Every foot that she stepped, matched her heartbeat. The wind rustled the leaves as she looked at the gigantic castle like school. She took her footsteps lightly, trying to make sure she doesn't trip, gaining the unwanted attentions that she doesn't want to receive at all.
Looking around, she frowned. She wasn't happy about the surroundings, too many people with different types of ass attitudes. Taking down her airpods she looked around, trying to get into the thoughts. Yucks. It was purely just disgusting when she read it.
"That's hell. I thought I would never see you again," A low deep voice rung through her ears. Turning around, her eyebrows raised. "Quit staring. I know you missed me," The guy said.
"Don't flatter yourself out here," She said, not wanting to continue to conversation. To her surprised, he let out a grin.
"Back off my god damn cousin," Another guy said as he walked towards Riven, wrapping his arm around his neck, "Done flirting with her?" Riven quickly let up his hand, surrendering.
"Sky," Hazel said, acknowledging her cousin. Sky smiled before messing up her hair which she gave a yelp, "I did my hair extra pretty today. Don't ruin it." He let out a chuckle before looking at a red hair girl.
"Is he flirting with first years again?" Riven whispered. Hazel looked at Sky who was talking to the girl and nodded her head. Broken up with Stella and decided to go for a new target, way to go Sky. Hazel raised her eyebrows as she sees her cousin flirting with the new girl.
"Riven, stop him. Stella is looking, no wait, she is ready to blind red hair soon," Hazel said as she stared at Stella who was leaning against the pillar, eyebrows raised. Riven let out a chuckle before walking towards Sky.
"Quit perving on first years. Stella won't be happy," Riven said as he pulled Sky away from red hair.
"Riv, just give me one second," Sky said, groaning in silence.
"Yeah? Why? You gonna chase her?" Riven joked as he wrap his arm around Sky's shoulder. Sky rolled his eyes before giving a chuckle.
"Don't chase her. You and Stella didn't end the relationship well. I suggest you keep it to what it is currently," Hazel said as she looked at the two boys. Walking away from them, she walked up to the dormitories where she found the Winx suite.
Looking around, she found the room that had her name and and key, a single room, just how she likes it. Moving the curtains to cover the sunlight through the window, she looked around, dark.
She never liked the bright sun nor light that is in the room. Placing the tiny dark warm fairy light colours and changing the bed sheets, she looked around, the tiny table that is meant for studying. She placed every single of her books, making space for her to study.
"Zel, are you there," A knock came. Stella. Opening the door silently, she walked back to the table that she was trying to arrange, not looking at Stella in the eye. "Zel, why didn't you meet me once you reached here?"
"I thought there wasn't a need to do so," She muttered softly.
"No one will know what happen. Seriously. Just be under my watch. My mom wants you to be with me nearly every single day," Stella said as she helped her arrange the clothes.
She stopped the empty mind that she had in her head. She stared at Stella, looking at her with no emotions. "Don't talk about it here in front of me," She muttered once again.
"Well, Sky is here, talking to a red head named Bloom who can't read the room. A fairy without fairy background. Miserable I must say," Stella said, ignoring what Hazel said earlier.
"Stella, the both of you ended things already. There is no need do care about what Sky does already. Keep it to what it is already," Hazel silently said, not wanting to interfere in their business too much. She could hear Stella cursing behind her back but she didn't bother too much.
She had always knew Stella was stubborn, too stubborn till she will want to make things dirty with her own hands. Before she knew it, Stella had already stepped out of the house, not wanting to talk to her any further.
She wasn't scared of Stella. She didn't fear her either. Though she did blind her own best friend, she still didn't have any prejudiced against her. Grabbing her phone, she walked out of her room, getting out of the suite before her other suitemates find her and talk to her. 10Please respect copyright.PENANA27xZxIp6ZO
She looked around at the orientation party. Pure simple chaos. She didn't like how bright it was and how everyone was mingling with each other. Taking a cup to drink, she leaned against the pillar, observing all of their moves. 10Please respect copyright.PENANAXMOMw2B0yz

All of them at once. She could feel the negative emotions more than the others. Her fingers lightly tapped the pillar as she felt tiny magics floating at her fingertips. Every note she placed on the pillar, every magic feeling she feels.
"Hazel, I didn't expect you to be with the crowds," Riven said, popping out of nowhere to greet her. Hazel looked up before looking back at her cup. Taking her cup, Riven drank from it, acting oblivious that he is drinking her drink.
Her hand went in his pocket, taking out the cigarette pack that he kept in with the lighter. "Zel, have you not quit it yet?"
"I don't see you quit with it. Also, where is your stupid vape? Did Dowling take it away?" Hazel replied, raising her eyebrows. Riven rolled his eyes before wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
"Pathetic first years. C'mon," Riven said as he pulled Hazel with him, targeting a specific first year. "Want some?" The first year shook his head. 10Please respect copyright.PENANAR35Sh6yl4d
"No I just-"
"There's two types of first years. Pussies and aspiring former pussies. Sort of feels like it's less a binary choice and more a spectrum, but…Cheers," Riven said, cutting off the first year's protest.
"Are you bullying the first years? Be more basic," A voice said. Hazel's eyes glowed as she sensed the presence. She turned her head a little, revealing Terra standing right in front of Riven.
"I can't bully the willing, right?" Riven chuckled.
"Just ignore him. He thinks he's some badass. You should've seen him last year. He's just a tragic nerd in disguise," Terra retorted, sensing the hatred in her words.
"And she's just three people in disguise," Riven said, and before he knew it, he hit the nerves. The first year wanted to defend him but Terra stopped him. 10Please respect copyright.PENANA082G37gkg9
"No, I've got this. People always think that they can treat the big girl like shit because we're… we're sweet, and we're harmless, and we should be happy that you're even talking to us. But sometimes, we've had a really, really bad day, and some scrawny little arsehole says the wrong thing at the wrong time, and we're not happy you're talking to us, and we're not sweet, and most of all, we are not harmless," Terra said.
Her vines, strangling Riven, making his breath uneven.
"Terra stop it," Hazel coldly said, finally interfering the situation. She didn't listen. Letting out a loud sigh, her hand twitched. red bloody coloured magic stopped the vines. She looked at Terra who was still trying to get past her magic.
"Terra, just stop it this instance. You are going to kill him," Hazel said once more, her other hand ready to hurt Terra if she doesn't wake up her own bloody idea. That's when Terra stopped.
Riven choked as he tried to breathe in as much air as possible. "You could've killed me."
"Missed you too," Terra smiled at him, "Anyways, Hazel, you're back. I haven't heard from you for six months." Hazel nodded her head before walking away, chasing after Riven who was all alone, humiliated badly in front of everyone. 10Please respect copyright.PENANAkyRDl8M1r2
"Riv."
That's all she said as she looked at Riven, lighting up the cigarette, hands shaking. Slowly stepping forward, she held onto his hand. Her head filled with his thoughts as she tried to calm him down.
"You didn't need to stand up for me," Riven said, taking a drag.
"But yet, if I didn't help you, you would've died in her vines," Hazel said as she looked at him. He let out a chuckle.
"Where have you been for the past six months," Riven suddenly asked.
"School."10Please respect copyright.PENANAeu5svLPheV
She masked whatever she said with a face, unreadable. Took a step backwards before turning away, not wanting to further continue the conversation.
She was hiding something, he knew it. He just doesn't know what it is. She was hard to crack, masking her thoughts and emotions from everyone till mind fairies themselves aren't able to decipher it.
