Then, the day of the reunion arrived. We came by carriage and I was wearing a brand new dress that Matthias had just made. Matthias looked anxious, but I was holding his hand, so I squeezed it lightly to reassure him. Edith was the one who was living in this mansion with her husband and children, so when we got to the front door, Edith’s butler Carmine opened the door.
“It's very nice to see you again, Miss,” Carmine said, “And it's nice to meet you, your highness. Everyone is in the ballroom waiting for you. Follow me.” Carmine took us to the ballroom and Matthias didn't let go of my hand until we got to the doors to the ballroom. “Here we are.” Carmine and a maid, who I recognized but couldn't remember her name, opened the doors to the ballroom. Inside were all 65 of my family members as promised, but most of them were children. When my Mother saw me, she smiled and ran up to Matthias and I.
“Lia!” She exclaimed, “We are so glad to see you.” She turned to Matthias. “You must be his highness the third prince. It's so nice to meet you. I am Lia’s mother.”
“It’s nice to meet you too,” Matthias said, “But I'm Grand Duke Korinauks now, I'm no longer a prince.”
“That actually makes sense,” Mother said, “Because why else would your children grow up in the former Dukedom of Purdue?”
“So, you really are a seer,” Matthias said, “Because that's our new territory, where we’re going to move after the Royal wedding between my sister and Prince Stephan of the neighboring country.”
“It's not as unusual as the types of magic that Lia obtained,” Mother said, “Witches usually only have one rare type of magic, but Lia has two.”
Soon everyone was introduced to Matthias, but it took a few hours because my family likes to talk. I got to meet the babies and small children that were born while I was away, two of them were already four years old. I was surprised to meet my 9th sister's fiancé for the first time. She was going to marry him in a few months and they seemed really excited planning for the wedding.
“You could spend the night if you wish, Lia and Grand Duke Korinauks,” Richard, Edith's husband, said after dinner was served and eaten, while we were in a different room. Matthias and I looked at each other. “It's just two more people.”
“Thank you for inviting us to stay longer,” Matthias said, “But we have some things to do back at home before we go to bed.”
“Yes, thank you for having us,” I said, “But I think we should go back before we go to bed. I have something to do in the morning that is rather important as well.”
“That’s too bad,” Richard said, “But we hope you come by again before everyone leaves.”
“We will,” I said, “But we’ll be leaving with some of them. We're going to stay here for three days then go and stay in the Hawthorne Viscounty for a few days before we leave for our new territory where Duke Purdue used to rule.”
“I bet that Bertha was happy about that,” Richard said, “She's been a little lonely with everyone getting married off and having kids. Her son and older daughter are already married.”
“Well, we better be going,” Matthias said.
“Alright, have a good night,” Richard said. We said our goodbyes to everyone and then left.
When we arrived in Matthias' chambers at the Palace, it seemed like Matthias was no longer anxious.
“Can we sleep together tonight?” Matthias asked, “I want to make love.”
“Sure,” I said, “I missed your embrace.” Matthias smiled.
“I will try to be quick with the paperwork then,” Matthias said. Matthias went and worked on the paperwork. So, I went with Ellie the maid to go get a bath. She took me to the one where Matthias almost got assassinated.
“Ellie, can you make sure that nobody is behind the painting?” I asked after she took off most of my clothes. I had done this before because I didn't want her to take off or put on my underwear for obvious reasons and it's worked every time. So, while she's distracted, I take off my underwear and put a towel over me before I go into the bath. When I sat in the water my dick disintegrated. The water was a little too hot, but it was still a month away from my birthday, so why did this happen?
“There’s nothing there, Miss,” Ellie said, she turned towards me, “Why do you look so devastated, Miss?”
“The water is not the temperature I wanted it to be,” I half lied, “Can I quickly have my bath and then go back? I want to talk to Matthias about something.”
“Are you on your period?” Ellie asked. I frowned.
