I thank all that made posts to my contest. I award the third place medal to Tenzy who wrote The Devouring within. It was an interesting work of body horror which encapsulates the worry and fear surrounding pregnancy quite well.

I award the second place medal to Kakakarrotkake (That took a while to type out) who wrote a walk in the woods. It uses the fear of the unknown to create a sense of dread and it has a nice payoff for a work of horror.

And for the first place medal I award Ashy_Haze for her work "You're not my mom" She takes on a unique premise of a threat using deception to get close to its victims. Its a psychologically thrilling story and the pay off is very good for the few sentences provided.
