*Emily:* Hmm… I moved to Europe from Italy a few years ago. Studied fashion design. Now I work at Liam sir’s company. My life’s a mess — full of blunders! I never know what I’ll do next. It’s kinda irritating, haha.

*Alicia:* You're full of life. Do you have a boyfriend?

*Emily (smiling nervously):* Hmm… yeah.

*Alicia:* Can I know who the lucky guy is? I

Will tell you some other time… we’re still kind of on a trial basis.

*Alicia (softly):* Emily, I want to tell you something. My crush… my love… it’s always been Liam. I’ve been waiting for years to see him again… to tell him he’s everything to me.

Alicia and Emily are sitting on the bed, talking softly. A warm lamp glows in the corner.

*Alicia (eyes sparkling, voice full of emotion):* And tomorrow… it’s Liam’s birthday. I’ve made up my mind, Emily. I’m going to propose to him.

*Emily (smiling, surprised) Really?

*Alicia (smiling dreamily):* Yes. It’ll be *that* moment — the kind I can’t even put into words. You know, I never really got love or attention from my parents… and my relatives? They only saw me as someone who could fulfill their needs. They cared about my money, not me.

(She pauses, takes a breath.)

*Alicia:* I don’t want to live with them. Not ever again.

*Emily (softly):* Liam sir probably likes you too. Honestly, you two would make a beautiful couple.

*Alicia (hopeful):* You really think so?

*Emily:* I do.

*Alicia (smiling):* I feel it too… deep down, I think Liam likes *me*.

They share a quiet, heartfelt moment.

She throws her bag on the couch and slumps down.

I don’t know why… but hearing all that made me feel *jealous*. rests her head back, staring at the ceiling, lost in thought.didn’t even pick up Danial’s call.

I thought ..

But why does this bother me so much? Liam… he’s not *that* important to me.

We’ve even fought. He never really cared about me… probably doesn’t even think I’m good enough for his brother.

He made me feel like I didn’t belong. Like I wasn’t worthy.

Forget him. He clearly likes Alicia anyway. That much is obvious.

Next day Liam's Birthday party arranged by Alicia

The room is beautifully decorated. Guests are gathered around a table with a large birthday cake. Alicia stands beside Liam, holding a mic. Emily watches from a distance, trying to smile.

*Alicia (nervous but glowing):*

Before we cut the cake… I want to say something from my heart.

She looks at Liam lovingly.

Liam, you’ve been with me through everything. I couldn’t imagine a better life partner. So I m going to tell you how much I love you ..

Will you marry me?

Liam is visibly stunned. He forces a small smile — polite, but clearly conflicted. He doesn’t say much… just nods lightly and hugs her.

Emily stands alone, facing the water, wiping away silent tears.

*Emily (softly):*

Maybe Danial was just a friend to me… but Liam… he was always more than that

I don’t feel good enough for him. But I’ll never tell him how I feel.She looks up at the sky.

*Emily Remind herself "

Life is all about compromises…

Sometimes with your husband, sometimes with your best friend…

She wipes her tears and turns — suddenly freeze

*While clapping Liam is standing there, watching her.*

*Emily (awkwardly):*

Haha… still mad at me, sir?

Emily’s face drops, stunned and speechless.

Emily lowers her head and begins to walk away. Liam, burning with emotion, grabs her wrist and pulls her back.

*Emily (startled):*

Sir, what are you doing? Let go of my hand!

*Liam (firmly):*

No. You’re not walking away like this. Tonight… you’re going to hear *my* side too.

Emily respond !!

I don’t want to hear anything. You and Alicia are perfect for each other. You *like* her.

*Liam (shouting):*

Stop it, Emily!

*Liam (stepping closer):*

How can you say I like her?

*Emily:*

Because I *know*! You both have such great understanding. It’s obvious.

*Liam (mocking):*

Wow. That’s all you know?

*(He steps even closer, voice trembling now)*

*Liam:*

I *like you*, Emily. Not her.

And I only realized it when I saw you with Danial.

*Emily (coldly):*

It doesn’t matter. What matters is that Alicia likes you. I respect her. I can’t betray her.

*Liam (hurt):*

She turns away, tears in her eyes.

Next Morning

How do I face him in the office now? It’s going to be so hard.

But I have to go… I can’t keep running.