“Witches don't have those,” I said, “Why?” Ellie pointed to the water. I looked down and the water was red. I stepped out of the water and noticed that I had a wound by my towel on my upper thigh. “I do not recall getting that.” Then, some guy came out of the water with a knife.
“You're not a man,” the guy shouted, “I was supposed to attack Prince Matthias, why is there a muscular bitch like you here?” Suddenly, the door burst open and Matthias’ standby guards were there. They grabbed him and took him away. I didn't even have time to process what just happened when Ellie quickly got me dressed, underwear and all.
“You're so lucky that you heal quickly because you're a witch,” Ellie said, “But that was a terrible thing to go through.” Ellie led me back to Matthias' chambers and had me sit on the edge of his bed. I could hear people talking but my mind was a muddled mess.
“Lia?” Matthias asked, waking me up from my confusion, “Are you alright?” I noticed that it was just the two of us now with him right in front of me. He was wearing his nightshirt.
“I guess so,” I said, “But I lost it.” Matthias nodded.
“I know, I heard,” Matthias said, “I can understand you being devastated. You had that part of you your whole life and then suddenly it's gone.”
“I sat in the bath and it was gone,” I said, “I didn't even notice the assassin much less notice him cut me. I just saw the bath slowly fill with blood.”
“That’s terrible,” Matthias said, “Do you just want to cuddle tonight instead? We can do more another day.”
“Let’s cuddle for now,” I said. We got under the blankets of his bed and cuddled.
“I love you, Lia,” Matthias said, “I really do.” I turned to face him, but he kissed me deeply before I could say anything.
“I love you too, Matthias,” I said. I was starting to get in the mood to make love, when Matthias let go of me. “Why did you let go?”
“I was going to relieve myself,” Matthias said, “I don't know if you’d be interested in making love tonight, so I was going to deal with that.”
“I actually want to do it now,” I said. We made love, but it was different from before. It was a little hard to get used to. I got another magic type, which was just a general water type.
Soon, it was the day of the Royal wedding. We had everything packed and sent to the Hawthorne mansion in the capital, where we promised to stay for a few days before we left with Bertha and her family to go to the Hawthorne Viscounty to stay a few days before we left to go to our new territory. Apparently, everyone aside from Mother, Father, Bertha and her family, and Edith and her family, had left the day after we had the reunion.
The wedding was beautiful and the couple looked so happy. I heard that Princess Hildegard was boasting that her brother Matthias made her dress to anyone who asked. We had hoped that word would get out about Matthias' dressmaking skills, but didn't think it'd come from his sister on her wedding day.
“I'm going to miss you, Lia,” Princess Hildegard said as she hugged me with tears in her eyes, “Take good care of my third brother, he’s a good guy with a big heart. I just wish I could've seen your wedding before I left, because when I leave I can't come back. I just found this out this morning when the King of Mordonia, Stephan’s uncle, spoke with Stephan and I. He seemed just as devastated as I was.”
“It’s okay, Princess Hildegard,” I said, “When we do get married, I know that you’ll be with us in spirit. That's enough for me. You’ll always be my good friend and will be my sister-in-law soon enough. So, if you can, please write to me?” Princess Hildegard pulled back and smiled at me.
“Definitely,” Princess Hildegard said, “You will always be my good friend too. I'm going to miss training with you, but my husband said that he’d try to find someone who would train with me. I'm a little nervous about that, because you're the only one who was ever at my level that was easy to talk to.” Princess Hildegard let go of me. “My husband is waving at me, I better go. Bye, Lia. I’ll be sure to write to you.” She disappeared into the crowd, before I could say anything.
“She really does like you, Lia,” Matthias said from behind me, I looked behind me to see him sipping on some drink looking displeased, “Sorry for the sour expression but I accidentally ran into my former fiancée. It seems as though she's still stuck in her old habits.”
“Why was she invited if she was your former fiancée?” I asked.
“Someone in her family is close to Mother,” Matthias said, “Can we go to the balcony for a little while?”
“Alright,” I said. We went to a far balcony and Matthias kissed me as soon as he made sure we were alone. His arms wrapped around me and we kept kissing for a few minutes before we pulled back.
