Harun adalah anak tunggal. Keluarga Harun adalah keluarga yang kaya untuk ukuran kampung. Keluarga mereka mempunyai berhektar-hektar tanah, puluhan sapi, ratusan kambing dan ayam.

Hanya 2 keluarga di desa itu yang memiliki truk dan mobil pick up, itulah keluarga Harun dan keluarga Pak Haji Amir. Namun keluarga Harun masih lebih kaya dari pada keluarga Pak Haji Amir.

Dikarenakan keluarga Harun adalah keluarga yang kaya, maka sedari kecil Harun mendapatkan segala macam fasilitas yang tidak dimiliki orang lain di kampung, seperti video player VHS.
