Psionic energy exists; it must exist in some form in order to explain the possibilities of psionic powers demonstrated to the AVPSI. {The AVPSI has observed, demonstrated, and documented psionic ability usage in themselves and all other Altiri, leading to the current general conclusion that psionic energy itself whether pure or in altered form does exist, as do psionic abilities.} However, the classification of these energy waves and its properties is a complex understanding. The AVPSI has already confirmed that these energy waves exist, primarily in an unseeable, undetectable (to technological equipment) format which passes through The Astral Plane and back into the interaction of the person of interest. These waves are projected from a particular section of the brain, (referred to as The Cora Sector), and then these projections can echo back information to the user in real time (using echo-return data). Generally, these psionic energy waves have no actual effect on other energy signatures according to the current laws of physics, and in effect cannot be determined or detected by any digital equipment (though equipment can still affect the signals themselves). These energy waves have no effect on any radio or EM-waves, gravity, matter, quantum entanglement, or time itself. Since they pass through the Astral Plane, a dimension higher up than the known physical world, there is no delay in time frame for these energy waves to travel. Nothing can interrupt these energy waves. However, there are forces (discussed later) that can disrupt or inhibit the projection-power of The Cora Sector. These energy waves are both sent out, (sometimes unconsciously by The Cora Sector of the brain), and are also received by the same part of the brain. More capable Scions can therefore produce stronger and better sustained psionic signals and more easily receive weaker signals.
