About the novel:

The warring states of the world are warming around the new fires of a calamitous war, freed from half a decade in shackles of so-called peace. Of the billions who would suffer for it, Arminius Reichner, a seemingly commoner schoolboy, is trapped in the outbreak of war. There is but one exit. Into the fields where no man would dare tread if they knew the horrors that would befall them. Every sane person had dreamt of the praise and fame that they could earn from the people of their kingdoms through war, but none truly understood how such a childish dream has shattered even the most resolute of minds. "Beyond the Scars" is a story about two young individuals, Tyson and Maya, who have been emotionally scarred by their past experiences.

Tyson, a 22-year-old from the inner city, has grown up surrounded by violence, neglect, and loss. He has built walls around himself to cope with the pain, but deep down, he yearns for connection and escape.

Maya, a young woman with a bright smile, enters Tyson's life, and they form a bond. As they grow closer, Tyson begins to open up and confront his past. However, he soon discovers that Maya has wounds far deeper than his own, hidden beneath her radiant exterior.

As they navigate their relationship, they must confront their inner demons, learn to trust, and find a way to heal together. Along the way, they face challenges, setbacks, and revelations that test their love and resilience.
