Bambina
Before we left, I grabbed the chain and stuffed it into my bra. I was curious about it. I haven't had the chance to look at it.
At this moment, I was sitting on a couch in the living room watching people stumble around like I did when I first got my legs. It was quite amusing, to be honest.
Aiden left a few minutes ago. He said he would be back and that he was going to get us a drink. So, I've been here since.
I was getting bored the longer I sat here. Watching people walk like a mermaid who just got legs was only amusing for so long. I stand up and move through the people.
Some were dancing weird and grinding against each other. So embarrassing, if you ask me.
"Hey!" Someone steps in front of me with a huge smile.
He reeked of something strong but, still, I put on my very best smile. After all, he is pretty cute.
"I haven't seen you around here before." He shouted over the loud music. "What's your name gorgeous?"
I push my hair behind my ear as I say, "Um, Bambina."
He smirks as his eyes roam my short frame. "Beautiful name, Bambina. I'm Jaxon."
I smile up at him, silently thanking him for the compliment.
"Um, I should... Find my friend." I tell him.
He nods. "Sure. You should find me later so we can hang out." He ends with a wink.
I give him a small smile with a slight nod before walking around him. He was nice but, I'm definitely not finding him later. I have to get back to the ocean. I do not need another Aiden incident.
I walk through a door to the kitchen and search the room with my eyes. Finally they land on a familiar figure by the counter. He was with a girl with bright red hair.
I walk over to him and tap his shoulder. He turns around and when he sees me, he smiles before glancing back at the girl.
"Darcy, this is Bambi. I met her on the beach." Aiden introduces me to the red head.
She chuckles. "Bambi? Like the deer?"
He smirks. "Exactly like the deer."
He slings his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer, giving me a reassuring squeeze. The girl, Darcy, watches the movement with a frown. I couldn't tell what was wrong with her.
"Well, I'll catch you later, Darcy." He gives her a wave before pulling me through the crowd in the kitchen.
He holds out a blue cup. "This is for you."
I grab the cup and put it to my nose to smell the liquid. It smelt disgusting. I scrunch my nose and look up at Aiden.
"What is this?"
"Tequila. It's good." He chuckles.
I nod as I put the cup to my lips. Slowly, I lift the cup and let the liquid slide into my mouth. It burned my throat going down causing me to cough several times.
"Ew. No, thank you." I say handing him the cup back.
He chuckles softly before running back into the kitchen. This time, he returned in less then a minute with another cup.
"This is coke. Same thing you had last night." He tells me as he hands me the cup.
This time, I take a huge gulp. It was much better then that 'Tequila'.
"Thank you."
He grabs my hand and pulls me through the crowd of dancing people. He sits his cup down somewhere random and I take another gulp before doing the same thing. He pulls me closer once we get to the middle of the living room and wraps his arm around my waist.
My face heats up and I look down at our close bodies. He grabs my chin and smirks at the blush covering my cheeks. He grabs my arms softly and place them around his neck. Slowly, he starts to sway his hips.
I laugh softly as I watch him swaying. He places his hands on my hips and moves them from side to side.
After a few moments of us awkwardly swaying, we get more comfortable. We dance like the crazy humans around us and I find my self having a lot of fun. We jump around, still holding each other. It was really fun.
After what felt like forever, I was beginning to get thirsty again. Aiden pulled me, by my hand, to the kitchen to get us some drinks. This time, he got coke as well.
"What time is it?" I ask him.
He pulls out his phone. "Three. We still have a few hours. Do you wanna go watch a movie or something?"
I shrug. "Yeah. Okay."
He smiles before we head out the house that was still blasting music. We left before Kelsie and Alex so we had to walk. Luckily, I'm pretty used to walking around. But, never have I ever worn heels before so it was a whole different experience. One I hope I never have to do again.
When Aiden saw that I was struggling to walk in these shoes, he tells me to get on his back. I do as he says and he carries me all the way until we reach another big house.
"Where are we?" I ask him.
He smirks. "My house. I'll be right back."
He sets me down and runs up the porch. He opens the door quietly and steps inside. I was standing there for a few minutes when he comes back out. This time he's holding two things in his hands.
With one, he points it at a van and presses a button. The car lights up and then he presses another bottom, causing the door to open.
"Ladies first." He gestures to the car with a slight bow.
I chuckle at him before climbing in. He gets in behind me and closes the door. He reaches into the front and starts the van.
"Why are we sitting in the back?" I ask him.
He presses something above our head and the top slowly moves downward.
It's a TV!
He smiles at my shocked face and then shows me the second thing in his hands.
"This is hands down the best movie in the world." He tells me.
The title says, 'The Outsiders'. He puts it into the DVD holder and grabs the remote.
"Why do you have a TV in your car? Wouldn't it be kind of dangerous to watch this if your driving?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.
He chuckles while shaking his head. "This is my mom's van. Remember I told you about my little sister? Her name is Hazel, by the way." He smiles at the mention of his little sister. "She's five so she likes to watch TV when moms driving."
I nod in understanding. He presses a button in the car, making the seats lean back slightly before getting comfortable. He pulls me closer and I relax against him.
"Comfortable?" He asks.
"Yeah." I whisper.
He smiles down at me. "Good."
And then, he presses play.

Y'all, I've had a rough couple of days and I feel like my heads going to explode. I've read books about people seeing something traumatic in there lives and having bad dreams about it and can't sleep at night. Use to think, hmmm wonder if that's true.
My dad died while I was holding his hand, while my boyfriend was doing CPR on him. We tried everything we can to save him. But, every time I close my eyes that's all I see. I haven't slept in two days. And when I do get to sleep, I have nightmares about it and in back up again.
Then this morning, I go get some coffee to wake me up since in not sleeping good and my mom tells me to have a seat..
My uncle Johnny died this morning.
Please, keep my family in your prayers or thoughts. It'll be greatly appreciated!
Anyway!
