I know it’s been a while. Almost two weeks, actually. The full moon was earlier this week, so I was a bit busy. I’m still feeling like crap, and haven’t returned to my classes yet. But, I got a few more things to write about at least. Look on the bright side. That’s what Sirius tells me.
So. I was in the Common Room, trying to catch up on some classwork that I missed. My professors are all very understanding, but I still need to get the work done. Lily comes over and lays down on the couch next to me and places her head in my lap. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun, and she was wearing a pair of fluffy socks. And one of James’ quidditch jumpers. She NEVER wore those. She still claimed that the two of them were ‘just friends’ and neither of them had feelings for the other at all. Anyway, those three observations all led me to the same conclusion. “That time of the month?” I asked her, putting down my notes and playing with her hair. “Yeah," she said, drawing her knees up to her chest while huddled up against me. “Me, too. Don’t worry, though. It’ll be okay,” I told her, still stroking her hair. “Want a piece of chocolate?” I had plenty to share. She nodded, so I grabbed a few pieces out of my stash. James was walking past as I said those few sentences, and needed a double take. “Wait!” he exclaimed, dragging over a chair. “What did you just say?” I looked down at Lily, who shrugged. “WE GET PERIODS?” he shouted, loud enough for the entire castle to hear. I rolled my eyes as Lily giggled into my sweater. “No, James, you bloody idiot. I’m a werewolf. Need I remind you again? I. AM. A. WEREWOLF. Bloody hell.” Lily was full-on laughing. “Was that last bit a pun?” James asked. “I can’t tell if you were trying to be funny, or are just really surprised with how stupid I can be.” I shot him a look. “I’ll take it that it’s the latter, then.” Yeah… Gotta love my stupid arse mates. They’re the best.312Please respect copyright.PENANAk0qaztaHz5
