Word of the Abandoned's existence spread throughout the Earth like a wildfire. Normals began to grow anxious of the power they wielded. No one knew where they had gone after their battle with Arlo, which had affected their peace. The more time progressed, the more frightened the Normals were by the very idea of powerful beings living amongst them. The few Abandoned who dwelled amongst the Normals feared for their own lives since they grew wary of what humans might to do them and their young. The crime rate in large cities tripled over the course of those six months.
