Unknown POV
This has gone on for far too long. No matter what I do, it doesn't seem to be working. Nothing. I flirt with him so that he'll like me but, he doesn't act like it fazes him in any type of way.
All I need to do is get him to kiss me and he'll fall under my spell. He'll only want me and he'll forget all about her. As long as he's not in love with her. They've only known each other for about three months, give or take, so he shouldn't be. No one falls in love that fast.
I just need to keep him away from her until midnight on her birthday.
It shouldn't be too hard. I can just make up a story about needing to crash at his house. Then where would she go? Streaking around Jacksonville. I could laugh at the thought. But, I won't. Because I need a plan. Something that will have Aiden's attention only on me.
I could make our parents get into some kind of accident so that he'd feel guilty if he were to even think about saying no. Especially if 'my dad' were to get hurt.
Hahaha!

Now, he'll focus on me so my over all plan might work.
What is my plan, you ask?
I'm going to take everything I possibly can from Elizabeth Gallegar. Just like she took everything from me.
Martin Gallegar was the love of my life. We were perfect together. That is until Elizabeth moved into town. We spent every waking moment together. He was my best friend. But, I was soon forgotten as Elizabeth became the center of his whole world.
I tried to ignore it as first. You know that saying: if you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it was meant to be. If not, it was never yours to begin with.
He never came back. But, I couldn't just sit back and accept that. So, when she became pregnant with Bambina, I gave him an ultimatum.
He could leave Elizabeth to be with me, or I would take what he values the most.
He called me crazy of course, not believing in what I could do. He even laughed at me when I spoke out the curse that would soon be his daughter's new life.
However, I doubt he was laughing ten years later when he had to let his precious daughter go into the ocean.
Not long after he let her go, Martin and Elizabeth went out searching for her. Before they could find her, I caused a storm to knock him out of the boat. I didn't mean to kill him. I loved him dearly. But, when I noticed later how devastated Elizabeth was, I knew my plan was working.
Now, I just have to keep Bambina and Aiden apart. That way, she can't fall in love with him. Because, she will. Aiden and Bambina are soulmates. If I don't keep her away from him, the curse will be broken before her birthday.
But, if I can make Aiden fall in love with me before he realizes he's in love with her, the plan will be golden. She will be stuck as a mermaid for the rest of her life and Elizabeth will lose everything she's ever loved.
Just like me.
Now, I just have to cause an accident.

I smile down at the text I received from Aiden as I quickly get out of the shower and get dressed. I type back a quick message letting him know I didn't mind watching cartoons with him and his sister.
I mean, she's just a little girl. Plus, I know how much Aiden's baby sister means to him. He would literally do anything for her. Just as I'd do anything for him. I realize that now.
Why wouldn't I? He stops his life for me every night.

I brush my hair and pull it into a tight ponytail before I go into my room. I switch on my Xbox and load up modern warfare, which I play a lot lately. Especially when Aiden's busy. I've gotten pretty good. I talk to people over the mic and some of the guys are really mean. Especially when I win because they don't think girls can play.
It's whatever, though. To me, its just a game and it's fun.
About a half an hour later, I hear the front door opening and closing.
"Aiden, let's go make ice cream!" I hear a little girl yell excitedly, causing me to smile.
Although I was in the middle of a match, I turn the console off and put up my controller and mic.
I walk out of the room and notice Aiden walking up the stairs. He smiles up at me and winks.
"Hey, beautiful. Hope you had a nice swim today."
My face burns with a blush and I nod my head, also trying to hide my blush with my hair, before remembering I pulled it up.
Aiden smirks before walking up to me. He's silent as he caresses my neck before grabbing onto my ponytail. He twirls my hair around his fingers before he moves his hand to the back of my neck.
He leans in, rubbing his nose onto mine before quickly kissing the tip of it.
"I love it when you blush. It makes you that much more beautiful. Especially when you blush for me."
