Before he knew it, Cirrus was helping this demon up the stairs of his apartment building, his large frame using Cirris's small one for support as we made the journey. His quiet, pained grunts struck a sense of panic in the Angel's body, a murmured chill went through his wings which made them flutter slightly.

His black blood dripped through his fingers and onto the steps which made the material sizzle; demon blood was too hot for most surfaces.

They had made it to Cirris’s apartment at last, the labored breathing of the demon rang through Cirris’s ears. They both walked into his kitchen, the lights turning on as they stepped in.

“Sit.” Cirris says softly as he leads him to the table, soon taking his arm away from his shoulder. Koberic sat down with a grunt, his face scrunching up at the stinging pain.

Cirris couldn’t believe he was helping out this demon, a lowlife for crying out loud166Please respect copyright.PENANATM42QkWpYY
While grabbing some bandages, he noticed the pained expression on the demon’s face. He seemed pretty speechless when they both first met, but he managed to talk. Cirris wondered if he should say more than one word to the demon; after all, he did introduce himself first.

“Alright. I’m going to need you to stay still so I can stitch you up. The bullet went through your side both ways, possibly some internal damage, but you’ll heal.” He said quietly, walking up closer to the demon slowly. The demon nodded softly, his blood red eyes watching Cirris’s every move.

Cirris knelt down next to the chair, his delicate hands reaching up the hem of Koberic’s shirt. He slowly lifts it up and sees the demon’s red skin, now stained black from his blood. Cirris took out a needle and thread, his orange eyes focused on Koberic's wound.

The demon’s face quickly changed from a pained one to a frightened one, catching Cirris’s attention. His eyes met his again, the shining from the moonlight making both of the men’s eyes glow. Cirris noticed the fear in his eyes, possibly from the needle?166Please respect copyright.PENANA9NCD3am0e3

The Angel set down the needle and sighed softly, moving closer to the demon. His wings unfolded slowly and released his calming vanilla scent which soon invaded the demon’s nose. The demon’s pupils slowly turned to slits at the smell of Cirris’s scent, his mouth becoming dry.

Demons couldn’t resist the angels' smell, it was intoxicating. The demon reached up and took hold of Cirris’s left wing gently and brought it up to his face, burying his entire head into Cirris’s wing fold. The demon’s breathing got heavier; he was distracted for the time being.

Cirris found this a bit strange, but it was working. The demon’s breathing got labored, his head and face rubbing against the white and red feathers. Demons exhibited behaviors like cats with catnip when they had an Angel around them when they weren’t in combat, it was, in all honesty, a weird feeling for Cirris. He never let anyone see or touch his wings, but it didn’t necessarily make him feel uncomfortable.

“Stay still for me, please.” He said softly in a grumbly voice, moving his left wing closer to Koberic’s face. To Cirris’s surprise, the demon started to purr rather loudly. He let out a breath as the demon’s purring rang through Cirris’s ears, his eyes looking downwards from the contact of the demon's warm breath.

“Koberic, I need you to calm down. Just let the scent calm your nerves, don’t indulge in it.” Cirris stated quietly, grabbing the needle from the table once more.

Koberic growled in response, letting out a few controlled breaths. “Just close your eyes.” Cirris says, lifting Koberic’s shirt up. Koberic grabbed the wing joint of Cirris’s wing, burying his face into it and closing his eyes.
