Tell them stories because in the long run we all are stories馃
Iam wanjiru mwambago and when the white man passed by my village Daizy was added. Iam a writer and a story writer. I guess that how I would casually introduce myself. I like expressing through writing rather than orally.
Iam the kind that is now starting my work out routine for the 90th time. I always promise myself this time I'm doing it but when morning comes I peep through the window and it's like drizzling huh!, Nah, the sun shall rise and we try again tomorrow. Besides is there any weight I need to loose noooo! It's just keeping fit. I cover myself with the blanket to keep warm. Not to sleep, just to keep warm because me I won't catch pneumonia because of working out.
Two hours later I'm still covering myself now on Instagram precisely Nairobi Gossip Club catching up with the latest celebrities scandals. Six hours later I'm still on my phone. I need to do something, so I take a shower and now it's around 12 noon so I have my lunch. I remember I had plans to go to town for bookshopping but I change my mind sand say I will go tomorrow and since it's far ,Aaah the sun shall rise and we try again tomorrow."
What iam saying is I was always procrastinating. Always making excuse, I knew I needed to do something but i was like waiting for the universe to give me signs you know. I woke up one day and prayed "God please help me to stop this procrastination ,please and also help me strengthen my relationship with you." Iam not that much of a a religious person but iam a believer.2022 taught me the most. It taught me have a stranger relationship with God, to appreciate life, to appreciate good health and to appreciate love and Good friends.
Good friends that keep you sane, that hold you tight during craziest time. I have one and this son of a woman makes the most beautiful chapters of my story.2022 made me reminisee about my identity, iam a lover of life, I take a day at a time and give my all in each day. Iam intentional about writing my own stories, because one day they will read about me.
