Today I am happy.

I feel better than I have in

A long while, for a long while,

I've been depressed.

~

So depressed that my mind was

Turning to mush and it seemed

As if my eyes were always bloodshot

And I never got any sleep.

~

So depressed that all I could think about

was finding someway to be numb.

Everything I did, was to be numb.

I wanted to feel but at the same time,

~

not feel anything at all.

~

But today i'm happy

And I wonder how long it will last.