“I really love you, Lia,” Matthias said, “I want to marry you as soon as possible, but we have to wait until after we move into our territory to even start planning it. I was hoping that we could have it in December of this year.”
“There might not be enough time, it's July 15th today,” I said, “And I have 65 family members coming, probably more.”
“That's true,” Matthias said.
“Maybe next year,” I said. We went back out to the ballroom and Mother came up to me with Father behind her.
“Lia and Grand Duke Korinauks, we decided to go back to Edith's,” Mother said, “I have to tell her something urgently and Father is having trouble with the crowds again.” I noticed that Father had a strange look in his eye, like he was terrified of something.
“We have our own carriage,” I reassured her, “We’ll be fine.” Matthias nodded.
“We’ll see you in a little while,” Matthias said. Mother and Father quickly left. Soon, we were dragged away to have a family meeting with all of Matthias' immediate family members and their spouses.
“I am sad that two of my sons, my only daughter and their families are leaving the capital or country of Lorena,” the King said, “But I hope to hear good things about what you do after you arrive at your destinations. My two sons that have stayed here will both have a chance to prove themselves to become my successor, but hopefully will stop using assassins. I really don't condone that behavior, but I can't figure out who it is. Yes, what is it, Matthias?” I didn't even notice Matthias move or do anything.
“Both assassin groups that attacked my bathroom were told by a guard named La Rue how to get into the tunnel behind the painting,” Matthias said, “Sir La Rue is one of brother Lucius' men.” I noticed Prince Lucius started to shrink back.
“Is this true, Lucius?” The King asked.
“I didn't ask them to do it,” Prince Lucius said.
“Do you remember what happened to your brother?” The King asked. Prince Lucius hung his head.
“I'm sorry, dear Father,” Prince Lucius said, “I will renounce my claim to the throne.”
“You are no longer my son, Lucius,” the King said, “You will serve time in the jailhouse of Edin. Anathema, you will be granted a divorce if you wish, as well as you and your children will be in our care until we make other arrangements.
“That leaves us with Eric, who is now the crown prince. We will have your ceremony in the new year, after Matthias and Lia's wedding. It may no longer be a Royal wedding, but I still plan on attending and having it before the coronation. I believe that is all. We will take our leave.” The King and Queen left. Then, two palace guards came in and took Lucius away.
“Congratulations on your wedding, Princess Hildegard and Prince Stephan,” Matthias said, “Have a safe trip. We'll keep in touch.”
“Thank you, brother-in-law Matthias,” Prince Stephan said.
“Thank you, Matthias,” Princess Hildegard said, “Lia already promised to send letters and I'm sure we're going to send portraits of our future children after they're born.”
“Definitely,” I said. We went to the next couple.
“Congratulations on becoming the crown prince, Eric,” Matthias said, “I'm sure that you will become a great King and your wife, Sofia, will be a great Queen.”
“Thank you, dear brother,” Prince Eric said, “I hope you and your fiancée have safe travels. I can't wait to hear great things about you and your bride-to-be.”
“Thank you, third brother-in-law,” Sofia said, “Both of you have safe travels.” We went on to speak with the next couple.
“Orion and Tatiana, we hope you have safe travels,” Matthias said.
“You as well,” Orion said, “We are going in the opposite direction, so we’ll be going after we finish saying our goodbyes.”
“We will too,” Matthias said. We went to Anathema who looked dejected. “Anathema, you didn't know, did you?”
“I didn't,” Anathema said, “But of course, I feel terrible about it. I wanted a divorce before because he has cheated on me numerous times, but I was scared to ask because of the reputation behind it and what would happen to me and my children if I did ask for it. I heard about what happened with you and your former fiancée, so I knew that our divorce would probably be granted, but my husband was the first prince and we had two children by the first time I caught him cheating on me.”
“You should get the divorce, Anathema,” I said, “You deserve it.”
