On Duat Space Station, no one can hear you complain about Capitalism.

Jackal is a security technician on the take. And while he would like nothing better than to continue letting bygones be bygones, one of his criminal contacts turns out to be a deep-cover operative who’s not only willing to blackmail him over the bribes, but also blackmail him over his more illicit activities too… which is not an ideal situation to be in when that deep-cover agent is an ex-boyfriend and needs a favor that could get Jackal killed.

Enter a jail-broken enforcer robot, a contract assassin who remembers him from his life before law enforcement, and a best friend who knows how to guilt-trip like nobody on-station and Jackal might just bite the suicide-mission bait if only to avoid his adult-life responsibilities.

Throw in a burgeoning identity crisis and an addiction to pick-me-ups and anyone looking in would wonder why Jackal’s life didn’t implode years earlier.
