied, "Uh... I said..." and shouted in Ilana's ear, "HI!"
"YEAH-YEAH-YEAH! HI, LIAR!" said Hobbs, annoyed, from behind Herbertia.
Looking to him, Herbertia exclaimed, "LIAR?! Who you callin' a liar, BUB?!"
"You, bub!" said Azure. "You're a capital L-I-A-R! Why can't you just be like Xandra and her girls who are honest?! YOU'RE just evil and like being mean to people!"
"WHAT THE HECK?!" exclaimed Herbertia. "WHO TOLD YOU THAT?!"
It starts... thought 1098 with worry.
Meanwhile in my fifth grade line, I looked to the front gates when Xandra said, "Oh, look... here comes Nydia."
Indeed, Nydia was approaching our line. I couldn't help but wonder, however, why she kept her head down with sadness. All she could face was the ground while people, in secret, began talking to each other about her.
"Great..." said a fourth grade girl kinkajou student, unamused. "It's that weirdo, Nydia."
"Can't she just die and be done with it?" whispered a seventh grade girl rabbit student.
"If there's two people I hate, it's Herbertia and her," said Xiomara.
"Yeah," said Hyacinth, "but Herbertia's worse."
Orabel happily said, "True.... At least Nydia's open about who she is: Being a total weirdo!" And Orabel's insult made the other girls laugh.
Nydia only flashed a snare to Orabel in response, and I couldn't believe Orabel was actually that mean! I don't get it; were they... still going to be mean to Nydia despite me being a different Ikjot this time around?
Leaning down to me, Xandra pointed to Nydia and said, "Ikjot, stay away from this girl at all costs. She pushes little kids off of swings and walks around the school being a bully!"
My eyes widened in shock to that statement while Wynfred told me, "Yeah, and she speaks to the devil when no one's looking!"
WOW! What accusations! But will Ikjot believe these lies?
And what about Herbertia's rep? Thanks to her taking a fall for Ikjot, she's made more enemies than she can count! What is her fate from here...? There's only one way to find out: Don't miss the next chapter of Something!
***
Xandra told Piper, "We're gonna make her pay, and I've got a plan."
In the next chapter of Something... Xandra's once again up to no good! She wants to unjustly hurt Nydia! Will anyone stop her evil scheme?!
"You... monster...!" said Ram, still weak and unable to move.
And Tiane's gonna spend and eat her own family out of house and home if no one stops her either! Don't miss it... next Something!