“Father said he'd help you until other arrangements are made,” Matthias said, “I'm sure that he’ll find a way to make sure that you have everything you need. He is definitely going to keep Lucius away from you for as long as Lucius is alive.” Anathema smiled.
“Thank you, Second brother-in-law and Lia,” Anathema said, “I wish the two of you safe travels.”
“Thank you, Anathema,” Matthias said. We walked to the carriage outside, we were given four brand new carriages with the Korinauks family crest, a white dove with two gray swords crossing through the middle and a blue background in the shape of a shield, on the front of the carriage and were extra long to hold more things inside, sort of like a wagon, but for nobility so all four sides were covered. Of those four carriages, three of them were already full and had already left the capital and we were taking the final carriage to my family's mansion in the capital.
“I want to be embraced by you,” I said as we rode in the carriage across from each other. Matthias looked surprised.
“You don't normally say things like that, Lia,” Matthias said, “Is something wrong?”
“No,” I said, “I'm just feeling a little lonely here.” Matthias came and sat down next to me. He helped me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me. I kissed him and he kissed me back.
“We don't have far to go,” Matthias said, “So, let's not do anything else until we get back.” That made the trip feel ten times longer, but we did get weird looks when the doors opened and I was getting off his lap.
“The Miss and Master are always very loving,” I heard Ellie tell the coachman who was called Reginald as we got to the door. Carmine opened the door.
“I will show the Lord and Lady where they will rest tonight,” Carmine said, “Normally since you're both not married yet, we’d have you in separate sides of the mansion, but at my Madame's request you two will be in rooms next to each other.” Carmine showed us to our rooms, but then when Matthias was inside his room Carmine winked at me. “There's a secret door between the rooms, have fun finding it again.” I remembered where the door was because I used to go through it when I was small. I went into my room and Ellie, knowing that I wanted to go to bed, quickly got me changed into a nightgown.
When Ellie left, I snuck through the door into Matthias' room. He was sitting on the bed in his nightclothes looking at some book. He looked up before I could get to his bed.
“Lia, how did you get in?” Matthias asked.
“I used the bedroom next door as a child,” I said, “But I want to sleep with you.” Matthias smiled as I sat next to him, he put the book down and dragged me under the covers. We made love and I obtained another general magic type, but it was steam. I got dressed and got comfortable.
I opened my eyes to see Matthias looking at me anxiously, causing me to worry that something was wrong so I sat up quickly to see Father staring at us from the foot of the bed. He didn't look happy.
“I’m sorry I didn't realize you were here, Lia,” Father said, “I had something to discuss with your fiancé here. Can I ask you to go back to your room?”
“Yes, Father,” I said. I quickly left the bed and the room via the secret door. I called for Ellie, who arrived shortly. “Can you put me in the red dress with the red jewel accessories to match?”
“Yes, Miss,” Ellie said. She quickly got me changed and I sat down quietly on the couch waiting to hear about breakfast. Ellie left the room. I was a little lost in thought when someone sat down next to me. I looked over to see Mother looking a little embarrassed, but otherwise happy.
“Lia, there's something you should know,” Mother said, “We didn't know the exact date it would happen, just the average time it takes for the spell to wear off for witches. It's a spell that was cast on your father's family for generations, it took just one witch to break the cycle, which is you.”
“You should've told me that it would disintegrate like that,” I said, “I was so put off by it that I got cut by a blade and didn't even notice until the bath was filled with blood.”
“We didn't know that it would happen like that,” Mother said, “It just happened to your father a few days ago as well. He is devastated, as I’m sure you are as well.”
“Wait, father is…” I started, but couldn't find the courage to finish it.
“Yes,” Mother said, “But I still love him and we’re pretending that he's still a man. It's a secret, but I actually prefer him the way he is now more, so don't worry about us. We're still very happy.”
“So, what is Father talking about with Matthias?” I asked.
“He heard you two last night when he went for a stroll,” Mother said, “He wanted to lecture the both of you, but decided to give your fiancé advice about how to satisfy a lady in bed.” I was mortified, why would Father do that? “He’s giving your fiancé the advice his father gave him.” There was a knock on the secret door.
