This morning, I woke up and was in a "daze."

I tried to explain to my mother, and she wasn't really understanding what I was saying.

She thinks that I'm just being all emotional because of the week and that there isn't really any reason to be upset.

I was very angry with her, and finally had to explain it to my sister.

I went into her room and told her how I was feeling, and explained to her what I had told my mother.

She's only 15, but she already knew what was going on.

She asked if it was because I hadn't been around her enough recently.

I told her no, I told her what I had been doing and it wasn't fair that I was being blamed.

I explained to her about how this is a double standard for me because it doesn't affect the girls enough.

She finally understood, and told me to read the Bible.

She said it has a lot of good quotes that help her, and that I should read it.

I found it in the closet, and got it out.

When I got back to my room, I opened up to where it always is, near my bed.

The verse that was there, jumped out at me, and it gave me a sense of peace.

I went over it and underlined the parts that stood out to me.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Hebrews 12: 1 - 2

The other verse that stood out to me was the part that says, "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."

Luke 9: 23 - 24

I've never thought of it in this way before.

As soon as I realized that, it made sense to me.

I've always thought that I was being watched out for.
