There is a moment, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAgrI3ZWnClh
A split second, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAaifEJVLnch
Between birth, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAUTZrQcKRG8
And death, 991Please respect copyright.PENANATmc9FvOEmI
That is called life.
Everything you have ever done, 991Please respect copyright.PENANA20iDuzD751
Everyone you have ever loved, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAThTNPq6oHp
Everything, 991Please respect copyright.PENANArffsZ6XVXd
Occurred in that moment.
Whether it be, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAQKBDfnnL7v
One year, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAs4b1uolGCl
Ten years, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAfTPryF8c1z
Fifty years, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAh1PYtvfbE3
Or a hundred,
It was only a moment. 991Please respect copyright.PENANASVUnzspIES
But though that may be, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAjUHAmU4ymu
The nature of mortality, 991Please respect copyright.PENANACaycmXqPxf
There is more to life, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAkHsGakJImc
Than death.
And though that might seem empty, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAPzMX0jE4Ph
Know that all life, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAU6HiJDHFla
Exists the same, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAIU3WnvqSHu
Ends the same.
So live your life, 991Please respect copyright.PENANAP3olatJ9Wu
Because only you can live your moment.
The Nature of Mortality was inspired by that line in Interstellar (2014) where Matt Damon screams, "There is a moment-" and is imploded by incorrectly attaching an airlock. After all the jokes about the "genius astronaut who couldn't operate an airlock properly," I wrote the line on a piece of paper and stared at it for five minutes. And at the end of the five minutes, this happened. I hoped you liked it, despite the implications of it.