“Come in,” I said. Matthias was holding Father. Matthias looked very embarrassed and Father looked like he had fallen asleep.
“Can you get him please?” Matthias whispered. Mother was quicker than I and was able to get Father to let go of Matthias and hold on to her instead. All I could do was stand up. Mother quickly took Father out of the room.
“What happened?” I asked.
“He fell asleep after giving me a lesson on sex with women,” Matthias said, “But I didn't want him to sleep on my couch and I hoped that your Mother was strong enough to carry him back to their room.”
“Father might’ve been a knight, but Mother is just as strong as him,” I said.
“Similar, but different to you and I, Lia,” Matthias said, “And honestly, I want to make love again to show off the new techniques, but we don't have to if you don't want to.”
“I just got dressed,” I said, “I don't want to mess up one of the dresses you made me.” Matthias frowned and looked at the dress I was wearing.
“Can I at least touch you?” Matthias asked. I nodded. I didn't see why not, until he put his hands directly on my chest, underneath my dress and bra, and started groping them. They were even more sensitive after I became a woman. “I think they've gotten bigger, Lia.” I was starting to feel horny, but I knew that breakfast was just around the corner.
“Let's stop,” I said as I pulled Matthias' hands out from my dress. Matthias looked disappointed. “I think that we can do it quickly before breakfast.” Matthias’ expression instantly changed to a happy one. He turned me around, bent me over the couch, pulled the hem of the dress up, and pulled my underwear down. He ejaculated inside me, but I didn't get any type of magic at all, which meant that I probably would be conceiving soon.
“Something felt off,” Matthias said, “Are you alright, Lia?” He pulled my underwear back up and let my dress fall back into place. I stood up again and looked at him. He was looking at me concerned.
“We’re probably going to have a baby,” I said, “I didn't get any magic.”
“A baby…” Matthias said, “We still have to have our wedding, I would have to make the dress for a pregnant body. I haven't done that yet. I wonder who our baby would look more like?”
“I’d rather the baby look more like you, Matthias,” I said, “Being a witch is not as fun as you would think.”
“I'm pretty sure I have a slight understanding of what you're talking about, Lia,” Matthias said, “All the discrimination you faced while working for and then being with me was enough to open my eyes. I'm going to protect our children no matter what, but especially if they're a witch.”
“I love you, Matthias,” I said.
“I love you too, Lia,” Matthias said, “You're definitely my everything and I'm sure our children would be just as wonderful as you are.”
“What a sweet talker,” I said.
“It's how I truly feel,” Matthias said. I kissed him.
When we finally got to the Dukedom of Korinauks, it felt like we had been traveling forever. Having that stop in the Hawthorne territory was nice, but I wish we didn't decide on staying a week. When the servants greeted us at the Korinauks mansion, I noticed that there were four maids, a head maid, six male servants, and a butler that I didn't recognize. The servants and knights Mathias brought with him were there as well, but he made sure only to bring the ones that were friendly with me.
“It's a pleasure to meet you, Duke and Duchess Korinauks,” the Butler said, “My name is Ramsey and I’ve been in charge of this mansion for the past twenty years.”
“My name is Grace, I am the head maid,” a matronly woman said, “My daughter Monica will show you around the mansion.” A maid who looked similar to Grace walked up.
“I am Monica, your graces,” the maid said, “Follow me and I’ll show you around.” The mansion was about the same size as the Hawthorne mansion, but it was definitely a lot to get used to.
“I think we'll go rest in the master chambers for a little while before we go down for dinner,” Matthias said when we finished the tour. He took my hand and led me to our chambers. I laid down on the bed, while Matthias sat down next to me.
“How did you know that I needed rest?” I asked. Matthias had a twinkle in his eye.
“You looked rather pale, Lia,” Matthias said, “So, I figured that you would need to lay down and if we went together they would think that I’m very attentive to my wife.”
“What a gentleman,” I said. Matthias kissed me.