Their eyes close. For a moment, they forget the world. They exist only for each other.

*But then...*

Emily pulls away, eyes full of tears. Without a word, she walks away, leaving Liam standing there — silent, breathless, broke

At Ofc Reception :

*Alicia:*

Hi, is Liam in?

*Receptionist:*

Your name, please?

*Alicia (smiling):*

I’m Alicia… Liam’s girlfriend.

*Receptionist:*

Of course, you can go in.

*(Knock knock)*

*Liam:*

Come in.

*Alicia (cheerful):*

Wait… where are my car keys?

Did you check properly? They must be around.

You’re not here earlier... did any office staff take them?

*Liam:*

I doubt that. But let’s not assume.

Still, just to be sure, can you check the CCTV footage? They were digital keys… I just want to know.

*INT. ALICIA'S HOME:

Alicia sits on her bed, frustrated.

Where could those keys have gone? Makes no sense.

She opens her laptop to check the *CCTV footage* sent by Liam’s office.

As she watches—her smile fades.

In the footage: *Emily and Liam* are talking by the corner of the office. Liam looks emotional. Emily is crying.and then intense scene came ..

*Alicia (heart sinking):*

What’s this…? I turned on the voice too… and what I saw — it shattered me.

*Alicia (tears forming):*

He doesn’t love me… he loves *her*.

They both betrayed me.

Tears begin to fall uncontrollable

Maybe… he never really loved me.

Maybe it was just kindness… the kind any good guy shows to a girl who's alone.

I think it’s time to step back.

Even if I get him… I’ll never truly be happy.

Emily is getting dressed. She's composed, trying to move forward. She picks up her phone and heads to *Danial’s house.*

Danial’s phone is on the couch. He’s in the shower. Emily sits and flips through a magazine. The phone keeps buzzing. Out of instinct, she picks it up

*Unknown Girl on Call:*

Dan, you were with me last night.

Your *wristwatch* was in my room… come and take it.

Also, are you coming over today?

Emily freezes. Her hands tremble. She silently ends the call.

She gets up, stunned, and walks out of the house.

Outside, she sees *Danial’s father* by the car — talking to someone.

It’s *Liam*.

They don’t notice her. But suddenly, *Liam’s old words* about Danial echo in her mind.

*Liam (voiceover):*

Danial isn’t right for you… you deserve better.

What was I about to do to myself?

Danial… he’s a third-class guy !!!

*Emily sits silently, suitcase on the bed, holding her flight ticket. Her eyes are heavy with emotion.*

*EMILY (V.O.)*

I’ve made my decision. I need to go back to Turkey.

If I stay here, it’ll only make things harder—for both me and Liam.

*Her phone rings — it’s Alicia.*

Emily said , needed to tell you something…

My flight to Turkey is day after tomorrow.

*Alicia jumps out of bed, throws on clothes, and gets ready quickly.

Today, I finish what I started.

*She puts on her sunglasses and rushes out.*

*Alicia bursts into Liam’s office.*

*ALICIA*

Let’s go. Right now.

*LIAM (startled)*

Where? What’s going on?

*ALICIA*

Just shut that laptop and get in the car.

Alicia driving doesn’t speak. Liam watches her.*

*LIAM*

Why are we here? This is the airport?

*ALICIA (checking her watch)*

Still got 10 minutes before boarding. Perfect

*They spot Emily near the gate.*

*ALICIA (to Liam)*

There she is.

*Alicia pulls Liam by the hand and leads him to Emily.*

*ALICIA*

You two like each other so much, and yet no one says a word.

*EMILY (shocked)*

Alicia, what are you saying?

*ALICIA (to Liam)*

Stop her. This is your moment.

You’re marrying me, and she was about to leave.

Did you think I wouldn’t find out?

*Pause.*

*ALICIA (smirks)*

If I hadn’t seen the CCTV recording,

I’d never have known the love story playing behind my back.

And now, I’m going to finish it for you.

*LIAM (turns to Emily)*

Emily… don’t go.

Will you be my life partner?

*Emily looks into his eyes, emotional. Then smiles softly.*

*EMILY*

Only if you promise not to treat me like your employee anymore.

*They both laugh. Liam takes her hand.*

*EMILY (V.O.)*

And just like that, a new chapter began…
